Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I spoke with *** the General Manager from Cash and Carry he told me that he knew nothing about my complaint until he saw the letter from the Revdex.com He also knew that I had sent a E Mail to [redacted] (owner) and [redacted] (General Mgr) a few days after I filed the complaint , I never heard back from anyone it could be that it was just deleted and no one read it or it was read and just ignoredIt is true that we measured the furniture both the one in the store and at our home and they measured the same so we thought everything would be ok It wasn't ! The delivery driver called the store then said that they were taking the couch back We than went to the store and [redacted] asked if we measured the couch and I told him yes ! He than said well you made the mistake and your are lucky we are taking the couch back and are charging you a 30% restocking fee [redacted] also said that [redacted] Furniture would not allow a return I had spoken with *** because he was coming out to repaint our walls where the delivery drivers scraped the walls and he had said that he had never known them to charge a 30% restocking fee [redacted] told me that he had never known [redacted] to be rude to customers He was rude to us ! Just the day before the furniture was delivered [redacted] called and told me that he was sorry and that they had overcharged us $I told him no and gave him the invoice number I was not rude nor condescending like he was when we went back to the store I also told [redacted] what [redacted] told me that each store sets its own policies regarding returns and he said they must have misunderstood what I had said and I should contact them again I then told him about what [redacted] had told me about not knowing anyone that had been charged the 30% restocking fee [redacted] offered a store credit in the amount of $half of what we had been charged I told him we didn't need anything and ask for a check instead he than said that wasn't possible it was a store policyI believe a check in the amount of the $would be a fair resolution of this I also believe that he knows this credit would never be used because of the treatment we received[redacted] *** Regards, [redacted] ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I spoke with [redacted] the General Manager from Cash and Carry he told me that he knew nothing about my complaint until he saw the letter from the Revdex.com. He also knew that I had sent a E Mail to [redacted] (owner) and [redacted] (General Mgr) a few days after I filed the complaint , I never heard back from anyone it could be that it was just deleted and no one read it or it was read and just ignored. It is true that we measured the furniture both the one in the store and at our home and they measured the same so we thought everything would be ok . It wasn't ! The delivery driver called the store then said that they were taking the couch back . We than went to the store and [redacted] asked if we measured the couch and I told him yes ! He than said well you made the mistake and your are lucky we are taking the couch back and are charging you a 30% restocking fee. [redacted] also said that [redacted] Furniture would not allow a return. I had spoken with [redacted] because he was coming out to repaint our walls where the delivery drivers scraped the walls and he had said that he had never known them to charge a 30% restocking fee. [redacted] told me that he had never known [redacted] to be rude to customers . He was rude to us ! Just the day before the furniture was delivered [redacted] called and told me that he was sorry and that they had overcharged us $346.95 I told him no and gave him the invoice number I was not rude nor condescending like he was when we went back to the store . I also told [redacted] what [redacted] told me that each store sets its own policies regarding returns and he said they must have misunderstood what I had said and I should contact them again. I then told him about what [redacted] had told me about not knowing anyone that had been charged the 30% restocking fee. [redacted] offered a store credit in the amount of $139.80 half of what we had been charged. I told him we didn't need anything and ask for a check instead he than said that wasn't possible it was a store policy. I believe a check in the amount of the $138.90 would be a fair resolution of this. I also believe that he knows this credit would never be used because of the treatment we received.[redacted]
