I purchased a projector from this company that was listed at an unbelievable price, I simply had to pay shipping. The company cancelled my order, with no explanation and have refused to answer any forms of contact. I am frustrated as this order was confirmed, and I was expecting this product. Had the order never been completed and confirmed I would understand, as it may have been a mistake, but it is frustrating to me that this company is willing to back out of a completed and confirmed sale with no explanation, and that they will not return any calls.
Attached is a copy of my confirmation of the order. Please let me know if anything else is needed. Thank you.
The order in our system was for a product that can't be purchased online and has been discontinued for months now. Its a product that is no longer available. Somehow the end user was able to process a shipping charge of 19.00 which was credited to his account the same day. We don't give away $33,000.00 projectors for free and this should be common sense. I find this complaint to be an attempt to get something for nothing and trying to use the Revdex.com and scare tactics. We have many products on our website that have no price because you have to "call for pricing" and are not sold online. This complaint has no merit and I am surprised that the Revdex.com would even ask us to respond to a silly complaint!
The order was never "confirmed" nor is it a valid order. This product on this order is not for sale on our website, you have to get a written quote to purchase this product, AND PAY FOR THAT PRODUCT IN FULL, NOT FREE. The person that ordered this payed 19.00 for shipping which was credited to their account and closed. This is a web site error and no contract of any kind or "confirmation" was given. We would be happy to send the consumer a formal quote for a projector at any time, but not for 0.00. The customer did not pay for any projector with our company. We believe that a normal person of sound mind would know that we don't sell 33,000.00 projectors for 0.00 and this is starting to sound like extortion.
04/07/14 we made a purchase of $2460 with Protech via our credit card. On 04/21/17 we received a fraud alert and our purchase with Protech was listed as unauthorized. This charge was valid, however the credit card was closed and new one was issued. Rod (from Protech) called letting us know the payment to him had been reversed and that he needed a new payment and an additional $20 reprocessing fee. We provided the new credit card information and the charge appeared on our credit card statement for April. Our May statement listed the original charge backdated to 04/07/18. On 06/16/17 I emailed Rod to inform him of the duplicate charge. On 06/19/17 he responded, letting me know that he had notified PayPal of the duplicate charge and would inform me as soon as PayPal issued credit. We have contacted our credit card company and there is no record of this duplicate charge being reversed. Despite several emails and phone calls Protech still has not issued a credit for the duplicate charge.
We where given a chargeback notice from our merchant Paypal on this order a year ago which we provided the equipment for. We responded to the chargeback notice to Paypal immediately since we should have not received the chargeback for equipment shipped. Once in chargeback mode, we have no control over credits or debts on our account from Paypal our merchant. The company instead of claiming a chargeback should have just called us directly so we could have solved the matter directly which was over a year ago. Instead they filed a chargeback for a fraud claim which wasn't fraud. Once you file a chargeback its out of our hands and up to the end users credit card company to credit the cardholder. We have no control over the credit card company or our merchant services provider. The credit card company should have pulled the funds against the chargeback and thats who the end user needs to contact regarding this matter.
My agency had filed a complaint against a company. We were double billed and requested a refund. At first the vendor refused. We received the refund last week.
