Dear Mr [redacted] , After we talked as I told you, I would check the meter to make sure the electronic read and the visual read matchedI did do that and also logged the meter for the daily usage for the past couple of monthsYou told me you were not home a lot but the log shows steady usageI turned on the algorithm that will indicate a possible leak from the hourly stored dataThe formula is a dymamic calculation that looks at the data and if it cannot find a three hour period within hours it sends me a signal telling me there is a possible leakOnece it sees a three hour period it resets and no potential leak signal is sentI looked when I took the September reading and a signal was not sent indicating the usage had been correctedI look again in October and the possible leak signal was not sent and the usage had gone down by almost 2/3s from the previous monthsSo you had adjusted your usage I read the meters and bill the user for the amount they usedThe reading is from a major manufacture's meter, manufactured in accordance to the Standards set forth by the American Water Works Association for the utility water distribution marketI know the water goes through the meter but I do not know what it is being used forThe home Owner Association must pay the bill no-mater how the customer uses the waterBefore we started billing the individual users the bill got to a point where it was impossible to pay and you know how desasterious this would be unless someone was willing to come up with $30,to pay it out of their pocket I looks like you have resolved your usageIn the future if you wish, I can let you know if I get a possible leak notificationWe have learned from experience that people get upset when they are notified that they may have a leak, they seem to feel it is non of my businessWhen I do send you a notice, I am not telling you that you dohave a leak, I am just telling you the math said you did not have a water stoppage durning a hour period over any running hours in the month Hope this clears this up [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]
Thanks for that reply My request was that I be showed what you look at when reading the water meterThe attached photo is a picture of my water meter and it is filled with dirt, trash and debris What are you reading from and then how is sewage calculated I am requesting a face to face visit to explain this to me
I do not understand this The verbiage is not in laymans terms and difficult to understand You mentioned I have adjusted my usage Nothing has changed so for the water bill to have dropped by 2/in a month is surprising
I am requesting that you show me how you get your readings and how you get totals for both water and sewage As you can see, the bill has been steadily increasing
I have been paying these high water/sewage bills faithfully but it's getting to a points where I am now questioning the validity of them
There has been no follow up with me until now
Regards,

Dear Mr. [redacted],
After we talked as I told you, I would check the meter to make sure the electronic read and the visual read matched. I did do that and also logged the meter for the daily usage for the past couple of months. You told me you were not home a lot but the log shows steady usage. I turned on the algorithm that will indicate a possible leak from the hourly stored data. The formula is a dymamic calculation that looks at the data and if it cannot find a three hour period within 24 hours it sends me a signal telling me there is a possible leak. Onece it sees a three hour period it resets and no potential leak signal is sent. I looked when I took the September reading and a signal was not sent indicating the usage had been corrected. I look again in October and the possible leak signal was not sent and the usage had gone down by almost 2/3s from the previous months. So you had adjusted your usage.
I read the meters and bill the user for the amount they used. The reading is from a major manufacture's meter, manufactured in accordance to the Standards set forth by the American Water Works Association for the utility water distribution market. I know the water goes through the meter but I do not know what it is being used for. The home Owner Association must pay the bill no-mater how the customer uses the water. Before we started billing the individual users the bill got to a point where it was impossible to pay and you know how desasterious this would be unless someone was willing to come up with $30,000.00 to pay it out of their pocket.
I looks like you have resolved your usage. In the future if you wish, I can let you know if I get a possible leak notification. We have learned from experience that people get upset when they are notified that they may have a leak, they seem to feel it is non of my business. When I do send you a notice, I am not telling you that you dohave a leak, I am just telling you the math said you did not have a water stoppage durning a 3 hour period over any running 24 hours in the month.
Hope this clears this up.
