I got into a signed contractual agreement with PROdeck Construction in February 2016 to build a new deck/patio. The deck was completed and had no issues until recently. The adjacent edges of the deck are becoming loose and entering unnecessary materials such as leaves in between the edges. I called PROdeck to fix this since I have warranty for 5 years from PROdeck and 25 years warranty from ***. PROdeck sent a contractor to visit the place and said talk to *** because it is a *** issue due to the material. I reached out to *** and explained the case. They did the investigation and found out the contractor did the installation wrong. They sent out a detailed explanation via email with reference material. I provided that to the PROdeck contractor, but he was unresponsive & unprofessional. I followed up with him and still he was hesitant to provide a response let alone a solution. Then, I told him I am giving you one final chance before reaching out to Revdex.com/going to court and he replied by text. He said I will fix it on Thursday and only gave me a one day notice. I told him I am working that day and need an alternative day as I need to be in the house while they fix. He said no. Moreover, he said once I fix this, "I am done & contractually not obliged". I said that is not correct because our agreement is binding for 5 years. He never responded after that and hasn't been professional at all. He wasn't polite in how he communicated, was a bit threatening & totally not flexible in trying to resolve this issue. I exhausted all the options I can think of, but have no choice but to report this to Revdex.com. I am very disappointed with the service and more so with the lack of follow up & communication to resolve the issue. This type of coercive behavior is totally unacceptable and need Revdex.com's support for PROdeck to fix the deck.
