He wants extra work done, which is not in the original contract of $89k.
I request you to go by the facts with the signed document presented, he is being unreasonable and trying to take advantage of us.
Please resolve this in our favor as soon as possible, as we have competed all the requirements as per our contract.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding,

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
My name is [redacted] [redacted],
last February; we bought our first house located at
[redacted], Reston, VA.
We have mortgage through [redacted]
bank. We hired Professional remodeling group LLC (PRG) to renovate our house on
June 19th, 2013. They promised us to complete renovation project in
12 weeks. Total cost of the renovation was for $89,000.00, with the agreement
that $35,000.00 credit from [redacted] card ([redacted]) to
be paid at the final walk through.
Without
completing the project or notifying us, PRG took the final $35,000.00 from the credit card without our approval in
December 2013, NO Final walk-through was done. We opened dispute with WFC as
soon we learned about it in January 2014. PRG came to us in March 2014, pleaded
and promised us that they will finish pending work in 2 weeks, pleaded with us
saying that they will be ruined, if we don’t sign the release papers from WFC. We
signed the WFC release papers in March 2014 trusting them. This is the document
they provided Revdex.com as proof now. Please note that they said, work was completed (final walk-thru) in December 2013. We signed this in March 2014 (back dated), can be verified with WFC.
So far 19 months have gone by and PRG has not completed our work. He is no longer answering our calls or emails. We do not have all permits for the work they have done on the house and are not providing us all the permits per contract.
I am attaching all the paper work and pictures to show that the work was not
yet completed. We sincerely request your help in this matter.
Please ask them to produce all the permits taken on the house (Which they had to according to the contract) . He has some permits for the basement but not for the main floor and 2nd floor work. He has remodeled kitchen, powder room, load bearing change in main floor and 2 full bath rooms on 2nd floor. We do not have permits for electric, plumbing, gas and structural modifications for the main and 2nd floors. He also was supposed to portico/small deck in front of the house and there is no permit yet.
Following are attached to this letter:
1) Copy
of the contract.
2) Addendum - List
of things he promised to complete (signed on contract date)
3) Pending
items list
4) Picture
proof to show that work has not been completed yet.
5) Email proof to show that they were not yet done with final inspection till 08/21/2014 (If they were done in December 2013, as they say, why were they sending me email about final inspection).
Regards,
[redacted]
