***/2018Silver Leaf Villas RE: Revdex.com Complaint Case # ***Mrs*** received a renewal notice from the office staff at Silver Leaf Villas on ***/2017.The renewal notice states that their lease ends on ***/2018. It did include their renewal rate and what the cost of their home
would be if their lease were to go “month to month”. It also includes a reminder that a day notice is required and a second reminder for the cost of their apartment if their lease was not renewed by ***/2018. To date, no other tenants have come in stating that they did not receive a renewal notice. After reviewing Mrs***’s statement I did find some discrepancies. It was impossible for her husband to speak with the Manager in the office on December 8th because the Manager, *** ***s, was in Charleston, South Carolina for training from December 6th through the 9th. I, *** ***, have responded to Mrs***’s voicemails several times as well as responding to her by email as requested.At this time, we have not found an error in our delivery method, and respectfully decline the ***’s request to allow their lease to expire at the end of January without fees or penalties. They submitted a written day notice ending on *** **th, 2018. They will owe market rent, plus MTM fees through that date. We can attempt to lease their apartment to another tenant prior to their notice date of *** **th if the ***’s request us to. If we were able to find a qualified applicant, we would stop charging the ***’s rent and fees as of the new tenants move in date. The apartment would need to be vacant as of an agreed upon date, so that we could prepare it for the tenant. We cannot guarantee that we would be able to pre-lease the apartment prior to *** **th, but we would make every effort to do so.Please let us know if this offer meets your needs.
