These guys are amazing - period! I had a really hard backyard job on a 40% incline, in a small space and overgrown with ivy and other PNW flora. Fortunately for me, I hit it off with Angel and we shook hands on a backyard project focused on converting my space into a cute outdoor retreat. What I really liked about Angel is his attention to detail, his ability to visualize a space, and provide his opinions. Other contractors just came in expecting engineering-grade plans and just wanted to get the job done. Not Angel! He pushed me to think outside the box and I'm so glad he did. His team was prompt every day, worked their butt off hauling material to my inclined slopes all by hand! No heavy equipment could make its way back to my backyard but not once did they complain. They took care of every single detail, from cutting pavers to hit hard corners, cutting rocks to ensure safe use, and cleaned up after the job was done. You can't go wrong with these guys - and their price was great compared to most other bids.

I highly recommend Rainier Rockeries and Construction. Angel was great to work with. We had to make adjustments to the original plans because of a cable line issue. Angel and his crew worked hard to make the necessary adjustments so we could get what we wanted. During the whole process, Angel kept us informed about dates and times for the start and completion of the project. He also either answered his phone or returned my calls promptly and was there to answer any questions or concerns we might have. The crew arrived on time or early and completed the job on schedule. The retaining walls look great and we couldn't be happier with the results.

My husband and I contracted with Rainier Rockeries and Construction to build a retaining wall behind our back fence to prevent further erosion and to support our fence. It was apparent to me from my first conversation with Angel that he has great pride in the work he and his team do, which immediately gave me a sense of confidence in their ability to complete the job to our satisfaction. When he came by to quote the job I let him know the wall didn’t need to be pretty, just structurally sound. While looking over the job, he explained what they would do, when they could start, and how long it would take to complete. He also stated he would provide updates throughout the project, and respond to any questions or concerns as quickly as possible. I promptly received a quote by email after his visit, and although the bid was not the lowest, the price was fair for this labor intensive job and I felt confident he would do everything he stated they would do. He didn’t disappoint. The materials arrived in ample time for his crew to begin working; his crew arrived each day prior to the stated start time, and they worked diligently on the project throughout each day. This included manually hauling numerous 60 pound blocks approximately 40 yards to the project site each day, as there was no access for a truck to place materials near the work site. In addition, they were challenged by having to work in an area with loose soil, sloped land, and the need to remove materials from the previous wood retaining wall. Angel contacted me each morning to provide an update on the job and every afternoon to let me know his crew was finished for the day. He also promptly responded to any questions I had throughout the project. When we were informed the job was completed, my husband and I inspected the work. We found it to be both structurally solid and pretty (see the before and after pictures). I highly recommend using this company for a project such as ours, or any of their other services. This business is run with a high level of integrity, they do excellent work, and they provide superior customer service.
