We purchased a new RHEEM air conditioner from Pure Air years ago, (a unit which they recommended), and the copper coil leaked and froze unitThey came in and used our hair dryer to thaw it We were quoted $900+ to replace coil We had a 3-year maintenance contract but Pure Air never once came to maintain Unit as promisedThe president *** C*** told my husband that he was giving us a discounted quote as the coil was recalled by Rheem and will be 'free' to us So the next day I called to get a breakdown of the costs to try to understand WHY so much on a unit still under warranty and a defected 'recalled' coil He called back and was truly 'billigerent'; a very angry man with no empathy or manners He yelled at me with a disrespectful tone and talked AT me like I was his problem When I explained I only wanted to know the hourly rate for labor, he replied "Who are you, my business partner?" On or about July 2017, I contracted Pur Air for one year of a/c maitenance and service
Company failed to perform the semi annual servicing, as per our agreement
Unfortunately, in September of 2017, a new a/c unit was required However, servicing of the return filters and other routine checks had fialed to be performed
During the ttime of the new unit installation, installers quit midway through the process, resulting in the attempted temporary installation of a window unitThe worker's did such a poor job on the install that the customer had to complete the job, which elted in the loss of a tooth
It was a pleasant experience doing business with a company who did what they said they would doThe work quality was outstanding and they cleaned the work area when doneI would recommend Pure Air to anyone looking for quality work and the system they installed works efficiently

On 11/08/I had purchased heating/air conditioning service installed to replace old unit Pure Air Conditioning of Naples Florida was dealer Included in the purchase was three year/one visit per year/one system maintenance plan On one year anniversary Pure Air called me to schedule first visit We agreed on date and time (hour window) After the end of hour window I had not heard from company regarding visit I called and they said they were running late (no apology) I told them I wanted to reschedule We again rescheduled with hour window Again the window expired and no contact from company I called and they said they were running late and would arrive in about hour Technician arrived and performed maintenance and informed me that upon installation they had system set up as "heat pump" and not air conditioningHe corrected I then went on Angie's list and gave company an 'F' rating for service

A permit was never pulled for the installation of the air conditioning system and the company will not fix what is wrong with it to get it permitted
This air conditioning unit was installed in along with a replacement of the HVAC The unit started having an excessive amount of condensation build up resulting in droplets dripping from underneath the HVAC into the drip pan A service technician (Novie) came out for the yearly service on 7/11/and I questioned him about the issue He stated that the unit was running fine My brother, who now runs an air conditioning company came by the house later that day and I asked him about it My brother looked at the HVAC and stated, "There's no way a permit was pulled for this or you had an inspector that didn't care because there are numerous code violations here." I then contacted the Lee county permit office on 7/12/and inquired if a permit had been pulled and a permit was not found I contacted Pure Air on 7/12/and advised

The a/c unit for my condo stopped working, so I contacted Pure Air, as I've used them in the past, and was able to get a technician to visit my home very quickly The technician was professional and extremely helpful in offering me the different options available to repair or replace the unit I chose to the replace the entire unit based on the age of the existing unit, and Mike was prompt in providing an estimate for the costThe a/c unit and air handler were replaced the next day The installers arrived at AM as expected and the work was completed in less than hours They were very polite and knowledgeableTarps were put down from the outside door into the utility room to protect the floor and for easy cleanupThe new system is very quiet and efficient It maintains the temperature to the thermostat setting without overruns I am extremely pleased with the unit and the service received from Mike and his team, and would not hesitate to hire them again

We have been using Pure Air for our heating and cooling system in the house for the past seven years each and every time we had the finest and courteous service from them we are very thankful for that Today we had Mr Andy as our Tech.he did an outstanding job
I wish there was a no star choice on this page! Called Pure Air after doing some research seeing their reviews and deciding not to use [redacted] this time. I already knew the ignitor was bad and told the technican the minute he arrived 15 minutes later he was done. To my shock I get handed a bill for $265. I agreed to the $95 visit fee on the phone but 170 dollars to replace a ignitor and 15 minutes of labor cannot be $170! I then speak to the office and the owner and I get told about that even though it took 15 minutes the extra 15 minutes to speak to their office is what I got billed for which is even more ridiculous. Then on top the owner starts telling me about this business operating expenses and that is the reason my bill is 265 dollars. Customers beware and be extremely careful about their overblown costs and having to hear about how the cost of health insurance and gas and business is causing them to overcharge customers. Also got told how the time from Morton Grove to Glenview is costly which is about a 6 minute right from golf and [redacted] to my house. I was going to ask for a quote on a furnace and of course refer business if things went well but they did not. While I understand the costs of doing business I also know that being fair about charging for services as part of business.
I will not be calling them back nor would I recommend anyone else before calling around and comparing their costs and services to other providers. If I have to pay for someones travel time rather do it with someone who is fair on costs. Also their office is about 3 minutes away from my home and it still costs me a lot more then it should have for 15 minutes of work.
