I am so glad that I was able to have this experience, I ran into no problems and I was very blessed to have two great teachers.
I signed up for Graphic Arts classes...no indication of system required. I was unable to take the classes. The refund is not acceptable. Before the classes began , I received a call from ProTrain asking me what system I used. I told them CS5 and was told, we'll send you CS^ and you can download the free trails. When the first class began I was unable to follow along with the older version, I purchased an additional book and was still unable to follow along. I was unable to download the illustrator free version. I contacted Protrain and was [redacted] contacted me ...I told him the error message I got. I did not hear back from him. After several emails to him and [redacted] and no response I called an d spoke with [redacted] She then put me in touch with [redacted] again. I again told him the problem and he 1. related it was my job to find out what systems they used. When I explained I told them it was CS5 they said I could use CS6 and he advised that I should not have been told that. In the meantime I received the Photoshop materials. At this point I was told of the 4 classes I registered for I would receive refund for two (total cost 1895. 473.75 per class) I protested and they agreed to give me three. Now it is 3 less the cost of one book. I have an email where I was told they did not want the books back. I had to purchase additional books at my cost from Amazon. I now would like the full cost of the class refunded to me. $1895.00 as it was their neglect and misinformation in telling me my CS5 would work. I have been fair and patient and initially only asked for the 3 classes since I attempted to log in for the first class. They have made the act of being fair into a major hassle for me and now want to deduct for a book they said they did'nt want back. I would like a full refund!Desired Settlement$1895.00Business Response /[redacted]/Contact Name and Title: [redacted]Contact Phone: XXXXXXXXXXContact Email: [redacted]@protrainedu.orgPlease see attached document for ProTrain response. Thank you.Consumer Response /[redacted]/I received your comments to the Revdex.com and am in no way satisfied...no where do you show the email(attached ) that states you do not want the CS5 book returned. As such I did not return it and was debited for the cost.[redacted],We pulled the logs from the course and you did not access the Photoshop course so that will be refunded to you as well. We have not asked you to return the books. Your refund will be issued via check.Thank you,[redacted]I will also forward you the entire list of emails between us. It is a complete fabrication that I was told CS5 would not work and I agreed to the classes anyways. The correct scenario is that I was asked what I was using and I relied CS5 and was told ok we'll send you CS6. If you choose not to give me the entire refund...I will take this to the CFPA. I will also forward a copy of this to the Revdex.com> [redacted] HR DirectorFinal Business Response /[redacted]/Please see attached PDF response.
