At this time, I have been contacted directly by Caruso Paving & Sealcoating, Inc.? regarding complaint ID [redacted] , however my complaint has NOT been resolved because: when we showed him the cracks we wanted him to fix, he said it was a $3,job we wanted him to doSee the full explanation below : Caruso called me on about 12:pm Friday, September **, 2016, and asked : “What can I do for you?” I told him : “I want the driveway fixed as you promised in your estimate.” He asked if he could come over today and I told him, that someone would be here but I had an appointmentHe said he would show up at 2:pm to get things doneWhen it was 2:pm and he had not appeared, we called the Ulster County Consumer Affairs to let him know he had contacted us and had made an appointment to check out the driveway with us but he did not call to say he would be late or not come at allThen at about 2:pm, he came walking down the driveway toward my backside asking the same question as on the phone, but very arrogantly : “What can I do for you?” I told him the same as above and said I would show him the cracks and moss area that we were concerned aboutI started up the driveway looking for the long crack about ftlong on the left side of the driveway by the side of the house when my caregiver, Bonnie, who had shown Caruso the driveway at the original estimate, came out of the house and started talking to CarusoCaruso ignored Bonnie totally and stood at the bottom of the driveway as I proceeded up it pointing to the cracksHe remained totally silent about all the cracks I pointed out until we got to the moss area near the middle of the driveway (he had said he would get rid of the moss before putting down the sealcoat but he did not), then he said he had no control over moss and that it must have come up after the sealcoatWhen we said “...the sealcoat is on the moss, you did not get rid of it...”, he became very loud and belligerent saying this was a $3,job that we wanted him to doWe indicated to him that he had said no such amount when he gave us the original estimateHis tone was very argumentative and he said “this is getting my blood pressure up” when he approached his car and opened the doorWe thought he was getting into it to leave, so we turned around and went to the back of the houseBonnie went inside to call the Ulster County Consumer Affairs when Caruso came back down behind me again and said something to the effect of :”Is that all you have?”, to which I turned around and said something to the effect of : “I really don't want to talk to you anymore because all you do is lie to me.” Bonnie came out of the house carrying the phone, which lead Caruso to say something to the effect :“You're talking to Patrick (Consumer Affairs, which we were) so I am leaving...” to which he headed up the driveway to get into his car and leaveWe realized then that he had called and was there BECAUSE he had gotten the letter from the Ulster County Consumer AffairsTime was about 3:pm on September **, when he left with no resolution ? ? ? ?
