Q T Nail Spa Reviews (4)

This is the second time I have used D&D 's services. I have three dogs and two teenage boys, so my carpets take a beating. Once again, I was thoroughly pleased with the results. If you have carpets or upholstery in need of cleaning I would highly recommend D&D!

Review: My daughter and I were in the QT Nail Salon in [redacted], NY on Friday, April *, 2013 around 10:45am. I paid the $35.00 (the total charge for getting my nails done and my daughter's nails done) on my credit card and gave each woman a $2.00 cash tip. After that was told that I owed $3.00 more because I had designs put on my nails. I proceeded to give the woman who did my daughter's nails $10.00 in cash for the $3.00 charge. She brought the $10.00 in cash to a man who was working at the salon (I am fairly certain that he is owner). She then came back to me with $2.00 change. I said that I should have received $7.00 change and placed the $2.00 on the counter. At that point the man came over to me and said that he had given the woman $7.00 change (cash) which she was supposed to give to me. I then informed the man that she only gave me $2.00 back. He noticed that I had a five dollar bill still in my wallet and he proceeded to argue with me that she must have give me the $5.00. I told him that the $5.00 in my wallet was there previously and was not money that the woman had given to me. He then proceeded to talk with the woman and questioned her as to where the $5.00 was. She told him that she did not have it, and he believed her. He then took the $2.00 from the counter and gave it to her. When I questioned why he was doing this, he said that the $2.00 was her tip. I then told him that I had already given each woman a $2.00 tip. He basically was calling me a [redacted] and refused outright to give me the money back. I then proceeded to tell him that I would never be back and he said, "OK, fine." The bottom line to this whole story is that I was short-changed a total of $7.00Desired Settlement: To receive the $7.00 that is owed to me.

Response:

Dear [redacted]:

QT Nail Spa would like to respond to the complaint filed with the Revdex.com by [redacted]. Our salon serviced [redacted] on April *, 2013. She claims that we presented her with incorrect change upon completion of her services while paying her bill. [redacted] is completely mistaken.

[redacted] did receive her $7.00 change she claims she did not receive.

QT Nail Spa has security cameras in our establishment, and we have a recording of one of our nail technicians handing her the monies she was due. Not only do we have the video but also please find following a statement written by another client who is backing up our claim.

In the best interest of QT Nail Spa's pristine reputation, we welcome [redacted] to return to our salon and receive the $7.00 she feels she was shorted. The only thing we request is that she views the video before accepting our money and that she no longer comes to our place of business for services in the future.

Please feel free to contact me if I can be of further assistance.

Thank you,

Manger

Response:

Dear [redacted]:

Once again, Q T Nail Spa would like to respond to [redacted] letter. We are offended to think [redacted] is degrading the name of our business and employees. We CLEARLY have security camera's and a close circuit TV situated where each and every customer can see it displayed. (We have enclosed pictures of the location our system). The recording clearly show that [redacted] was not only given her change but can be seen placing the money in her pocketbook.

Apparently, it is the Revdex.com policy to not forward letters of witnesses but once again, our offer still stands if [redacted] would like to come in we will not only show her the letter, of which, we have enclosed once again but also show her the video of her excepting her change and placing it in her pocketbook.

Lastly, this is NOT about the money amount of $7.00. This is the integrity of our establishment. If [redacted] would like to come to QT Nail Spa we will gladly show her the recorded security video, the camera's & close circuit TV, the letter signed by another customer AND not a $7.00 refund but a $14.00 refund with the understanding that she no longer patronizes our fine establishment.

Thank you,

Manager

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Dear [redacted],

I have received the letter sent from [redacted], Manager of the Q T Nail Spa. Once again, I would like to respond to [redacted] letter. I wish to start by saying that I am personally offended by the letter from [redacted] as I feel that [redacted] is calling me a [redacted].

I still do not understand why, if there are cameras in the establishmnet, I was told that there were not when I specifically asked about that when this incident occurred. I clearly stated in my previous letter to you, the events as they happended, so I am not going to repeat that in this letter. For me, this is certainly not only about the money. (I did pay around $30.00 on my credit card for the services that my daughter and I received.) It is more about the way I was treated as a customer at the Q T Nail Spa.

As I stated in my previous letter, I have no plans of ever stepping foot in this establishment again. I was definitely shorted $7.00 that day. Now, **. [redacted] wants to give me a $14.00 refund? That makes no sense to me. My feeling is that [redacted] knows that I was mistreated at his place of business and he is trying to make up for that. My response to that is "too little, too late".

Over the past several weeks, I have spoken with some of my friends who live in the area. Some of them have been to the Q T Nail Spa and they said that they were not happy with the service they received. Now I have confirmation that it is not only me that had a negative experience at the Q T Nail Spa.

My daughter and I have already found a new place to have our nails done and we both could not be happier with the serive we have been receiving.

Thank you for taking the time to read this letter.

Sincerely yours,

We just had our carpet cleaned by [redacted] who owns D & D Carpet Cleaning. Before finding [redacted], I had called several carpet cleaning services but [redacted] was the only person who asked specific questions about my carpet. I'm so glad that he did because my type of carpet would not have done well with the common steam cleaning method. [redacted] is very knowledgable about all types of carpets.
If you have ever suffered with a sticky, soapy residue after a cleaning, you won't have that with [redacted]. He and his son [redacted] did a wonderful job and did wonders for a problem area and with no chemical smells... Really nice guys who did a great job at a very fair price.

We had our carpets cleaned (3 bedrooms and a set of carpeted stairs) by D&D this part Friday. I was really impressed. They did an amazing job, and were very friendly. While they were they they also mentioned they were available to clean grout. We decided to get that done as well and it looks great! I will definitely be calling them again and highly recommend them!
