Our solar system was put in December 2018 It worked in the beginning but now it hasn't worked since June. They won't call us back.
we were told we would have money by using Solar panels. It is now costing us more than before the panels were installed. We are not paying $150 a month for the materials and $186 for electricity. So we are paying $336 a month total. Before the solar panels were installed we were paying $285 a month total. We cannot not afford to be paying this as we are senior citizens and on a fixed income This has to be resolved. Immediately! Todd *** was working with us on the situation but ne is no longer getting work from them

Desired Outcome

Finishing the job and giving us a a refund on what we are now paying

Hello Revdex.com,

Thank you for the opportunity to respond. We proudly stand behind our products and services. Additionally, we log and record all communications and visits with our customer to ensure proper service levels are being delivered. We are very sorry to hear Mrs S feels we do not take her calls or communicate, this seems to be inconsistent with our records. We have been in contact with Mr and Mrs S on several occasions since their installation in Dec 2018 . We have continually attempted to communicate and service their concerns.

The concern the customer has referenced a intermittent monitoring issue. The monitoring is an application that comes from the Solar inverter manufacture. This application can show the homeowner their solar production from a remote computer or tablet. In this particular case the customers WIFI signal which communicates with the application is continually losing signal. This does not affect the actual function of the solar panel or the customers savings with their utility. We have attempted to explain this in several communications. The solution we have offered is to install WIFI boosters at our labor and material cost to attempt to improve the customers WIFI so that the app does not function intermittently.
We completed this task on our last visit. The customers solar is and has been fully functional since PTO in early 2019.
In additional to the monitoring issues the solar system was down for a period of time during august. The down time is unrelated to the monitoring and WIFI and was due to a manufacture error which has now also been corrected. Pure Energy was not at fault for this down time but in good faith and to fully assist our customer we will be more than happy to cover the customers solar payment for this month since they were unable to utilize the solar during this period of time.

I am in a contract dispute with PE Solar that I have had no satisfaction in resolving and am now turning to the Revdex.com to assist in getting them to honor
My solar panels were installed and went active on 12/12/18. In the contract, I was promised average bills of $17 per month based on my past usage prior to agreeing to the contract. As of 10/7/19, my average bill is $78.23. From the beginning I had concerns when I wasn't seeing initial bills close to the promised amount. I reached out via email to several people at PE Solar and was given numerous reasons for the discrepancies. One person told me I was having my panels activated at a perfect time for accumulating credits. When I didn't see many credits on my bills and winter bills in the $47 and $40 ranges, I contacted someone else, who told me I would not see credits during the winter months due to the shorter daylight hours, but when the summer months came I'll be amazed at how much I would be saving. As the months went on I continued to complain about the bills. Eventually I was first told the sales manager, then the GM would look into it. It turns out that the sales manager and the GM are the president of the company, Eric. He took over exchanging emails with me. He asked to be allowed to review my electric bills on my FPL site, which I gave him access to. After a short time, I received an email from Eric declaring that I was using more electric then I had in the past. This particular conversation has been repeated with Eric on several occasions, and each time I dispute what he says. I've informed him I live alone, don't have many overnight visitors, and have not changed my usage since moving to Florida. He came up with some numbers to try and justify his findings, however those numbers can not be found on the FPL website. FPL told me they have no idea where Eric found the kWh usage he says I'm using. In fact, FPL has told me numerous times during this dispute I'm using far less electric then I have in the past. Eric offered to give me 3 additional solar panels, including installation, at no additional cost. I refused this when he added a stipulation to the deal that I could no longer hold his company responsible if the 3 additional panels didn't bring my bill to the promised amount on the contract.

After much frustration, I sent a certified letter, per the terms of the contract, to appeal my contract. That letter was sent to the Orlando office and signed for on 7/22. I had not heard anything from any representative of PE Solar for almost a month. Around 8/20 I called PE Solar for an update on my appeals request. I spoke with the receptionist in Arizona, and she indicated after asking around the office that they never received my appeal. I drove to the location where I sent the package, which was no longer where their office was located. But I was able to locate the suite they were in, and the person contacted the Orlando manager. In speaking with the Orlando manager, he said he forwarded the certified appeal to Eric in Arizona the same day he received it (7/22).

On 8/20 I sent another email to Eric and asked where this appeal stands. In the appeal I pointed out that I was in full compliance with the contract and that they have not been, first for not honoring the promised bills, but also for not responding to my appeals letter. At that point, Eric once again offered the 3 solar panels, this time with no strings attached, with the promise that we'd revisit the contract again after a full year had passed. I agreed to the 3 panels, and reiterated that only with no stings attached. I also told him at that time that I expect them to honor the terms of the contract, as well as refund me any money I've paid to FPL above the average $17 per month promised. Eric responded that he would order the panels. I have since heard nothing from PE Solar. I've sent 3 emails since 8/20 (8/29, 10/1, 10/7) with no response.

Desired Outcome

I have read other complaints regarding PE Solar and there are several that the customer has been given the exact same promises, and when the bills failed to come in per the contract, PE Solar has used the same tactics to blame the customer and not take any responsibility for their end. I've spoken with FPL Net Metering and they have told me I would need 30 panels in order to achieve $17 bills. I currently have 10. As in the previous complaint I read, I received a new water heater and pool pump, along with insulation in my attic. And again, like the previous review, Eric insists I should be saving at least 200 kwh per month per unit. There is no way for him to prove how much my previous water heater and pool pump used. But I do have proof that neither the water heater or the pool pump has done any significant savings on my bill. And that is based on the dates when the insulation, pool pump, and water heaters were installed, all several months before the solar panels were activated on December 12th. When I compare those bills pre solar to my previous years bill, my kWh were nearly identical. So if those products were as efficient as Eric claims, I would have seen a reduction of at least 200 kWh when the pool pump was installed in the following month. And then when my water heater was replaced, I would have seen my kWh the next month reduced by at least 400. That was not the case. What I am asking for now is that I receive the correct number of solar panels, based on what FPL Net Metering has told me, which is an additional 20 panels. I also want to be reimbursed for any additional money I had to pay in electric bills from the time the solar panels went active to bring the average monthly payments I made to FPL down to the $17.31 promised in the contract. And if there has to be any changes made with adding to my electric panel to accommodate a 30 panel system, I expect PE Solar to cover those expenses as well.

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint. We have been in constant contact with Mr B since the time of his project completion on December of 2018. Mr B has continually contacted our staff about his concerns and complaints. We have discussed these concerns at length with the customer. We value our customers satisfaction and ensure each of our customers are delivered what they are contractually entitled to in writing. To ensure this, we track all correspondence, written and verbal for each customer. We do our best in each case to service our customers and Mr B has been no exception to this standard. Please note due to the volume of his interactions with our staff we have carefully documented his communications with PE Solar thus far.
Mr B has contacted our staff via multiple calls, emails, letters and unannounced visits to our office to confront PE Staff about his purchase. The communications are often including threats and ultimatums. Mr B believes his solar system is not working and his remaining utility bills are higher than he had expected. PE staff has gone to great lengths to research and provide factual documentation from the customers utility bills, the utility solar meter to show Mr B the solar system is, in fact working just as promised. These communications have been met with no acceptance and continued denial.
We have documented communications regarding this repetitive topic on the following dates:

January 28th 2019
April 15th 2019
April 16th 2019
April 17th 2019
April 25th 2019
May 22nd 2019
May 27th 2019
May 29th 2019
Aug 22nd 2019
Aug 29th 2019

Each correspondence contains multiple emails with thousands of characters of text, including demands and ultimatums. PE Solar staff has courteously provided response to over 80% of the repetitive emails. On Sept 2nd PE Solar attempted to reach an agreement with Mr B that was in good faith to stop the defamatory communications with our staff. As a part of this agreement, admitting to no fault PE Solar offered 3 panels, a $3,200 value at no charge to the customers. It was then again explained that his system was working fine and these panels are being provided in good faith to attempt to earn his satisfaction. Staff explained these panels must be special ordered and a there will be a 4-6 week delay before scheduling of installation. As we initially committed, Mr B will be contacted within that timeline to receive his panels. We have confirmed his panels will arrive late next week and he will be scheduled shortly after. A representative from PE Solar will communicate this directly with the customer today 10/11/19.

Thank you for your time and help in bringing this matter to a close. We value our continued relationship with the Revdex.com - PE SOLAR

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Thank you for sharing a copy of PE Solar's response. Please note that although the 3 panels have now been installed, as of October 14th, I am still monitoring to see if these additional panels will satisfy the terms of the contract that I signed with PE Solar. At this point in time, it is too soon to know if the matter has been resolved satisfactorily; however, with regard to having continual contact with the company regarding my concerns, starting in January, this is accurate; although some of the contacts were related to questions to clarify how the system worked, etc. and at that point were not dealing with the complaint regarding the promised contractual agreements. The January 28 communication that is mentioned is when the initial concerns were raised; the April 15 communication provided detailed information documenting my continuing concerns; the two emails on April 16 related to my frustration with seeing my electric bills coming in at beyond what was promised in the contract and the first time I mentioned notifying the Revdex.com if not satisfactorily resolved and was when I was told Eric was the sales manager and it had been referred to him. April 25 communication provided information I had received from FPL and reiterating what I felt would help resolve the conflict with contract terms. May 22 communication which also contains the email chain prior, including May 16 from PE Solar that states "we will schedule 3 panels, ops will be in touch - Eric." and I was merely following up to get information on whether ops would be emailing or calling/texting me regarding same. May 29 communication was a contact with both FPL and PE Solar asking them to come out to check their respective equipment. August 22 communication (plus the August 20 back and forth emails, now indicated "I will open a service ticket for the 3-panel addition. Thank you, Eric." (Note: Originally was told in May 2 this was being done when they also said this would be the extent of their offer and any further issues with not meeting the contracted agreement would be on me. I did not agree to this until that stipulation was removed from the offer). The August 29 related to a question on if I needed to do anything with the pending hurricane and a request for status of the 3 panels. From August 29 to October 1st I had no further communication from PE Solar, so I do not know about any supposed contact from them on September 2, nor a 4-6 week delay before scheduling installation; in fact, I have an email from May 2 from Eric: "please allow 2 to 3 weeks to get the equipment in stock. A project manager will reach out to you with an install timeline from there.

As it relates to "unannounced visits" he refers to: I made only one visit to the address where I had mailed the default letter and that was because although I received a confirmation of the delivery of the certified letter at the address on the contract; after allowing for the time in the contract for a response, I called and got the Arizona office and the person who answered informed me she was told (by Rachel) they had not received anything and did not know who the person was that signed the receipt and told me to mail it again to Arizona as they had moved the Orlando location from that temporary space. I drove to the address listed on the contract to see who the person was and was told she was a member of their staff, not PE Solar, and that they had contacted the manager of the Orlando office to inform him of the certified letter. That office reached out to the PE Solar manager in Orlando and allowed me to talk with him on the phone. He told me he had sent it on to Eric the day he received it. Subsequently PE Solar acknowledged receipt of the certified mailing in Arizona.

I would dispute that "these communications have been met with no acceptance and continued denial" on my part. The contract I signed stated my electric bill should average $25/month (although subtracting the numbers included in the contract and per verbal confirmation of the initial sales team) I should see bills averaging $17/month and I have not seen that average from the time of installation to current. My average over the first 10 full months with solar panels is $77.90. Eric has stated that this is due to the fact I am using more electric. He used the pool pump and water heater as an example of how much I should be saving on kWh, stating that each should be saving me at least 200 kWh per month. The pool pump was installed on October 4, 2018 and the water heater on November 16, 2018. The kWh used was nearly the same as previous year in the months of November and December when my old pool pump and water heater were operating.

November 2017 (old pool pump and water heater)1399 kWh
November 2018 (new pool pump old water heater)1367 kWh

December 2017 (old pool pump and water heater)833 kWh
December 2018 (new pool pump new water heater)893 kWh

January 2017 (old pool pump and water heater)714 kWh
January 2018 (new pump, heater, 5 days solar)718 kWh

Hello Revdex.com,

As stated in our previous reply, MR B is not accepting that his energy usage has risen substantially. As he has outlined, his electric usage before the solar and energy efficiency products were installed matched the usage after they were installed. The usage and production from the solar is metered by his utility company. This reduces his bills by a set dollar amount which we accurately quote using US Dept of Energy numbers. As he indicated his post solar bills remained the same which rationally can only indicate an increase in his usage. This can and only indicate an increase in household usage, there is no other explanation from a quantitative standpoint.
Additionally, please see a copy of the customer signed agreement. The after bill of $25 is not promised or guaranteed. It is clearly stated to our customers in an honest and truthful manner that any additional usage will result in a higher post solar bill. PE Solar cannot control their usage. If the customers usage stays the same, the bill will be as indicated on their contract and is in the majority of cases low or lower than our estimate. In the case of Mr B the usage went up substantially which was indicated on his FPL bills. Therefore this increase in usage caused an increase in his post solar bill. Precisely and we hade indicated on his signed agreement. We have fulfilled our end of the agreement and gone above and beyond to bring this matter to a close. We have no further desire or ability to continue to go in circles about the same information with Mr. B.

Thank you, Please see attached.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This has been an ongoing bone of contention since the solar panels went in. This company appears to believe that a contract only has to be honored by the consumer, and they can do what they want. So let me be clear as to how this went from the time their salespeople came to my house to now.
At no time when the salespeople came to my house did they ask to see my bills to see how many kWhs I used in the previous year. What they asked was to see how much my bills were and when I told them I had a spreadsheet with those amounts they said that would be fine. So everything was based off of how much my bills were, not how many kWhs were used monthly. There is no substantiation for their saying "This reduces his bills by a set dollar amount which we accurately quote using US Dept of Energy numbers. " FPL, my utility company, has continued to state to me verbally that my usage has not increased since the panels were installed. Why would anyone sign a contract that is going to reduce their costs and then increase their usage which is what is implied in this response when they quote "an additional usage will result in a higher post solar bill. PE Solar cannot control their usage. If the customers usage stays the same the bill will be as indicated on their contract and is in the majority of cases low or lower than our estimate" ? That makes no sense, and as I have repeatedly stated, I have not added or increased my usage, and supposedly I was told the new water heater and new pool pump would actually decrease the electric usage. The reason I agreed to the contract was based on the reduction of my electric bills to the amount promised. Now, because it didn't work out, this company suddenly wants to use kWhs as the reason my bills are higher, even though FPL net metering has stated I'm using less electric then I was prior to solar. My sister and her husband, who also worked with PE Solar, were asked to provide a copy of their actual bill. Why didn't they ask me for those, also?
I know how my finances are, and how I use my electric. I have spent the past 3 years changing my bills with other companies to reduce my expenses so I can afford to eat. I would never have agreed on a contract if I wasn't sure how I used my electric. I've told PE Solar numerous times exactly how I use my electric and have since moving to Florida. I have 1 TV running in my house at any given time from 6:30 AM to 1:00 AM every day. Even when I leave my house 1 TV remains on for my dog. All my lightbulbs are the highest in energy efficiency and none have burned out in the 3 years I've lived here. The only lights that are on is in the evenings in the room I am in. My AC is set at 79 degrees and I use ceiling fans to circulate the air in the house to reduce the AC from coming on as frequently. I don't use my electric stove often as I have an induction burner that is high efficiency and more often am using my gas grill outside for cooking. As I live alone I don't use my washer and dryer often but those too are high efficiency machines. I have lights that come on outside my home from dusk til dawn. And I have a dishwasher I use several times a week. I have 1 refrigerator that was purchased new and the settings have been the same since installation in September 2016. There have been NO NEW PURCHASES that would require the use of electricity since well before having the solar panels installed. In addition, they told me that I would see a reduction with the installation they did of a new water heater and new pool pump, yet I have not been able to verify that either through FPL or PE Solar that there has been the savings PE Solar stated.
I don't really appreciate this company trying to blame the consumer. I've done nothing different, the only changes in my house has been the additional insulation and then the pool pump and water heater that they keep saying should be saving me 200 kWhs a month each. And when I prove that isn't the case by providing the numbers before the solar panels were installed they try and turn it into proof for them that I'm using more electric. Yet somehow the kWhs are almost identical before and after install of the pool pump and water heater. Am I supposed to be able to calculate almost to the kWh how much electric I can use to assure that their calculations are correct?
I've seen other complaints about this company since this dispute started. The company starts out by thanking the Revdex.com and then finishes up by disrespecting the customer.
I watch enough court shows to know that a contract is a meeting of the minds. All I want is what I was paying for, short of sitting in my house without the use of lights, AC and/or heat, and TV at night in order to achieve the promised amount on the contract. I shouldn't have to alter my lifestyle at home in order to do so. And for them to say they don't want to hear about this anymore, or I shouldn't contact them anymore is outrageous. There are 2 parties in a contract, and , in my opinion, they are failing completely on their part. They are offended when a customer contacts them with complaints, and actually told me to stop calling and emailing them. And when I continued to email them they just ignored the emails. Is this the way a quality company treats their customers? They want to come off as bending over backwards to assist me. Well when my electric company tells me it would take 3 times the panels they installed to get to the amounts promised in the contract, PE Solar offers 3 and then tries to get me to agree in writing to say if that doesn't correct the problem then it's my fault, which I refused to agree with. It wasn't until Eric finally took that stipulation out that I agreed to the 3 panels with the understanding they would reevaluate after the first full year is complete. And now because I filed with Revdex.com, he is saying he doesn't want to hear about this anymore. That's not how a contract works. I expect to get the bargain of the contract. I have continued to have payments taken out of my account to pay my monthly payments on the loan I had to take out. And I expect until this situation is resolved I will continue to have those payments taken out of my account as that is what was required from the beginning of this whole transaction.
In my opinion, they substantially underestimated the number of panels needed to bring the average cost within what they stated. It is not an increase in usage. It is a lack of the number of panels that are necessary to reach that average cost.

Thank you for the message. Our responses have been full and concise. Mr B seems to believe and and interpret his agreement in a manner that benefits his misunderstanding of his purchase. The fact remains we have delivered verifiable factual data from his utility billing / solar inverter. His system is performing as stated. The paragraphs upon paragraphs we have continually fielded internally and from the Revdex.com do not change the facts. The claims continue to be meritless and in fact boarder defamation.
As advised by our legal department we will no longer attempt to defend our service and or go back and forth over frivolous claims. This is a very regrettable situation as we have gone above and beyond in offering him over $3,000 in free equipment and labor to appease the customer. At this point we are at a complete loss as to how to find a middle ground but can say with absolute resolution nothing further bill be offered.
This will be our last response on this matter to Mr B.
Thank you for your time. See the attached customer contract for your review.

I purchased a solar system for my house, the system is undersized, PE SOLAR is denying to speak with me in person. Please see my full complaint below.
On January 30th 2019, PE Solar came to my residence, more specifically Brian ***. My wife and I signed a contract which stated the system was designed to save us $188 a month and we would have an average bill of $25 a month if usage stated the same. Now for the numbers I provided to Brian in , with 9 months since we moved into our house our average KWH( Kilowatt Hour Usage ) was 1613.11, Now being part of a MODEL HOME program, they advised they would provide us with a HOT WATER HEATER, NEW POOL PUMP and INSULATION in OUR ATTIC. AT NO POINT did PE SOLAR have any numbers on what my current electricity usage was for my HOT WATER HEATER nor POOL PUMP. PE SOLAR provided me with estimated production numbers for my system, now if you take these numbers compared to my LAST YEARS numbers at no point in time will the solar use cover even close to what I used in the previous year.

May 2018- Used 1197KWH.....SOLAR IN GREEN will only produce (1098)
June 2018- Used 1921KWH..... SOLAR IN GREEN will only produce (971)
July2018- Used 2089 .......SOLAR IN GREEN will only produce(984)
August -Used 2057......... SOLAR IN GREEN will only produce(914)
September- Used 2068...... SOLAR IN GREEN will only produce(832)
October-Used 1862........ SOLAR IN GREEN will only produce(853)
November-Used 1364..... SOLAR IN GREEN will only produce(716)
December-Used 928........ SOLAR IN GREEN will only produce(607)
January 2019-Used 1032 SOLAR IN GREEN will only produce(682)

Total those numbers up in which I would have to pay for and it would be 6,861 KWH.

Total Use 14,518 in 9 months.......System Produces 7657 in same 9 months = 6861 KWH I would have to pay for that's 762 KWH per month in those 9 months, which is no where close to the $25 a month

The first month of solar we paid to Duke Enegry $300.52
Second Month ,$183.89
Third Month $178.65

Our contact says average of $25 a month and savings of $188, our average bill before was $213 a month.

PE SOLAR, to include DOMINQUE MADEUNO, RACHEL *** has been dodging my calls and emails.. They will not respond to me, will not provide me with any proof. Also Rachel provided FASLE INFORMATION to her co worker ZOE ***, she told ZOE that the solar system produced 1030 KWH in the month of AUGUST but when I asked for proof of this matter she could not provide it, It took PE SOLAR over 3 months after my system was turned on to activate the monitoring feature so I could monitor progress. PE SOLAR signed off on the loan that all work was done and completed and it was NOT. We have now paid two of the loan payments and my wife and I are beginning to experience a FINANCIAL HARDSHIP. All I would like is for the system to produce what it is suppose to. I sent an email to PE SOLAR to ZOE *** and she replied by stating that my energy usage was more then what it was and that when they sized the system, they sized the system including a 5% decrease in energy usage with the insulation and a 2550 KWH savings yearly from our hot water heater. How can they factor these in when they don't know what my current hot water heater used and secondly don't know what my pool pump used as well. If PE SOLAR had just done their job and not try to cut corners we would not be in this position. All I want is for a system that produces enough for my bill to what they said or within 10-20 of that. I think they have a scam going, for when customers realize what is going on that they think they can sell them more panels. IN the email that ZOE replied back to me , she advised that THE VP advised we could sell me more panels at cost which would be $3450, but lets hope that your circuit breaker can handle this.

Also Brian *** advised there was a PERFORMANCE GURANTEEE on the system, that if its not producing what its suppose to for the next 25 years that PE SOLAR would come out and fix the issue and add more panels, When I asked DOMINIQUE about this she advised she knew nothing about this and that she didn't know that it was anywhere in writing. I've asked se

Desired Outcome

All I want is my system to produce what it should, to cover my normal use of electricity, minus all this stuff they think is going to change in my household vs what it already was. Build the system right, do it right the first time and we'd have no issues. If they do not fix the issue at their cost, I am going to obtain legal counsel due to the many reasons I have stated above where my wife and I are beginning to experience a severe financial hardship due to the system being undersized.

Dear Revdex.com team,
It is unfortunate that our client has decided to file a complaint about our service. We take customer service ultra seriously and we only wish to gain happy clients. It is our belief that we have gone well above and beyond with this client; unfortunately we were not able to come to a satisfactory conclusion.
We service thousands of customers with great care and thoroughly document all our client interactions to ensure the finest customer care is provided. It is inaccurate to state would will not take a clients call. We have found 4 different employees over the last 3 weeks who has spoken with this client. These calls include conversations directly with our VP of Operations whom has on multiple occasions attempted her best to assist with the situation. Our customer service representative Zoe has delivered information to at length about the solar system. PE Solar has spoken at length via email and recorded calls regarding these concerns.
Thus far, in September, we have reviewed the solar production month by month since system commissioning in July. While it is difficult to establish an average annual post solar bill based on only two months, we were more than happy to assist. We gathered information from the solar monitoring application to confirm your solar production, and then cross referenced that information with utility bills to determine why the initial two electric bills were higher than hoped.
During these two initial months, we were able to confirm the solar had produced as designed , and confirmed that it met production figures as calculated by the US DEPT OF ENERGY National Renewal Energy Laboratory , NREL and our estimates at time of sale. Once we determined the issue was not on the solar end we looked at household energy consumption year over year to determine if usage was the cause of these higher bills. In 2018 for these two months total usage was 4125 kWh, for the same two months this year when solar was installed the usage totaled 5492 kWh. This is an increase in utility usage year over year of 133%. As explained to client, the solar installed on the home were sized based on historical data and usage patterns as it would be unethical to sell a system bigger that needed. If the energy used from the utility outside of the solar is far greater than previously indicated then the utility bills will rise. Despite this increase the two bills were still dramatically reduced from the year prior. Our paperwork clearly documents, with client's signature right below it, that post solar bills would be higher if usage goes up, as common sense would dictate.
Upon delivering this information to client based on factual data supported by US DEPT of ENERGY thresholds, utility meter data, and solar monitoring app, we recommend giving the system some time to balance out. The solar savings are based on annual projections and while usage in fact saw a considerable increase over the first two summer months, the upcoming winter months may help bring averages down to the numbers expected, thus eliminating the need to from us to sell more panels on two months deviation; saving client money. This information was not received well, despite every attempt to explain it.

Clients reaction was that we undersized the system and that we sold a smaller system that we should have. Even though it is beneficial for us to sell bigger systems, we size them according to usage as it would be immoral for us to build bigger system sizes anticipating increase in usage as it goes against our Green goals. At that point, in a good faith and in an attempt to go above and beyond, we offered the client the opportunity to purchase more panels at far below cost, charging only for materials, a price far below what they would have paid at time of sale. This offer was then met with additional unease from client and disagreeable emails to our employees.
At this point in the process we are happy to help Mr L'Esperance in any manner the Revdex.com sees fair. Our goal to reasonably provide everything our clients need to have a greater experience. Thus far we have provided proof the solar system is producing perfectly, we have analyzed his utility bills, and shown him the factual reasons his utility bills are the amount they are. In good faith we have offered him an amazing below cost solution to his added usage that will achieve his goal based on his new increase in energy usage. As a reminder the solar system is designed for a lifespan of 25 year and under full warranty for this period of time. The savings are projected over this period of time. At the time of this complaint these system has only been operation for 90 days. This is a very small amount of time to access it actual impact.

Customer Response • Sep 18, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
So in response to his email, Rachel *** has not spoke with me on the phone at all, she replied to an email with thanks and I'll get back with you and she passes it off to Zoe who doesn't know the whole situation.

So lets go over some numbers because numbers don't lie.

The solar system was turned on 06/13/2019. To date as of today 9/18/19, the solar system has produced 2690.17 KWH Now from 6/13/19 to today is 97 days.

2690.17 / 97 days = 27.7 KWH per day average

As of today in the month of September the system has produced 499.60 KWH
Again Sept 1-18th is 17 days
499.60/17 = 29.38 average KWH per day

The monitoring feature for my solar was turned on August 21st 2019.

So during the month of August, the 10 days the monitoring was active, the system produced 291.10. So from August 21st - August 31st = 10 days.

So 291.10 / 10 days = 29.11 KWH per day average

I would love to see how the system produced 1030 KWH in the month of August, please show me the proof.

2690.17 - System has produced to date as of Sept 18th 2019
499.60 - Minus what it has produced in the month of September
=2190.57

2190-1030 ( what PE solar says it produced in August) = 1160 KWH the system produced from June 13th - August 1st. That time period is 49 days.

To get PE'S number of 1030 for the month of August, we minus 1030-291.10(what we know it produced by the app) and we get 738.90.

So in 21 days they say the system produced then 738.90. 738.90/21 = 35.18 average KWH per day (doesn't make any sense)*

So the system overproduced and then under produced ????

1160/49 days = 23.67 KWH per day average.

With my calculations 2690 - System has produced to date as of Sept 18th 2019
2690.17 -499.60 ( produced in September ) = 2190.57

2190.57- 291.10( what system produced in 10 days of August ) =1899.47

Take 1899.47 KWH divided by June 13th thru August 20th = 68 days

1899.47 / 68 days = 27.9 average KWH per day.

The averages I have calculated are based upon real data, not numbers they say exist but cant show me. My averages go from 27 KWH - 29 KWH

Now lets talk about my usage at my residence.

The numbers he is referring to is from my August and September bills

August 2018 = 2057KWH (29 days)
August 2019 = 1551 KWH ..... Billing period 06/24/19 thru 07/30/19 (36 days)

September 2018= 2068 (32 days)
September 2019=1421 KWH ....Billing period 07/30/19 thru 08/29/19 (30 days)

So yes in 2018 with August and September we used 4125 KWH

In 2019 I used 2972 KWH and the solar system during that time

On September 1st I took a photo with my Iphone, which is date and time stamped , the system has produced 2203.1 KWH as of 11:39 in the AM.

So from June 13th - Sept 1st it produced 2203.1KWH , this time frame is 80 days.
2203.1 KWH / 80 days = 27.53 AVERAGE KWH per day.

So for my August 2019 Bill 36 days . 36 days x 27.53 KWH per day = 991.08 ( remember this is over 30 days) So 991.08 plus the 1551 KWH from Duke I used = 2542 KWH in 36 days. Take my 2018 bill which was for 29 days and 2057 / 29 days = 70.93 KWH per day I used on Average.

1551 KWH used in August (36 days) / 36 = 43.08 KWH per day.

So in August of 2018 I used 2057 in 29 days. Lets take my current numbers of 43.08 per day 29 days = 1,249.32 KWH in 29 days. Now add in what solar produced for me 27.53(average of what system produces per day) 29 days = 798.37

So lets add what I used from duke and solar in 29 days. (1,249 + 798) = 2047 KWH used in 29 days in 2019. What was my numbers in 2018 .......2057. ALMOST IDENTICAL.

Now lets go to my September bill of 2019. In 2018, I used 2068 in 32 days.
2068 / 32 days = 64.62 KWH average per day.

Now lets see what I used in 2019. I used 1421 KWH in 30 days.
1421 / 30 = 47.36 KWH average per day.

Now lets figure out what solar produced ...... From the photo I took on September 1st 2019 @ 11am, we know the solar system produced 2203.1 KWH, again the time frame is 80 days. So the average again is 27.53 KWH per day that the solar system is producing.

So lets take 30 days times 27.53 = 825.90. which is what solar produced in 30 days.

But im going to take it one step further, lets add two days to match last years billing period of 32 days. So 825.90 plus (27.53*2) = 880.96KWH used in 32 days

Im going to add two days to the 1421 as well, so 1421( what I used in 30 days billed from Duke ) plus (47.36 (average what I use per day) 2) = 1515.72 KWH used in 32 days.

So lets add up what I used and what solar produced for my September Bill,
1515.72 plus 880.96 = 2396.68 KWH I used in 32 days.

What did I use in 2018 , 2068, Whats the difference (2396-2068) = 328 KWH difference.

I will even add the higher rate for DUKE 328 KWH .13957= $45.77, So yes my bill should have been higher in the month for September due to my usage.

So with my August Bill and September bill I used in 2019 (2047 + 2396 ) = 4443 KWH , NOT SURE WHERE YOU ARE COMING UP WITH YOUR 5492 number, that makes no SENSE and is in LEFT FIELD. In 2018 between August and September I used 4125 KWH, (4443- 4125 ) = 318 KWH increase. So between the two months 318/2 = 159 KWH extra per month.

These numbers are all coming from actual data I can prove and data that is represented from Duke Energy and from the Solar App.

Now lets talk about the solar producing correctly,

If the solar average produced daily was 27 KWH per day = 365 days that would be 9855 KWH

If the solar average produced daily was 28 KWH per day = 365 days that would be 10,220 KWH

If the solar average produced daily was 29 KWH per day = 365 days that would be 10,585 KWH.

So PE quoted me and said that my solar system would 100% produce 8678 KWH per day. They estimated the system would produce 9875 KWH per year.

Go again with my last years numbers :

May 2018- Used 1197KWH.....SOLAR IN GREEN will only produce (1098)
June 2018- Used 1921KWH..... SOLAR IN GREEN will only produce (971)
July2018- Used 2089 .......SOLAR IN GREEN will only produce(984)
August -Used 2057......... SOLAR IN GREEN will only produce(914)
September- Used 2068...... SOLAR IN GREEN will only produce(832)
October-Used 1862........ SOLAR IN GREEN will only produce(853)
November-Used 1364..... SOLAR IN GREEN will only produce(716)
December-Used 928........ SOLAR IN GREEN will only produce(607)
January 2019-Used 1032 SOLAR IN GREEN will only produce(682)

Total those numbers up in which I would have to pay for and it would be 6,861 KWH.

Total Use 14,518 in 9 months.......System Produces 7657 in same 9 months = 6861 KWH I would have to pay for that's 762 KWH per month in those 9 months, which is no where close to the $25 a month

This system clearly is undersized. If I used last year 14,518 KWH in 9 months why would they build me a system nor sell me a system that only will produce a guaranteed production of 8678 a YEAR not even 9 months( again I have all the documents to back this up) . So if we estimate that during Feburary, March and April, I use 900 KWH each month that's 2700 KWH plus the 14,518 I already used. And 900 a month is being conservative. So lets add these together 17,281 yearly KWH usage. So if I am using 17,000 plus KWH per year and I have solar that off sets that production by 9000 KWH ( I rounded up to help their numbers ) that's 8,000 KWH that I have to pay for . 8,000 / 12 months = 666.66 KWH per month I would have to pay for. 666.66 .13957 = $93.04 a month average bill with the current setup.

Now if I had a system that produced 14,000 KWH and I am using 17,000 KWH per year. That leaves 3000 KWH for me to pay for. 3000 KWH / 12 months = 250 KWH average to pay for per month.

250 KWH @(.13957) duke's high rate = $34.00 a month average

So as you can see I need an even bigger system

Now if I had a system that produced 14,500 KWH and I am using 17,000 KWH per year. That leaves 2500 KWH for me to pay for. 2500 KWH / 12 months = 208.33 KWH average to pay for per month.

208 KWH @(.13957) duke's high rate = $29.03 a month average
@ Dukes Normal Rate under 1000KWH (.11331) = 208 *.11331 = $23.56 average bill a month.

If you would like to sit down with the Revdex.com and I , I would be more then glad. I think I explained it all better in this message. I have also attached copies of what they estimated production to be and copies of my contact with my bill amount.

Thank you

Customer Response • Sep 20, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Unfortunately Pure Energy is not owning up to their clam and what the contract stated. All I have to say is Pure Energy can not build a system with numbers they don't have the proof behind. They don't know if my hot water heater before was efficient or not. They don't have what energy the hot water heater used last year. They don't have what energy was used due to less insulation. They don't know numbers on what my old pool pump used. They are factoring in numbers that quite frankly don't exist from my house. The only numbers that truly exist are the numbers I used last year. My only solution to this matter is to sit down with the Revdex.com and a mediator. Let the person who can examine all of the facts and is Netural to the situation determine what's truly going on. I have detailed all of my facts to the case. I am confident given the facts it will show the fact they undersized the system

Pure Energy Group Response • Sep 20, 2019

Once again, we will defend ourselves with fact and supporting data. These claims and 100% meritless and disparaging to our wonderful program.
Pure Energy does in fact know the energy usage from the previous water heater, pool pump and related insulation savings. We are professionals in this field and have contracted 90+ million dollars of project of identical nature to Mr L'Esperance. We have thousands upon thousands of happy customers that do not share his negative sentiment and unwellness to accept factual data. The equipment was standard in his home and came with annual energy ratings from the dept of energy. There was no guess work here as the customer seems to believe. Our numbers were based on fact and government supported data.
We have attached the image of Mr L'Esperance;s water heater. This show the government label in yellow stating the $573 in annual usage and the 4773 in kWh it used. Zero guess work here. As you will see from the manufacture rating on the previously attached hybrid water heater spec sheet, he was the perfect match for that energy saving product. Hos before usage was over 3,000 kWH higher than the device we replaced it with.
The customer previous pool pump was a single speed unit. These operate between 1.5-2kWh per hour. The new pump is capable of using 1/7th this amount of energy. Again a perfect match.
In conclusion, we refer to our previous responses. This back and forth is not based on any fact from Mr L'Esperance. We are trying to communicate based solely on fact. Sadly, this is not being effective. Our next response will be to copy the last 2 as they are all encompassing of our stance. We have nothing else to offer but fact.

We participated in the model home program. The company offered us a great deal on our package, including several free products and services to improve the efficiency of our home. The people we dealt with in both Orlando and Arizona were both professional and friendly. Our questions were answered in a timely fashion, and they were very patient when our roofing company was delayed in installing the new roof, thus stalling the solar I stallion process. Thank you PE Solar for your excellent product and service.

PE Solar was very responsive to my inquiries and worked with us on our preferred layout for the solar panels. They ensured that installation of our insulation, water heater, pool pump, and solar panels went according to plan. I can't wait to get my first new electric bill after having the panels!

This was one of the best experiences we have had with contractors and sale staff. The staff has been great from the start. We are extremely satisified. Bill and Maritza have been very responsive to all our questions. The installers were very professional and every appointment was kept as promised. I would recommend PE Solar without reservation

I have been so pleased with PE Solar. I worked mostly with Maritza and was thoroughly pleased with her level of communication. She kept me informed every step of the way. I'd suggest PE Solar for your solar needs!

Pure Energy was outstanding from the beginning of the process to installation of the solar panels. The representatives were all very professional and helpful. I will honestly recommend Pure Energy to everyone who is in the market for solar.

Pure Energy was great to work with....I love their wholistic approach and customer service was A+, I definitely recommend!

Pure energy has been the best. From the moment they knocked on the door all the way through installation, they have made this the easiest and best decision I have ever made. They have had answers to every question and been on top of ever step along the way. You won't be disappointed.

Pure Energy was great to work with. They were very responsive in communications by email/text/phone throughout my install process and I never wondered what the next steps were going to be. I was hesitant to get into solar based on hearing some bad customer service stories from other companies and I'm happy to say none of that was the case with Pure Energy.

Pure energy has been great to work with! The staff is friendly and quick to answer any questions. The permitting took the longest, but still completed in a timely manner. Installation staff were friendly and happy to show me the install process. Now that the system is activated we sit back and enjoy our clean energy system!

Other then the permitting which took awhile and was not there fault. My experience with Pure Energy was very good. The solar panel install took one day and the next day they had all of the wiring installed and ready for inspection which past without issue. A week after they started I'm up and running and looking forward to cutting my electric bill down to almost zero.

Pure Energy Staff and contractors were professional and respectful of our home and time. The conversion process was smooth and financially affordable. Customer service was courteous, reliable, dependable, and knowledgeable. We are excited about the solar energy system, monetary savings, and our contribution to the environment.

I had their solar system installed on my building recently. I am very satisfied with the workmanship of the installation and the quality of the product. The process to complete the system setup was satisfactory and I'm excited to be using solar energy.
