Review: [redacted] misled me in sales tatics, unknowingly financing a loan, poor customer service, and a defective vehicle. Never recieved any paperwork.

Viewed the car 1/16/2013 for $11,900.00

Dealer agreed sell car for $8900.00, and also agreed to include a 2 year warranty in the cost of the car. Because the business owner claimed it was buy here pay here, I let him know financing wasn't an option and he assured me that I would be able to make monthly payments to him of $250.00 a month. I agreed to terms, and on 1/18/13 I left a deposit for the vehicle of $6000.00. One week later I return to the dealer to find out when the vehicle would be ready. I was presented with loan paperwork, I never agreed to the terms of this, a loan that not only included the remaining $3,000 left to pay on the car but also $2000 warranty, After fees the loan total was $7000.00, and not the $3,000 I had agreed to pay back to him at a rate of $250 per month. When I confronted the owner with this, he informed me that he had gotten be the best deal and if I decided I didn't want it I would be unable to get my money back. Upon leaving the dealership [redacted] informed me that my car would be ready by the following week 1/25/13. On 1/30/13 I still hadn't heard from [redacted] shop, after placing several attempted phone calls I reached a representative who knew very little about the status of my vehicle other than it was still sitting on the lot. On 1/31/13 I called Prime auto again, leaving a voicemail expressing my concern not only in the time it was taking for me to receive a vehicle I paid $6000 on but also in the customer service of the establishment and how much of what was communicated to me was not truthful information. On 1/31 I called and finally reached [redacted], who told me to I could just get my money back. When I agreed to this, [redacted] then said he would be keeping $2000 "for time put into the job." On 2/8/13 prime auto contacted me, and informed me that my car would be ready, I made my way out to the shop, where [redacted] was nowhere to be found, I requested paperwork that was needed for the car, including the cars registration, but the gentlemen inside informed me that he did not know where [redacted] kept that information. He informed me that all information would be mailed to me. About 2 miles down the road immediately after pulling the car off the lot, the Check engine and Oil lights came on the dashboard. I immediately called Prime Auto and turned around. The gentlemen inside checked the vehicle and agreed it needed oil. He told me to buy oil from the gas station next door, save my receipt and return tomorrow 2/9/13. On the morning of 2/9/13 I received a call from Prime auto telling me that the mechanic wouldn't be in for the weekend and that my car would be picked up at my job on Monday 2/11 to be looked at. When this did not happen, I called prime auto again, and let them know that I would be bringing the vehicle in myself. Wednesday 2/13 I brought the vehicle back o prime auto. The gentlemen took the car out back, and returned telling me that "The oil was too full and had to be drained." 2/28, the light returned. I contacted prime auto immediately leaving several messages about the vehicle and the light, I received no call back. Over the course of the next 3 Weeks, I made several attempts at contacting prime auto to return with the vehicle, and to retrieve all the paperwork necessary for the vehicle,( registration, loan information, warranty information,) Each voicemail ignored, and not one returned call. None of my paperwork was ever received. On Wednesday April 10,2013 the vehicle completely broke down on the side of the road. I had the vehicle towed to a lot, where a mechanic informed me of damages exceeding $3500.00 None covered by warranty unknowingly sold to me, I've had the car running less than 90 days [redacted] mislead me in his sales tactics using false information and improper service skills in making a sale. I have not only been left without a vehicle, but repairs including what is still owed for the vehicle, totals more the vehicles blue book value.

Desired Settlement: I am unsure of what my possible settlment options are.

My desired settlement would be a full refund of Deposit put down on the vehicle, which after less than 60 days is no longer drivable and has $8200.00 in damages, not covered under warranty because damages were done PRIOR to when I recieved the vehicle.

Review: I gave the owner of Prime Auto Group $2060.00 for a down payment on a 2003 Cadillac Escalade. After a month of being given the run around and having to put full coverage insurance on the vehicle the dealership got shut down by the dmv and the town of East Windsor. I contacted the owner, [redacted], and he stated that he sent out a refund check via certified mail, but I have yet to recieve it.

Review: on Feb.19,2013 I made a deposit of 2,000.00 cash to prime auto group for a 2006 Acura Mdx. I was told that the vehicle would be ready for pick up on friday feb.22,2013 due to the vehicle needed some minor reapirs and also needed to be registered. I went on Feb.22, 2013 to pick up the vehicle and the Gentlemen ([redacted]) stated that he was unable to get the vehicle registered due to he didnt have the title and needed to locate the title. I explained to him that I had no vehicle and I was upset that I was promised that the truck would be ready for me on Feb.22,2013 so he gave me a temporary loan contract to use his dealer plate and drive the Mdx over the weekend and that he would take care of everything the following Tuesday. While driving with the Dealership plate and older gentlemen hit the rear end of the truck and left the scene. I was able to take down his license plate number and I called the police, and I called the dealership to inform [redacted] (Sales Rep/owner) that someone had hit the truck and their was damages. I sat and waited for the police for almost 3 hours. [redacted] informed me that I should just go home cause he stated that he would get in trouble with me using his dealer plate and the truck was in an accident with the dealer plate, he stated that he would pay for light that got damaged on rear of truck and for me to go home cause I was with my 6mth old son. The following week I spoke with [redacted] and he stated that he was still waiting on parts for the truck and that he was sorry for the delay, On march 15,2013 [redacted] told me he was getting another Acura Mdx 2006 from the Auction and he would just switch the Mdx that I had for the new one coming from auction.Everyday I would call to check satus of new mdx and to see when we would swap vehicles and try to figure out when the vehicle would be registered with my plates, so that I wasnt still on dealer plates. On march @@,2013 I called the dealership to talk with [redacted] and figure out what was going on because I was already frustrated!!!
