The vehicle was driven in with an oil leak miles after the contract went into effectThe contract does not cover preexisting conditionsThe attached picture shows the leak was present long before the contract went into effect

Revdex.com:Although I do accept the response that the claim was
approved to pay last night, it was only after submitting the BBQ complaint as well as having the bank call her contacts with the *** company to find out what the problem wasWe had provided all they requested and it was provided last weekThey refused to approve it, saying the receipt that the auto repair company sent them, showing the 50,mile tune up was complete, was fraudulent They hung up on my husband after yelling at him for driving more miles on his truck than he had in the pastThis was due to a job change where he has to drive his truck to work daily now that he doesn't have a job that provides him a work truck to take home. They received everything they asked for business days ago and again, refused to approve the claim until this Revdex.com complaint was made and the bank had to jump on them. Very poor practice!
I have reviewed / accept the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID

The Money Back Guarantee

It must be submitted to...

Auto Exam, Inc. within 30 miles days of the expiration
of the Service Contract.
The contract expired on
2/22/15; we did not receive the odometer disclosure statement until 4/14/15. On
4/9/15 I spoke to Mr. [redacted] about him calling the warranty company 2 months
earlier. Unfortunately the first call on record to the warranty company was on
4/1/15. He did not contact us Auto Exam on 3/16/2015.

As per the contract, the maintenance service of the vehicle was verified via service records.  Once all records were provided, this claim was approved 5/19/15 at 2:58PM CST.  This claim was never denied.

Unfortunately, we are unable to meet your request.  Auto Exam has a Legal Liability to follow the terms and conditions of the contract exclusively and we cannot alter those terms in any way.

The issue is AutoExam deemed my claim invalid. I had to pay for the...

repair to my car out of my pocket. I had a valid contract that they denied to pay my claim. I paid for my repair myself and canceled the contract. They decided to pay part of the claim and then took out what they paid me from my refund of the total amount I paid for the contract. While trying to tell me in the contract it states this about canceling the contract and deducting my repair from it. Hence our dispute. Simple math I bought 1683 for the warranty. I paid 468.21 to get my car repaired. so the total we are talking about is 2151.21. Thats my out of pocket cost. They sent me 335 and then decocted it from my refund. Simple meaning you didn't pay for the repair you just refunded me my 1683. Now how do you think I would accept that as fair? You don;t get to pick and choose the part of your contract you will abide by. If you would have just paid the valid claim that would have been the end of it. You decided to argue with me over it and then I had to pay myself to get my car running as It was at the dealership almost 2 weeks while you tried to pressure me over this. Ill say this once more. To resolve this issue I want my Full Refund back and my repair paid for! thats 1683 for the warranty and I will accept the 335 you send for the repair. And this can end. That is as simple as I can put it. I will say to the Revdex.com it was resolved fairly and justly to my satisfaction. A misunderstanding that AutoExam made right by me and we are good now.

The head gaskets on Therese [redacted] engine failed as a result
of the engine overheating which was caused by a long-term leak on the water
pump. Per the contract any damage caused when the engine exceeds...

the
manufacturer’s maximum recommended operating temperature or lack of proper
quality or quantity of fluids or lubricants will not be covered. The water pump
is a listed component and the claim for it was authorized.

way.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.Once again, your response doesn't explain why you sell insurance/warranty that is fraudulent?  The "fine print" disclaimer that you continue to refer to would nullify almost all the items you claim to cover in your policy as given to customers at the time of purchase.  Again, your warranty is fraudulent.  I will be taking this up further with Revdex.com.
Regards,

[redacted] purchased
this contract on [redacted]. At that time it was disclosed that if the vehicle was
modified in anyway, including lift kits and oversized tires it...

would not be eligible
for coverage.

The first claim on this
contract came on [redacted]. [redacted] called and stated that the customer
had a concern with a noise in the exhaust system and a rattle in the rear of
the vehicle. The shop was unable to duplicate either of these concerns. The other
complaint was the driver’s door making a noise. This failure was verified by
the shop, but unfortunately door handles are considered a trim item and not
listed for coverage on the contract.

The second time it went
to the shop on [redacted] the customer stated there was a noise in the front of the
vehicle and an exhaust noise when cold. At this time we sent an inspector to verify
the failures. During the inspection we found the vehicle has oversize tires and
a lift kit. Vehicles with oversize tires are not eligible for coverage and unfortunately
this contract has to be cancelled.

As soon as this claim was
denied the cancellation process was started and the customer will be getting a
full refund.

Auto Exam, Inc. has a
Legal Liability to follow the terms and conditions of the contract exclusively
and we cannot alter those terms in any way.
