BBA reman emailed the mechanic a shipping label on 3/2/2015, however as the tracking information shows attached, the mechanic failed to drop the item off with UPS until 3/12/2015, and BBA received the item on 3/16/ The unit was tested, repaired and then tested again before shipping the item back the same day The mechanic then received the item on 3/18/as the tracking info shows The delay was in no part BBA's fault, but rather a delay caused by the mechanic.As far as compensation for the other issues in the car, BBA is in no way responsible or liable for faulty or damaged wiring in the vehicle due to the mechanics inability to properly diagnose or repair the automobileThe unit that was sent to BBA was tested and passed all testing before it was shipped back to the mechanic 03/16/1:23:PM TESTED REPAIREDFAULT: ***REPAIR: replaced the CAN reciever and the EEPROmTEST: tested normally ----Added By : [redacted] The repairs that BBA completed would in no way cause any issues with the wiring in the vehicle.Any email from the mechanic stated that he admitted he didn't have the right tools for the job and that he was taking too long and didn't have time to send it back to BBA under warranty for a second look.1:44:PM when I got it back it would just start then die so I figured that it just needed programed to recognize the key so I towed it to the dealer and they put there scan tool on to program and the bcm is still bad I watched them do it and seen the problem I just didn't have the equipment myself so I am wondering about a refund because it's a customer car and they are freaking out because I'm taking to long and I won't have time to send it back to you please let me know asap
Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolvedI see that business keep blaming me for there mistakes and at this point I am satisfied that at least Revdex.com know that I am not only victim and thath there is over customers which bought same service from them and all of us alegedly tamper with cluster and then sent it to them just to blame them which is not realy what happened but after reviewing all my options its the best to forget it all I already bougt new cluster and have it programed it cost me just about 400$ so its not worthted all this mess.All I want from them is to actualy apologize for what they did and I know its not while BBA it must be some inexpirienced tech which doesnt want to admit that he dont know what he is dooing.Asfar as I am concerned its all over but there might be some more unhappy customers and I am not sure what they gona do about them Regards, [redacted]
Customer's cluster was tampered with prior to it being sent to BBA BBA takes responsibility for even offering to work on this cluster as it should have been returned to the customer immediately upon determining that there was wood and JB weld used inside the cluster However, our
publicly advertised terms of trade state that we will not pay for a replacement but will indeed refund the total purchase price to the customer upon determining that the unit is damaged beyond repair Upon receipt of paperwork showing the cost of a replacement cluster from the customer, I will consider some form of compensation for the replacement, but can not promise full compensation prior to receiving a receipt from the customer for a replacement Customer has made several threats via email that have been recorded and logged for future use if needed in a court of law
