I bought my baby from Ms. Debbie In 2016. He was 2.5 months old. A yorkie/Chihuahua mix. Debbie is extremely sensitive about her puppies and treats them very well. She gave my baby all of his required shots before I bought him, and even let me come back months afterwards to continue to give him his puppy shots. She’s very careful with who she chooses to allow to purchase her puppies and once you do, she wants you to send pictures of them periodically. The reason I was even able to get my puppy (on such short notice) is because someone bought him and had a toddler who couldn’t handle him properly, so Debbie allowed her to return him. I highly recommend getting your fur babies from Debbie because she really cares about them, their well being and makes every effort to make sure that they are going to good homes. Anyone else who says anything different is most likely making it up. My baby is now 3 years old, healthy as can be, sweet and absolute cutie. I will definitely go to debbie whenever I want to add another pup to my family.
My name is Lakeesha Roberts I bought a puppy from Debbie Newsom in April of this year. I saw an add on the internet advertising small puppies. Debbie sent me pictures of a few babies. I picked the one I wanted and Debbie said that she would bring him to my house but he still needed to see the vet and it would be a week before I could get him. Debbie deliverd him late one afternoon and I fell in love right away. Two weeks after I had him he got sick. He started coughing, sneezing and had goopy eyes. I took him to the vet and found out that he had distemper. The vet said he probably did not get his shots. When I asked Debbie to help with the $680.00 vet bill she got really upset and said that's not something she does. She told me if the my puupy got sick I should have brought him back to her for her vet to see. I tried to reason with her that I was under no obligation to use her or her vet for my dog and that it was her fault that my baby had distemper. She said that there wan't anything she would do. I only wish that the other puppylovememphis website had been available before I gave Debbie my $1200.00 cash for the baby dog.
Debbie Newsom, Byhalia, MS runs a puppy mill, DBA Puppy Love Memphis. She has approx 40 - 50 female dogs that she breed each and every time they come into heat. She has no regard for the dog's well being only the money she makes from selling the puppies.
She is very dodgy, only accepting cash which should be a huge red flag to most people. She is not a licensed breeder according to the State of Mississippi. She sells an average of 75 dogs per year at an average price of $1500.00...you do the math and consider the toll on the poor mother dogs.
Dogs are more than piggy banks
Dogs infected with Giardia.Purchased dogs on 10-3-13 after 4:30 p.m smaller dog had threw up but the breeder [redacted] assured me that it was car sick. She said they needed their shots and she gave them it. My vet said that that probably stressed them. The owner was in a hurry to drop off another dog so she quickly gave me paper work and said sign this which was the contract. She only accepted cash so I gave her $1500.00. She explained that she normally give buyers 72 hrs to see a vet because most want to play with the dogs a day or so & then return them but that the 72 hrs did not apply to me. On 10-7-13 the dogs had diarrhea but still active on 10-8-13 I rushed them to the vet hospital where they tested positive for Giardia the vet said that Giardia has an incubation period of 7-10 days & that the dogs were infected before I purchased them. One dog was given meds & sent home the other was near death & had to stay overnight. I immediately told the breeder [redacted] the dogs condition & she started to discredit the vets & deny the illness they had. [redacted] even spoke with the vet over the phone while I was at the hospital & she just didn't want to believe that she gave the dogs contaminated water. The next day a different vet concurred with the first vets diagnosis. I mentioned to the breeder [redacted] our conversation the day I bought the dogs & told her I was not happy that she sold me sick dogs & was uncomfortable with keeping the dogs I wanted my money back & That she the breeder should pay for the vet bill because the dogs were infected in her care. [redacted] said that she would not pay the vet fees that I should have called her & she could have taken them to her vet where they could negotiate the fees. The smaller dog being gravely sick did not have much time he needed immediate care. The vet said if I had brought him in 10-15 minutes later he would have died. We had not owned the dogs for more than 4 days and then their signs of sickness showed up. [redacted] is now saying that her contract says I have 48 hrs, however she verbally changed that when she said that the hours did not apply to me. I felt I could trust her & that I called her back in a reasonable amount of time less than a week. So because of the vets confirmation [redacted] sold me sick dogs and I want my money back in cash plus vet fees because the illness started at her facilities.Desired SettlementI want a full refund of $1500.00 & the cost of vet bills $789.91.
