I am renting a storage room with two doors . One of the doors is not working and I have been paying rent for one door instead of two for at least three months . They refuse to fix the door . Ebony told me it’s too expensive to fix the door . Also the security gate at the entrance has not been working and they just leave the gate open . We have a lot of product stored and no security. I’m trying to move from there as soon as the stay at home orders are lifted . They made me pay full price when I wasn’t receiving what was in the contract . Terrible service !!

The tenant at my Westpoint location called and said that one of the electric door’s for his space stopped opening. I told him that I would have someone come in and look at the door to find out what was wrong. The door that is not opening is located on the back end of the unit. This type of unit has two doors for you to pull a large RV through. The vendor that we use for repair to the doors would not come out due to the Covid-19. I have been trying to locate another person that worked on these doors. I have not been successful in finding someone in the Winston Salem, Greensboro area. The doors are called Janice and not a lot of people service this type of door. The rate the tenant is paying is based on square footage, not that the unit has 2 doors. Also it is not a requirement for us to provide two door for the tenants.. The door is able to be opened manually but the tenant feels like he shouldn’t have to open the door by hand. The front door to his space is working and he can go in and out of his unit with no issue. The second door is a special feature that is offered as a courtesy not something the tenant is paying extra for. If we could have gotten the door fixed with in the time the tenant requested it would have been fixed. We are still struggling to find a vendor to come out to repair this issue due to covid-19. I am truly saddened by the response that this tenant has given. I feel we do everything we can to help every person that comes in and rents with us the best we possibly can.

I am rejecting this response because:
The door has not been working before the covid19 . The door does not open manually , that is NOT true . They did not fix the door because it was expensive to fix that is what ebony told me NOT because no one could fix it . *** would have fixed it a long time ago . I rented the space based on the fact that I had two doors . I paid for two doors for over three months and was patient and they did nothing to resolve the issue . The customer service is horrible !!!!
