Review: Signed contract for work to be done. Gave $500.00 deposit and the rest was to be taken out if escrow since I was selling my house at the time. Protek sent me invoice after work was done for amount agreed minus $500.00 for work. After my house closed protek sent escrow an invoice $476.45 over what signed contract stated. There was no commuication between me and protek that the job was more what was agreed. Called protek and they stated that there was more labor involved. This was never discussed with me. It even states in protek contract "in the event that additional remediation work are needed or addition work is requested or identified, a supplemental estimate or change order will be provided to you for final approval." I never received any request for more money nor did I sign anything approving that more work and money was needed from original contractDesired Settlement: I would like to be refunded my money that I did not agree to pay. I feel that it was very sneaky to charge escrow more money than invoice mailed after work was completed and signed contract to me stated. I would say this is stealing!

Response:
We believe that this was a misunderstanding due to time constraints and the escrow having to close as soon as possible. [redacted]'s response and approval is attached. She was aware that there were 2 estimates given. One for Mold Remediation and one for small Repair. On May 31st, [redacted] received a call from [redacted] requesting the repair to be complete that same day by 1pm, because the new buyers were coming to do a walk through. And the repair had to be done. [redacted] went himself and installed the drywall that morning. [redacted] met the new owners real estate agent. It was a concrete wall that needed the drywall glued on which needed to dry. [redacted] called [redacted] and explained that we would finish the tape and texture the following day, June 1st. We did this. [redacted] spoke with [redacted] this last Friday reminding her of their telephone conversations regarding the need for repair to be done as quickly as possible. She did remember and said she would remove this complaint.
