Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  My parents private payed  Q C Homecare at the start of care  until their  money was below asset limits.  During this time I took them to the doctor  when the doctor wanted to see them. Then long term care insurance was started and was set up so Q C Homecare sent claims directly to insurance, and insurance paid Q C Homecare directly. Insurance was asked if they would cover some of the claims my parents had private payed, and they said no. Q C Homecare said that they talked to insurance, and insurance denied the back claims because I did not take my parents to the doctor often enough. Insurance told me the back claims were denied because my parents did not get  cognitive function  tests done by an evaluator approved by them. I did not get the cognitive function tests done because there was no need to at the start, and I am not disputing the early claims with Q C Homecare.  I sent Q C Homecare the claims I am questioning along with a letter from the insurance that says these claims were denied/closed for lack of daily visit notes, which Q C Homecare had,  and should have sent to insurance along with the claims.  I sent them to Q C Homecare registered mail, and did get a signed receipt back. Months went by with no response from Q C Homecare.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Good Afternoon
I have supplied [redacted] these statements and invoices many times over the past 2 1/2 years that QC Home Care provided services to her parents.  I will be more than happy to supply them again to her.  If [redacted] needs additional information I would...

be more than happy to provide it to her.  I am confident in stating that she has received the Explanation of Benefits from the long term care insurance for all the services provided to her parents.

Review: A private home care provider is requesting payment on a final bill. She is providing an invoice showing charges, but not insurance or client payments. I want to see a running bill showing everything. I said I have a right to see this before paying, she says that is not true. I am asking for an answer on this point.Desired Settlement: an answer on this point

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Sincerely,

Review: There are questions regarding insurance claims that were denied due to lack of daily visit notes submitted. Q C Homecare had the daily visit notes, and should have submitted them with the claims. I made copies of the denied claims, and sent them to her registered mail. It has been months and there has been no response of any kind.Desired Settlement: I would like a response from her. If the claims would have been payable otherwise, I think my parents should be reimbursed the money they paid out of pocket to cover the claims that insurance denied.
