Review: I received a letter from this company stating I owed money on a car I filed a Chp. 13 bankruptcy on. In July 2010 I traded said car in to a dealership and have not heard from the finance company whom the car was financed through since the bankruptcy. I called this company inquiring about the debt and they insisted I still owed money on the car. I then called the dealership and they informed me that they have the title for the car because it was paid off through bankruptcy. I then called this company back and told them the dealership has the title and they asked for my lawyer's information which I refused to give. I told them to get in touch with the dealership and again explained that the dealership had the title and asked them how could I owe a debt and the dealership has the title but to no avail. I spoke with two men regarding my complaint (one was a manager) and each of them were rude, obnoxious, and unwilling to listen to what I had to stay. They were insistent upon getting money for a car that has been paid for through Chapter 13. The finance company and the this company failed to realize that this car was paid for under a Chapter 13 bankruptcy which has to be illegal harassing people for a matter that has been resolved for years.Desired Settlement: I am a student in my last semester of school and this experience upset me deeply. I plan on taking further legal action to the fullest extent of the law because this took away from valuable time I need to complete tasks for school. Time is critical for me and I have to use it wisely and don't have time to argue with a company who does not have their facts straight.

Review: I have been getting calls from this company for a long time. Have repeatedly asked to be put on no call list as this is the wrong number , I am not the person they are looking for. Have been told rudely many times they will fix it or just hung up on before finished. The response is always the same when I contact the company, its not us, weve only been calling a little while,we will take care of it, etc ... I have no doubt in my mind the response will be one of these tired responses used many times in the past. It seems to be effective however... they still have an a+ rating with your company so Im probably wasting my time here too. Oh well. I feel terrible for anyone who actually owes money to one of this companys accts.Desired Settlement: I would like to hear back from someone in upper management. The people I have talked to have been rude so far calling me back minutes after getting off the phone with them and laughing in the latest instance. Their employees seem to be acting anyway they want.

Review: I continue to get phone calls in regards to a debt that I paid off back on 2/28/2014. The company I paid to settle sent a confirmation email that the account was closed and clear. Today I received a call from Professional Buerau of Collections at my place of business, the person calling me identified herself and her reason for the call. I immediately explained it was paid and they cannot call my work. She wouldn't let me even speak. I ended the call and sent a cease and desist letter to them.Desired Settlement: The calls need to stop.

Review: I was contacted by Profession Bureau of Collections while my internship and I wasn't even the correct person they were trying to contact. This is VERY embarrassing. The scary part is, I am in no affiliated with this company publicly so I am not sure how this company associated me with my internship and knew when when I would be there. If they choose to contact someone at their place of business, they need to be 100% certain they are contacting the correct person. This is company acted unethically and needs to operate with better business practices.Desired Settlement: Professional Bureau of Collections of Maryland should show some professionalism by doing more research on the person they are trying to contact.

Review: This is my formal complaint regarding PBC Corp & [redacted], an employee of the company.

[redacted] called me and my husband regarding a bill that had been

placed with their company.

I

1.Harassment[redacted] called even though there had been a payment arrangement made. [redacted] advised

her

supervisor told her to call us.

2. [redacted] called my husband [redacted]'s cell phone even though she was instructed to

NOT call it again. [redacted] said she

called [redacted] because she needed to leave a message for me. [redacted] had my cell phone

number on file.

3. Every

time I spoke to [redacted] I asked her to "VAL/DATE THE DEBT". [redacted]

would say ok, then on the last call she

made to me I again asked her to validate the debt and [redacted]'s reply to me was

"WHATS THAT?".

Please take this complaint seriously. I believe this company, PBC

Corp, is not on the up & up.

Review: I was contacted by this company a few years back and have been making monthly payments on the bill in which was owed. I have on numerous occasions tried calling them to mail me a detailed statement summary of my payments and balances due on the credit card bill. They have never responded to any of my communications, be it email, phone call or mailed letter. The past few months the payments I have sent have been returned back to me. My bank informed me the routing and bank account are INVALID and that is why my payments are being refused. I tried calling their phone numbers and I get their voice mail is full and they cannot take any calls. This is a big problem for if payments are being made with no communications or statements of payments received this shows to be a fraudulent company.Desired Settlement: I would like this account to be removed from my credit bureaus immediately as paid in full.

Review: Was contacted by PBCM in sept about a loan they had bought out. We made payment arrangements for which I upheld my end. They started calling myself and my Ex wife demanding full payment. I explained I wasn't able to do that and they told me I needed to get a loan or find a way to do it. This is not possible for me. I was struggling as is to make the payments but I am willing to continue those.Desired Settlement: Would like them to continue to take they payments as they were and would also ask that they cease contact with my ex wife. she is no longer tied to any of what is going on.

Review: My name is [redacted] and I am writing this letter of dispute in reference to my GECRB/SAMS Discover Card account. Your office has assigned it account number [redacted]. You indicate that there is an outstanding balance of 43075.44 which includes late fees and interest. According to [redacted], supervisor, whom I spoke with on May 21, 2013, the account was received in his office for collections on January 29, 2014. To be clear, I am NOT disputing the fact that I have an outstanding balance on my Sams Discover card, which is closer to a total of $2,000, without accrued interest and late fees, rather I am disputing the fact regarding the entire process of how it came to be turned over to a collection agency. Outlined below is a synopsis of events. On June 7, 2013, upon selling my home, and in anticipation of moving to a new residence, I notified all my creditors, to include Sams Club, of my new address. I subsequently received written documentation from GECRB/ Sams Club which in part, :Thank you for notifying us of your recent address change on your account. We have reviewed your request and have updated our records". -Point #1-- If I was trying to avoid paying a debt, why would I have provided a new address for Sams Club to send my bills to? When I called your office , I initially spoke with Ms. [redacted]. When she viewed my records she indicated that not only was my address on file not correct, but the telephone number that I verbally stated for her was not on file. The telephone number she had belonged to the old address of : [redacted] . -Point #2 -- Since I provided both the current address and telephone number PRIOR to the June 2013 move, and received written verification of same from GECRB/Sames,how can I possibly be held responsible for the ineptitude of an employee at either your organization or the reporting organization (GECRB/Sams)? Both my personal records and my credit report reflect that no payments were made to GECRB.Sames after June of 2013 move. I will attest to the fact that I received no bills. no late notices, no certified letters, and no documentation form either GECRB/Sams or PPC Collection Agency. Absolutely every other creditor I have sent me a bill without interruption and I continued to pay on all accounts on a monthly basis. I was not hiding, I was not hard to find. -Point #3 --Quite simply put, I cannot pay a but that I do not receive. At this juncture, you may be wondering why I did not question the absence of a Sams Discover Card bill, and that would be a valid question under normal circumstances. I, however, have been diagnosed with Post Concussion Syndrome, from a significant head/neck injury which occurred in May of 2012. Although there are numerous symptoms associated with this diagnosis, the one pertinent to this case is a complete lack of short term memory. I have enclosed both my medical diagnosis as well as a list of symptoms which are experienced with this syndrome. - Point #4-- My medical issue involving the post concussion Syndrome, prevented me from recalling that I was not receiving a Sams Discover Card bill. I would truly be dismayed to think that I am being discriminated against due to a medical disability, a violation of the Americans with disabilities Act. I find incredulous in today's age of technology, that neither GECRB.Sams nor PPC Collection Agency was able to contact me using my current purchasing (on an approximate weekly basis) at Sam's Club. How was I able to "swipe" the same card (Sams Discover) on a continual basis at my local Sams Club store, that had been "closed" and reported as "Derogatory"; Collection/chargeoff? - I have used my Sams Discover card for 11 months since the last payment. That action alone should have triggered GECRB to decline the card, at which time I would have begun making phone calls to inquire about the declination and straighten the matter out before it ever got to this point. The devastating impact that this derogatory entry on my credit score has had, is that both of my daughters have been denied loans, with me as the cosigner, to continue their college education. An act that, as evidenced by the synopsis outlined above,is offensive to my sensibilities and totally unfair to two hardworking young ladies who are pursuing their higher education. Are view of my overall credit history will clearly indicate that I pay my bill in a timely manner and to suggest other wise is a falsehood.Desired Settlement: I am respectfully requesting, as a resolution, that this "Derogatory" status be immediately removed from my credit report. Furthermore, I am requesting that any and all accrued interest from June 1, 2013, which was the date of the last payment, to the present, be eliminated, as well as any late fees that have been attached. Upon accomplishing ALL of this, I will be more than happy to resume payment of my Sams Discover Card bill that is mailed to the correct address previously provided in June 2013.
