ProRestore Services has not provided a final itemized receipt for prepaid services completed nor given requested compensation to finalize separation.
ProRestore was contracted in May 2019 to perform residual water and mold remediation, some home deconstruction and rebuild. In November 2019, ProRestore Services formally resigned its services, with approximately 50% of the work left unfinished. I accepted the company's resignation with the understanding that all pre-paid, unfinished work would be completed; all missing furniture or personal items previously stored by their sub-contracted company, BC Movers, would be returned or replaced through compensation; and a final receipt for the total payment made in the amount of $24,124.46 would be provided. As of today, following multiple requests, none of these things have occurred.
First, I am requesting a final receipt for total payment that has already been provided in the amount of $24,124.46 for partial services completed. The receipt should be on company letterhead and signed and dated by an authorized company representative. Second, I am requesting the return or reasonable compensation for replacement of the following items: one cream-colored ottoman, one new gold-colored floor rug, one cherry wood globe stand, and two 2-pack lighted planterns (from ***). Third, I am requesting compensation in the amount of $360 to hire a moving and reassembly company for the minimum time required, to move items that were prematurely packed back into my home on September 12, 2019, before the required flooring and remaining re-build work was completed.

Sorry for this delayed response. Since this is a legal matter now, I will be vague. Prorestore was never requested to submit a duplicated reciept, therefore did not. Prorestore has submitted such receipt after seeing this complaint.
Prorestore did resign from the completion of this work based on; Prorestore completed approximately $71,679 worth of agreed upon work and only received payment for $24,124.46. However payment was negotiated w/ Insurance carrier. (Total $102K)
The Pack-out and Packed-back (moving company) was a 3rd party vendor that has tried to contact Ms. to rectify. To eliminate the risk of a lien to client Property, Prorestore Settled payment with 3rd Party.
I hope in the coming months we can agree on remaining value owed to Prorestore Services. As always I'm available to discuss.

The response from ProRestore is simply not accurate or completely truthful.
First, there is currently no lawsuit filed involving this complaint.
Second, no receipt was ever received for the multiple payments made to ProRestore. Instead, only following my request and complaint was an invoice with new and/or overinflated charges sent from ProRestore as a threat, requesting additional funds for services not rendered or agreed to.
Third, In March, I contacted the owner of BC Moving directly and a settlement is being considered for only lost and damaged items. ProRestore may have previously notified BC Moving of my formal complaint but has had no involvement in my discussions with BC Movning.
ProRestore accepted and bore the responsbility for complete project management and was solely negligent in ordering the pre-mature return of household items and avoiding air vent cleaning prior to the company's resignation, despite my repeated objections/requests to the contrary.
In conclusion, as of today's date, nothing that was requested of Pro-Restore in my original complaint has yet been received or resolved.
Prorestore will not Pursue Customer as promised for Reconstruction work. However Prorestore will continue seeking payment for Water Services (Demolition). Prorestore will not provide any additional compensation to assemble any additional furniture. The Move-in was accepted prior to Prorestore resigning from the project.

At the very minimum the requested receipt could/should have been provided months ago. However, as of today, none has been received but is still being requested.
Despite obvious payments being issued by my insurance company for services, requested requirements were noticeably shortcut, neglected and/or refused. These are not the actions of a trustworthy company. I simply will not in good conscience recommend.
