Q T Properties Reviews (3)

I signed a lease with QT Property Management from April 2018-March 2019. In October of 2018 I was told by property manager Alex Williams that my rent would be going up 10% when my lease was up and it would be 20% if it was just month to month. I was having issues with the renovations and noise already so I knew I would not be renewing my lease. I decided to look into getting a house instead. I talked to Alex Williams about the possibility of breaking the lease agreement before March 2019. There was nothing on the agreement about this. Alex Williams advised me to give her a week to look over my agreement. A week went by, she told me that after looking through the lease agreement, there would be no repercussions and I would get my security deposit back as long as I give QT a 60 day notice and proof of purchase for my new home and tbe apartment was rented out. I provided all the paperwork and gave my 60 day notice. I left the property by December 31st 2018 and the new tenants moved into the apartment January 3rd 2019. I forwarded Alex Williams my new address expecting to receive my security deposit within 21 days of vacating the property. After a month of not seeing my refund I called Alex Williams and told her I havent seen it yet. She seemed surprised and said I should have gotten the full refund plus interest. She also advised me she would look into it. A week later she called and said that she was wrong in telling me that there would be no repercussions and that I had forfeited my security deposit when I broke the lease. She apologized and had the regional manager called me. The regional manager explained that it was their employee's mistake and that Alex Williams had no right to tell me that I would be getting my security deposit back. I advised the regional manager that I would not have broken the lease if she had not told me it was ok. The regional manager apologized and said there was nothing they could do. I told them I would see them in court. I took QT to court on May 20th 2019...they did not show up. Now Im waiting to collect my judgement from them. Seriously, NOBODY from QT responds to any phone calls or emails. I would be very very wary of renting or dealing wit
h QT Property Management at all!

Do not rent from these people, a bunch of liars and thieves. They all have an F from the Revdex.com. In addition they have multiple lawsuits pending including one from me!

I live in the Marbella Apartments owned by these people. I love the area and the people that live here but the management sucks and the owners don't give two cents about anything around here except for getting paid there rent on time. God forbid you pay it late, even if you've been living here for years and you're only a day late. [redacted] makes promises and never keeps them and she loves slapping fake eviction notices on people's doors. They don't fix anything and I'm shocked code enforcement hasn't showed up looking for answers yet.
