(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I would like to note that I contacted Professional Warehouse PRIOR to picking up the furniture as I wanted to confirm that the warranty which I was advised of at the time of sale was in fact validProfessional Warehouse advised that I would have no issues whatsoever should something go wrong with the productThey confirmed that the product included the one year mfgwarranty and should an issue arise, they would simply handle the warranty claim (I specifically asked about this)I would also like to note that never at any time during my conversation with them did they advise that the claim would need to be done through someone else or that they would have to forward me to another companyInfact it was quite opposite of that, they stated they would order the parts, take care of the issue and basically handle the claimBy the end of the call, I was comfortable going through with the sale and we picked up the furnitureFast forward a few months after purchase, Professional Warehouse did try to handle the claims as they originally statedIt was only after they became frustrated with Holland House did they try washing their hands of the situationBasically he stated that he was getting the run around from Holland House and advised me to contact Holland House directlyI would also like to note that when I contacted him in January or February with the first issue, he again confirmed that the product was covered under warranty (which I have noted)Professional Warehouse only claimed not to be involved when Holland House was giving them the runaround and he then referred me to them In addressing being offered a new chair, I was infact offered a new chair however I declined as it did not cover all product which was having defect issues (IF IT WAS I WOULD HAVE GLADLY ACCEPTED)The fact is Professional Warehouse made money on this as well, they are aware of the situation and they themselves never offered any sort of compensationWhile I understand they did not manufacturer the product, they did infact have no issues with receiving payment for the product which they confirmed was under warranty, yet refuse to stand behindWe on the other hand are left with product that has screws falling out, foot rests that are leaning, fabric that is peeling, a chair that is knocking on the right side, and the list goes on and onI would also like to add we have never had any animals in our house and have a four and six year old boyWe spent half our summer up north at a cabin, my point: this product has minimal wear and tear based on the family situation, yet it fails over and over to stand upProfessional Warehouse should in fact be held responsible on this complaint, they sold it the product, they confirmed the warranty (on several occasions), yet now they claim not to be involved

Warehouse advised that I would have no issues whatsoever should something go wrong with the product. They confirmed that the product included the one year mfg. warranty and should an issue arise, they would simply handle the warranty claim (I specifically asked about this). I would also like to note that never at any time during my conversation with them did they advise that the claim would need to be done through someone else or that they would have to forward me to another company. Infact it was quite opposite of that, they stated they would order the parts, take care of the issue and basically handle the claim. By the end of the call, I was comfortable going through with the sale and we picked up the furniture. Fast forward a few months after purchase, Professional Warehouse did try to handle the claims as they originally stated. It was only after they became frustrated with Holland House did they try washing their hands of the situation. Basically he stated that he was getting the run around from Holland House and advised me to contact Holland House directly. I would also like to note that when I contacted him in January or February with the first issue, he again confirmed that the product was covered under warranty (which I have noted). Professional Warehouse only claimed not to be involved when Holland House was giving them the runaround and he then referred me to them.
In addressing being offered a new chair, I was infact offered a new chair however I declined as it did not cover all product which was having defect issues (IF IT WAS I WOULD HAVE GLADLY ACCEPTED). The fact is Professional Warehouse made money on this as well, they are aware of the situation and they themselves never offered any sort of compensation. While I understand they did not manufacturer the product, they did infact have no issues with receiving payment for the product which they confirmed was under warranty, yet refuse to stand behind. We on the other hand are left with product that has screws falling out, foot rests that are leaning, fabric that is peeling, a chair that is knocking on the right side, and the list goes on and on. I would also like to add we have never had any animals in our house and have a four and six year old boy. We spent half our summer up north at a cabin, my point: this product has minimal wear and tear based on the normal family situation, yet it fails over and over to stand up. Professional Warehouse should in fact be held responsible on this complaint, they sold it the product, they confirmed the warranty (on several occasions), yet now they claim not to be involved.
We are Professional Warehouse and we warehouse furniture from different manufacturers. We in turn sell and ship the furniture to the stores. We are not the manufacturer and we do not have warranties on furniture, nor do we offer or sell warranties. That is up to the buyer/store. Ms. [redacted] purchased her furniture from a store that was going out of business. Most going out of business sales are an "as is" purchase. Professional Warehouse had nothing to do with that sale except shipping the furniture. At some point Ms. [redacted] was offered a new piece of furniture from Professional Warehouse to replace her piece that she states did not hold up. Ms [redacted] refused the offer. Since Professional Warehouse has no obligation to Ms [redacted], we steered her to the manufacturer. What happened after that, is out of our hands. The name Professional Warehouse should not have been in this complaint. We have zero to do with this. Thank you!!
