Review: On March 14, 2013 I [redacted] entered into a contract with Prestigious Homes, LLC ([redacted]) to build a custom built new home located at [redacted]. At the time I resided out of state and much of the communication took place by email and to a lesser extent by telephone. House was completed in October 2013, but I did not move back from out of state until March 2014. Prestigious Homes, LLC breached the contract by violating item number 9 and 13 of the contract and has refused to correct and address the problems with the house. Prestigious Homes, LLC refuses to fulfill the one year warranty for new home construction which started on February 2014 when the certificate of occupancy was obtained. Prestigious Homes, LLC stated I have lived in the home for five months and enough time has passed where he does not have to come and do the warranty repairs. Issues exist with the electrical, front porch, back deck, exterior paint job, landscaping which contractor has ignored and not addressed and the plumbing and heating and air conditioning. Materials and workmanship were substandard according to industry standards for a custom built new house. Light switches do not work properly and are faulty. Please contact me if additional information is needed. Thank you. Sincerely, [redacted]Desired Settlement: 1) Prestigious Homes, LLC honors and fulfills the one year warranty on the home for the work performed.2) Makes the necessary repairs to replace the substandard materials he used to construct the back deck.3) Makes the necessary touch up painting to address the substandard exterior painting of the house.4) Replaces the exterior air handler duct that he destroyed when I had no hot water.5) Replaces light switches that do not work properly and fixes the poorly installed plumbing fixtures.
