April 8, 2016Dear *** ***:Please be advised that we represent our clientPrime Auto Group, *** *** ***, Moosic, Pennsylvania Your identified matter, that of *** ***, *** ** *** ***, Berwick, Pennsylvania and her baseless complaint filed which was filed have been
investigated and our findings are that the complaint is frivolous and without meritThe matter has since escalated to *** *** requesting a payoff to cease her attacks and, just yesterday, making what would be construed as a clear extortion request.Enclosed herewith please find the unredacted copies of the Pennsylvania title documents and corresponding final lending documents executed by *** *** and my client as was required with the transactionThe detail of these attachments are clear and unambiguous as the final sales agreement to a used, “as-is” vehicleThe Motor Vehicle Sales Finance Act provides that the purchase is ruled by the documents of what is the final sales agreement. The signed pages you see on these pages all include the sales price with the initials of the buyer as well as the signature of the very sameContrary to the claim, there is no issue to the purchase price or the financing, in fact, *** *** has made a payment on the financing without so much as a single note to the issues she fabricated within your complaintHer indication that “cash and cheek” are unsubstantiated in any wayIn fact she has failed to provide the full balance of the payments she is asserting, Please insist on any cancelled cheek that would substantiate her additional payment assertions made within your complaint. In her second area of the complaint, *** *** indicates a “mechanical” issue of vehicle shaking on the road*** *** made the report which warranted our involvement, Apparently, the shake was from a wheel balance issue at high speeds, which would not have been detected below 70mph, as was driven previouslyHowever, we had the vehicle taken to a separate tire company, *** ***, to have them high speed balanced and the tires inspectedOnce completed, we Look the vehicle to a separately licensed State inspection facility which then provided the inspection in accordance to (heir requirementsThis independent shop provided the inspection stickers reflective of the vehicle having no such issues. On the second return trip for what was clearly fabricated issues, the client, Prime Auto, offered her an opportunity to rescind the transaction for a full refund and have the financing recinded without chargeThis take back offer had no obligation basis to my client, however, the attested value of the price this client paid is still below market, and the very same car would continue to yield a higher price if it was to be resold today.Disappointingly, the customer on April 7, visited the dealers location to assert this concocted story of assertions upon my client offering not to report a matter to the Attorney General in exchange for her keeping the vehicle and having a payment made to herself of $ 15,The owner asked her to leave and reported the matter for further disposition.I would greatly appreciate your quick review of this matter, conscious of being used as a further element to a story that includes the furtherance of a questionable motive being asserted against my clientIn consideration of these transparent and unredacted copies which factually support our assertions, please remove and flag these comments as fraudulent in nature so as to avoid a serious financial hardship to which my client would be exposed if these stories are left unaddressed. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact meI am,Very truly yours,

Dear ***:We apologize for the delay in responding to your letterOur building burneddown on September 19, which has created a great deal of extra paperwork andslowed everything down. The customer and her partner purchased a Chevy Silverado together andwere going to have it registered in
both names. The first attempt to register the vehicle failed as the partner could not provide thecorrect identification. On the second attempt, the customer decided that the paperwork needed to bedone again as her partner was in jail. The third time, the mother of the customer's partner was in possession of thetruck and wanted it put in her name rather than the customer's.Eventually, the customer was pulled over by the policeShe then came in andfilled out the paperwork with correct identification. Please find attached a copy of the charge tor the tow to the storage lot and asigned notation by the customer that Prime Auto Group gave her a total of $forthe tow and the license platesPrime Auto also paid for the registration.Sincerely, Max A***ManagerEnc

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.  The attached screenshot 06 shows the paperwork that Max supplied to DMV  showing the owner as myself with [redacted] as the registrant. The remaining 3  screenshots are of the conversation with Max which supplies additional   proof of purchase. I can also supply the cancelled check from my  account. The so called contract supplied by the business has no buyer  signature on it because it was not presented to us upon delivery. The  vehicle was also not delivered to Amsterdam. It was delivered to my  house in Sprakers.       Regards,  [redacted]

The condition of purchase being the timing belt was verbal between Max and I. I have uploaded the screenshots of the repeated insistence on the importance of the timing belt. In addition is the text where I reminded him of this condition and he said he needed to talk to the shop that did the work and claims to only be the middle man. I also had a phone conversation with Max regarding the amount of time it was taking and he stated it takes time because they had to replace 4 sensors, the timing belt, the battery, the alternator and a flex pipe on the exhaust. None of these things were ever done.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved]
 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:The owner of Prime Auto Group admitted his wrongdoing on a recorded line with a representative of [redacted] legal department. At that time, the representative advised him to stop talking, because what he was saying was illegal. She advised him that he was on a recorded line and that they would be completing an internal investigation. His worker was the one who completed the electronic signatures on my contract and I signed the registration based on what Is sac and Steve from [redacted] disclosed to me. They advised that the additional charges were for the financing of the vehicle. However, when we were on the phone with their legal representative, she advised that was fake and illegal to do.

The 2006 Audi was purchased by [redacted], not [redacted], on October 16, 2017. There was no stipulation regarding the timing belt on the contract. Please see  the attached contract dated October 16 and insurance card dated October 13,2017.  The vehicle, which had 119,491 miles on the...

odometer, was inspected by [redacted] and the timing belt was in working order. A mileage figure of over 100,000 requires a warrantee of only 30 days. The  customer was offered a longer warrantee, but declined to purchase it. We then delivered  Sincerely,  Joseph C. P[redacted]  Owner

My experience with this company was frustrating, after I purchased the vehicle. I was naive enough to give them the benefit of the doubt. When I asked them if the anything was wrong with the car, Of course they said there was not. Yes, I did test drive the car.
After purchasing the car, I was told to bring the truck back for inspection because the sticker was only good until the end of the month. So, I brought it a few weeks later. I was told that they did not have time to inspect it, and to bring it back in the morning. They said it will be done by the after noon, if I leave it there in the morning. So, I did that (this place takes me over a half an hour to get to , due to traffic). I left it there early in the morning, for whole day. I came later on to pick it up. Again, they said they did not get to it. So, once again, I came back another day and left it there for another 2 days. I was told it would be done by noon time. I came back for my car in the evening. I had to wait almost an hour to get it back.
A few weeks after inspection, the oil pressure light began coming on, constantly beeping. I also noticed that coolant was spilling out of my car in great amounts. I brought it there. Left it there for two days. They made me pay for an oil change(!?) They WOULD NOT provide any paper work of what was checked or work performed. Whatever, as long as it was fixed. I asked the owner, Isaac, if anything was wrong with it. They said no, but the light still comes on, but there is nothing wrong with it.After a slight argument with the mechanic, once again I gave them the benefit of the doubt. They said to drive it home and if there is a leak, then bring it back. I drive it home, sure enough, a lot of coolant spilled out from under my car. I bring my car back. 2 days pass by I call and they said they haven't gotten to it.
Later on, we show up and they said they changed the radiator cap. The work description only said that on a piece of paper. So, I take my truck back. The oil light is still going off and beeping every time I slow. This time a knocking sound in the engine gets really loud.(All this in a matter of weeks and only driven around 1000 miles). We had a mechanic diagnose it and they said it's a bad engine and will not touch it. So, we bring it back to the dealership and say we just want our money back. They said that they will not. They said that they will look into it. I leave my truck there for over a week! We called after a few days and once again, they said that they did not know why my truck was there (We had spoken to Stanley. The little guy with the hat. He assure us that he will have it looked and fixed. He was a little rude to us.) Every time, we called, they said that they did not know what was going and will call us back; we had to call back every time and they were very rude. Finally after a week, they had another excuse for not having time to look at my truck, we decided to take it to another place.
I'm just not understanding why it took multiple visits to Prime Auto and they could not find out what was wrong with my car. It only took ONE visit to other mechanics for a proper diagnosis.
From all these review, it seems like they have a certain method of trying to avoid doing repairs and purposely try to confuse the customer. It's places like this that stain the reputation of small car dealerships. Please beware. A place should not have this many negative experiences.

11-28-17Dear Authorities:The above complaint made by [redacted] for 2011 [redacted], which was bough on 9-27-17.  Unfortunately the engine blew up the same day she bought.  Prime Auto gave her the option to take the deposit back and the trade vehicle back (which has a loan to pay off...
