Q-Tie Nails Reviews (1)

Review: I paid for a gel French manicure and a Brazilian wax. The manicure was done extremely poorly - three of my fingers were cut open and bled close to the cuticle, the nails are cut unevenly, some of the nails have rough edges, there is dirt under some of the polish, and the gel is already starting to peel after only two days when it is supposed to last for two weeks. When I complained, the manager only offered to do my nails again and said she would "fix it" but did not address how she planned to fix the fact that three of my fingers were cut open, and I was still charged full price. I gave one simple instruction for the Brazilian wax, and that was to take everything off. The manager warned me that it would be painful, and I explained that I understood that and had already taken a painkiller and that I've done it before. She continued to argue with me throughout the process, pulled on my hair with her hands instead of only using wax strips (which was even more painful) and refused to finish the job, leaving a lot of hair. Even my bikini line isn't clean, much less anything else. The hair that was removed has already started to grow back after only two days, when a proper wax job lasts for at least a month before hair regrows. After the services were performed and initial complaint made on Saturday, 4/4/15, I returned on Monday, 4/6/15, to complain again and ask for a refund, since neither service was performed properly. She refused several times, insisting that she could fix my nails and that the wax was done properly, and she claimed that only the owner could authorize a refund, who wasn't there, and that she was only a manager. She only consented to a refund for my manicure after another employee offered to pay for it, and the employee explained that the manager was also the owner. The manager insisted on lying to me, and said that she would fire the girl who did my nails, but only because I insisted on a refund, which didn't even come out of her own money. She still refused to refund the wax jobDesired Settlement: I received a $30 refund for the botched manicure. I want the additional $50 that I paid for the Brazilian wax refunded. I also want the Revdex.com to ensure that the refund for the manicure is reimbursed to the employee who was not responsible for any of this, and taken instead from the company itself.
