I picked my vehicle up in February 2019 after having (supposively) an engine replacement. During the time my cupholder console was completely broken and the wire harness for my radio was stolen, along with my belongings being searched through. After about 1 week my vehicle began to run hot . I took it back to *** and after about 3 days or so he told me the thermostat was sticking and it was fixed, unfortunaltely I had to take it back to him 3 more times along with buying a radiator and fan clutch. Not to mention my vehicle stayed with him a AT LEAST a week and a half each time. Over the course of time I had my truck for a total of about 1 month, which fast forwards me to Aug. 1 when I took my vehicle back to *** due to consistent overheating and a diagnostic check that revealed blown head gaskets. My vehicle is currently at All Star Engine with nothing done or fixed on it with constant excuses of "two days it'll be ready", " I don't have money to fix it", " I don't have any mechanics" and " i'll fix it myself, I'll get started on it today". I have video and audio recordings of these consistent excuses for 4 months. I appear at his shop at least 1-2 times a week questioning when my truck will be fixed. I was warranted a 2 tear unlimited mile warranty and all I have gotten in return is a botched job without any accountability for repair. My last 2 visits I discovered my after market CD player was stolen, when asked to speak with ***, Benito told me he was in Mexico and will return the next day. After coming back with the sheriffs to take an incident report, *** appears and tells me and the officer that he just got back and that he will replace the radio. At this point I'm afraid for them to disassemble anything on my truck. I just want my vehicle repaired for what I initially done business with All Star Engine. This has been a nightmare and UNREAL experience.

The company All Start Engine was given 4 cars to fix in its and it never repaired. The cars were mechanic workshop since June and after several attempts on October 10 with help of the police I was able to recover 3 of the cars without repair and with most of the lost parts. The fourth car is still on its property because it lacked some parts including the wheels. The manager was given a deposit of 2,400 dollars. I have all evidences and receipts.

I took my vehicle to Allstar engine installation on April 13 2019 for a warranty repair .. Alex had done work on my vehicle about a year and a half ago so he said he would warranty the work and fix it he called me a few days later to tell me the problem was the timing chain and that it would cost $1200 dollars and he asked for half so I took him $600 two weeks later he told me it would take a few weeks to repair it so after not receiving a call 1 month later I contacted him and he told it would be ready the following week and that has been the story every time I talk to him when I can get in touch with him he ignores my calls and acts like he can’t hear me when he does answer so today 9-16-19 I went to the shop to talk to him and he was not there .. my car was still on jacks with no engine in it and it looked like no progress was being made I feel this has been some of the most unprofessional service I had received I really need help resolving this matter

Alex serviced my van's engine in 2011. It has run well to date. Great job. However my 2010 Buick was to have a reman engine, well not great at all. Returning the vehicle, the driver cracked the bumper damaging the fog lamp and housing, and sensors. Reported to Alex the check engine light was on. He requested we drive the car for a while. Engine matters worsened. Alex has not return my calls to date. He has not fulfilled warranty obligations to repair/replace engine. Would not seek services in the future. Total rip-off!

I put two of my cars in their shop, neither ever ran correctly after repairs. One went for 1500 mIles and then would barely run. The other one poured oil and though they supposedly rebuilt the engine, it never ran correctly either.

I had my vehicle towed in for an engine rebuild on 3/23, I was told by *** it would cost 3250 and would take about 3 weeks to complete. It has now been over a month and I have been given nothing but the run around. I called Monday 4/09 to get an update on my vehicle and was told to call back Wednesday to see if it was ready for pick up. I called Wednesday 4/11 to see if my vehicle was ready and was told that they had to order a part for my vehicle and delivery had been delayed but they should have the part Thursday 4/12 and the vehicle should be ready Friday or Saturday but to allow time for the mechanic to test drive the vehicle to make sure everything is ok , I agreed and stated I will just get back with them on Monday 4/16. I called Monday 4/16 and spoke to *** and he stated they ran into an issue and they needed more time. I asked for a time frame because I have been renting a vehicle while my vehicle was in the shop and was told it should be ready Wednesday to extend the rental until the end of the week and he would help cover the rental charges so I did. I called Wednesday 4/18 and was told by the receptionist my vehicle still wasn't ready it should be ready Thursday 4/19. I called several times on 4/19 and no one ever answered the phone. Friday 4/20 I continue to call and get no answer so I drive to the mechanic shop around 11am to see if my vehicle was ready because I had to return the rental by 3pm, I was told by *** and the receptionist my vehicle was not ready but for sure was going to be ready for pick up by 2pm. I arrive back around 2:30 to pick up my vehicle and was told by *** there was a problem and he needed to replace one of the parts which he could get done and have the vehicle ready for pick up Monday 4/23 to extend the rental out until Monday and again he would help cover the cost. Monday 4/23 I called several times and got no answer so I decided to try calling from my sister's phone and the receptionist picked up right away when she realized who I was she quickly handed the phone to *** who begin yelling at me stating to give him till the end of the day and if he couldn't have it up and running he would allow me to come get the vehicle and have it towed somewhere else and I wouldn't have to pay him the remainder of what was owed because he couldn't work under the pressure that was being placed on him (paid the initial deposit of 1500 to begin the work 3/23/18). I explained that I just needed to know when my vehicle would be ready due to the amount of the rental going up. Again I was told by *** to extend the rental until the end of the week and he will cover some of the charges. I stopped by 4/23 to speak with *** to see if I could get a better understanding of the problem and if a time frame could be given as if today 4/24 nothing. I understand my engine was in very bad shape and I take full responsibility for that, I just need to know what's really going on with my vehicle and if you can repair it if not please refund me the $1500 payment as my vehicle is still not running

This is in respond to Mrs. *** complaint regarding her vehicle that is being repaired here at All Star Engine.The turn around time for a rebuildable engine in which her case it was NOT and NOT BEING ADDITIONALLY CHARGE is 3 to 4 weeks. ASE AGREED WE WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR 2 WEEKS CAR RENTAL. At this point her vehicle is having other issues that does not have anything to do with the work performed here.We also truly apologize that she feels a certain way in needing her money back when Major work and labor time has been performed in which we feel we cannot refund her money because of the extent of the amount of major repairs that have been done to her vehicle.Revdex.com thank you for giving us the opportunity to help resolve this matter with our customer and if there is anything we can do to resolve and make our business better we would appreciate knowledge of it!!

I am rejecting this response because: the mechanic shop has failed to communicate with me I have to physically go by there to get any updates on my vehicle. I understand there is alot of work being done on my vehicle I just want to be notified when changes occur rather than my phone calls being ignored or being told my vehicle will be ready that day oe the next day at the latest. Per their website they never complete any work with notifying the customer 1st!!!

Mr. Brought his vehicle in for a complete engine repair. Before we can initiate any Service we require an initial deposit that in his case was $1500.00 in which it was done months later after towing car in our shop. Mr. brought vehicle in as it was with broken latch and damaged hood which made it difficult for our technicians to work around it , vehicle also looked as if it had been sitting for a long period of time before vehicle got towed to our shop. Mr. actually left vehicle at our shop for months before deposit was made, finally Mr. made a deposit so we initiated the engine repair once completed he was contacted numerous times but again also left the vehicle here in our possesion for more than 6 months after completion. We are not responsible for any previous damage vehicle might have had.

I am rejecting this response because: The account of the time frame as well as damage to the vehicle is an outright lie on behalf of the business. The stolen items from the inside of the car are not even addressed in the response.

The hood latch to the vehicle had NO defect when it was brought to the business, that is why they did not inform me of it until the day the car was to be picked up. The car had a functioning and in place hood cable. Photographic PROOF of the shop damage ATTACHED. Obvious damage from attempting to PRY the hood open. How can they possibly explain the hood cable being on the outside of the car after picking it up if it were not operational when they received it? The shop has ADMITTED to breaking the hood latch on multiple occasions, citing their need for a "body man" to come fix it and adding to the delay of the car being ready.

Entire sound system stolen from inside the trunk of the car, which requires the key to the car to access. Photographic PROOF ATTACHED. Photos of the cut wires that were cut to steal the sub-woofer and amplifier.

Calls were placed to the business once a week for two months with delay after delay, and excuse after excuse.

The car STILL will not maintain an idle and is not repaired correctly for the work they were supposed to do, let alone all of the damage and theft that occurred.

Attached are photos of the damage done by the business as well as link to the investigative reporting by the local television news station regarding their business practices.

This business has been reported to the Attorney General's office.
