This is the worse company ever. We booked this company for our family reunion. They were disorganized, late and the buses is very outdated. Our bus leaked in the seats Upon arriving 6 hrs late for pickup, the bus was dirty and had trash in it. They never showed for our original time and we had to call them. We missed a day and event paid for the 1st day of our reunion.

If I could give this business zero or negative 5 stars I would. In February 2016 my family chartered a 35 passenger bus from NY to Georgia for the weekend of Thursday July 7 through Monday July 11 for our annual reunion. Princess Tours transportation is by far THE WORST company we've EVER done business with, even if the price was right nothing else was! Our scheduled pick up Thursday night at 9pm didn't happen until Friday morning (12:30-1:00AM) so since we all were at the agreed on location between 8:00pm-8:30pm we waited for 5.5/6 hours with on a busy sidewalk with our luggage and food. When a vehicle finally arrived instead of a 35 passenger coach a local shuttle 25-27 person bus which is used to transport weekday commuters from NJ Journal Square to the NY Port Authority terminal came to pick us up. This IS NOT what we contracted for! Our final payment was made two weeks prior to our departure and our itinerary was also provided at that time. We held up our end of the contract, they apparently did not but they certainly took our money. When the bus pulled back up to us there was already a passenger in the front seat who WAS NOT OUR FAMILY… What kind of BS this is we did not know. Why is there already a person on board taking up valuable space on this tiny shuttle ?!?! I'll get to that later.

When we called the toll free number at their website for dispatch no one answered. However the driver Edgar, who turned out to be the owner of the vehicle drove off for 30 minutes at midnight and pretended to get in touch with his "Supervisor." While we all sat there incredulous that the driver simply drove off and left us on the sidewalk the reality dawned on us that our trip had been subcontracted out WITHOUT our knowledge or permission! Several of us began calling the toll free telephone number which no one answered but eventually someone at dispatch John Dufor called our contact number and said the commuter shuttle was all we could get as he lied to us some more and said our scheduled bus had a faulty transmission. We had been planning since February and you'd think they would make an effort to make an adequate replacement, even though we've been planning since February NO EFFORT TO CONTACT US ABOUT THESE CHANGES EVER WAS MADE. Needless to say losing our hotel reservations and money to attend our weekend attractions was not an option.

The "bus" HAD NO RESTROOM OR storage (NO UNDERCARRIAGE COMPARTMENT) for our 28+ person group. Our luggage and coolers were piled precariously almost to the ceiling against the rear exit door, and sudden stops or wide turns made everything shift and slide forward dangerously. The air conditioning broke down so we sweltered uncomfortably before we reached the half way point in North Carolina, plus the antifreeze leaked out of the bus completely at a rest stop in NC and for the duration of the weekend we contended with the July temperatures the very season which air conditioning is non negotiable! Additionally on the way back to New York water leaked from the shuttles roof and windows during heavy rain storms in South Carolina saturating the over head bins and their contents and dripping into the cabin onto passengers, THEN the vehicle blew a tire in VA which added an additional 4 hours to our trip for repairs. Oh and don't let me forget to mention that WE PAID OUT OF POCKET FOR THE REPAIRS!!! This was the most bootleg operation we have ever experienced!

Not to mention we had two terrible drivers, not one but two but horrible long distance drivers who fell asleep at the wheel and drifted alternately dangerously close to the edges (Thank God for rumble strips) or into neighboring lanes (Thank God for alert truckers)… It was a scary and prayerful trip going and coming. Edgar, who speaks limited English and another man who spoke no English whom he introduced to us as his "mechanic" was later revealed as Edgars father! I mean how much lying can anyone do? They were both horrible long distance drivers who fell asleep at the wheel and alternately drifted dangerously close to the edges (Thank God for rumble strips) or into neighboring lanes (Thank God for alert truckers)… It was a scary and prayerful trip going and coming. Because we contracted for one driver from NY to VA and a fresh driver to meet us in VA and travel the rest of the way with us we weren't prepared to provide hotel accommodations for two drivers so we only booked a hotel room with one King bed. However we were able to shuffle rooms among ourselves to come up with a double bed but why on earth should my family have to play musical hotel rooms to fix one of the many mistakes made for our trip?!?!

We weren't prepared to provide accommodations for two drivers because our contract stated that we would have one driver from New York to Virginia and then switch to another driver from Virginia to Georgia, so we only booked a hotel room with one King bed. We were able to shuffle rooms among ourselves to come up with a double bed but why on earth should my family have to play musical hotel rooms to fix one of the many mistakes made for our trip?!?! I am beyond disgusted and intend to get our money back for the vehicle rental, the hotel room and repair costs! I WILL contact the New Jersey department of Consumer Affairs (where the vehicle we received is registered), I WILL contact the Revdex.com, I WILL contact the New York department of Consumer Affairs (where Princess Tours "fleet" is registered), I WILL go back to Princess Tours and give them an earful just to make myself feel better and if they have ANY integrity we will not have to litigate…. BUT whatever YOU DO, shop around and remember that you really do get what you pay for and a good price can be too good to be true. BE WARNED DO NOT USE PRINCESS TOURS (616 Corporate Way, Valley Cottage, NY 10989)

Review: We book princess tours for our family reunion. They made sure all payments, bus driver room and tip was paid in timely fashion. Per our contract, we were due to leave at 12 midnight. 12 midnight no bus shows up and 40 people are waiting. We had to call then and keep calling. Finally, 6:00 am, we have a bus. As we decide to load, we notice this bus wasn't anything shown on their fleet. We get on the bus and it's filthy. We had dirt, trash and nats. As we proceed, DVD player not working and radio not working as promised. We missed a day and events due to disorganized bus company. The bus leaked due to air conditioning. They have duck tape holding parts of the panels together. The driver drove 14 hrs there and back.Desired Settlement: We would like a full refund

Review: Good morning.

My church rented a tour bus for a youth conference back in June of 2015. The group was travelling from Virginia to Georgia. Before we booked we asked about the buses we would be using and two pictures were sent to us which I have on file. The buses in the pictures were very nice contrary to what we were given. The bus smelled of fumes, the AC barely worked, there were no outlets, no wifi, no ability to play music or to hear the volume on the video screens. The tread on the tires were worn ( we have pictures) and the tires blew out on the highway when travelling back home from Georgia to Virginia. The teachers and students were on the side of the highway waiting for someone to come and fix the bus; however we had to reach out to an entirely new bus company to return our teachers and students home in a safer bus.

We reached out to Princess Tours several times and we wanted to be compensated for the additional funds we spent in renting another bus from another company since this was no fault of our own. In Aug of 2015 Princess tours did send an email saying :

Myself and others have called repeatedly to Princess Tours so we could speak to someone in regards to our credit voucher that our church has NEVER received. Several messages were left with the managers or at least the ones answering the phone. We paid for a service and it was less than decent...we were told we would receive a credit voucher and that's what we are expecting. We want Princess Tours to do the right thing and keep their word. We are not asking for something that is not rightfully deserved and is promised by the company.Desired Settlement: We would like Princess Tours to send the credit voucher they promised of $2500.

Review: There are several issues I would like to bring to light here. We used this company to transport 60 students from Harrisburg, PA, to Wildwood, NJ. When I first contacted the company we set up a contract for round trip transportation. After that, it was several weeks before I heard anything about payment. I called several times and left several messages and none of them were returned. When we finally got in touch and sent payment, they "lost" our first check, had issues with our second check, and threatened to cancel the contract less than two weeks from the trip. Finally, I wired my own personal money to them in order to keep the contract and get our students to Wildwood. When the buses finally showed up, they told me they were not going to stay for the weekend. We needed transportation around in Wildwood, and the contract was for round trip. I also had sent an itinerary to the owner of the company and confirmed twice that he received it and everything was fine. When I called him to resolve the issue, his first reaction was to threaten to call the drivers and send them home, leaving us without transportation. The buses themselves were wet inside, had no heat or air, smelled, and the televisions did not work. On the way home, our drivers refused to let our students stop to get food even though they were not able to eat for several hours. The company broke their end of the contract on multiple occasions throughout this unfortunate experience.Desired Settlement: I would like a partial refund of our money, because the services agreed upon were not rendered. Also the unsanitary conditions of the buses, and the fact that drivers would not let children stop for dinner is absolutely unacceptable.

To Whom It May Concern:

This is [redacted] from [redacted] The [redacted]. Enclosed please find a detailed letter of the poor service my [redacted] and I received on July ** 2014 as a result of using your bus company. Additionally, we are concern because PrincessTours has never once to date reached out to [redacted] or myself with a formal apology or any resolution to addressing said problems. I am expecting to hear back from Princess Tours head officials immediately as I have not sent this letter until this time having allowed amble time for this to be corrected. WE ARE VERY DISPLEASED WITH YOUr TREATMENT AND RESPONSE TOWARDS A PARTY ([redacted]) THAT PAID IN FULL.

Princess Tours [redacted] Attention: [redacted] or Corporate Staff

On July [redacted] our [redacted] contracted with your company to deliver us safely to [redacted] in Doswell, Virginia. To our dissatisfaction, we ([redacted]) had a less than stellar and comfortable ride to and fro and were faced with much displeasure along this sojourn. These reasons are outlined in the following:

1. The bus driver from Caribbean Coach did not arrive until 8:18 am. We had a departure scheduled to leave [redacted] at 8 AM.

2. Many seats on the bus had giant sized holes to my surprise; as well the bus itself from front to back was visibly not cleaned.

3. As we boarded the bus in the front, black masking tape draped over a piece of a partition.

4. An odor from the bathroom vaguely reeked of urine and to make matters worse there was no light in the bathroom the ENTIRE trip. Note: The bus driver blamed it on mechanics stating “It was just working yesterday”~ July ** 2014~

5. Everyone who had to use the restroom was forced to use their cell phone light to adequately see.

6. There was no toilet paper to or fro our trip on either bus

7. The bus driver held a contract that stated that our time was from 8am-8pm, even though we paid for and held a contract that stated 8am-11pm. He and I slightly argued (distasteful) as he tried to make us return to the bus , thus attempting to shorten our trip early and leave exactly at 5:30pm- 6pm

to return to Maryland.

8. [redacted], you never returned my call, in which, I made to you to resolve this plight. And as the liaison to the customer, I was expecting to hear back from you as promised.

9. On the return trip the bus broke down and we were stranded for two hours and twenty minutes (2) hrs. 20mins. in VA on the side of the highway. (No Contingency Plan)

10. One of my passengers (a child) who has asthma started to become sick while awaiting the transport.

11. On the second (2nd) bus used to transport and return us to MD., (another Caribbean Coach) this particular bus was not equipped to seat all of the travelers, in fact, two people had to stand.

12. Lastly, the shockless and strutless bus made us all feel like we were riding on the ground and before returning to Maryland. The 2nd bus driver was asked to stop spraying deodorizer as he attempted to mask the urine reeking bathroom that saturated the entire bus and made many passengers

sick.

As it is not my intention to provide such a lengthy list of complaints and displeasures, I am totally within my right because this bus was not the bus advertised on your website [redacted]. Furthermore, as a customer who paid in full as agreed, we have not heard so much as an apology or any movement on Princess Tours part to rectify or refund GBC for damages as outlined. After being distastefully spoken to, waiting in essence of 2 hours and 20 mins. to be picked up by another bus because of the beak down on the return to MD and the list of reasons stated before you we are asking that you do the right thing and response appropriately and without fail.

The bus was not properly prepared for us nor was it in traveling condition. In short, we received poor service and were put in harms’ way on July [redacted] 2014.
