Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:The company prestige admitted guilt and completely gave me the run around after they promised to make right,it was agreed in my home before all parties including the professional they brought as a neutral party by the name of *** *** that the couches were soap stained,Cold and damp spots were still located more then a week after the demonstration, they were prone to mold and my warranties were void due to there mistake.I have no intentions in taking advantage of any kind of company regardless there age as I'm being accused of by Prestige Inc.My only interest is becoming whole,This company came into my home to sell there product,I did not go to them.I tried every route to make good.As the text messages attached will prove they admitted guilt and agreed to make right. But did not stand by there word.I am at a huge loss and it continues to grow. Before I take Legal action against the company I will try to give another opportunity to meditate.Thank you.

In March, [redacted] put a post on Facebook, 'One room, free shampoo". [redacted] contacted us and said he wanted his sectional done! We sent [redacted] to his house. [redacted] did not shampoo the whole couch. Later [redacted] contacted [redacted] about his couch being ruined. (Sent pictures, nothing wrong...
with them). Then I, [redacted], contacted [redacted] so we could agree to see the couch. [redacted], [redacted] and I all went to see the couch. There was nothing wrong with the couch. We explained that it was the shampoo residue left on top which is why it felt so icky, dry and stiff and that [redacted] must have used too much shampoo. We apologized and said we could fix it by sucking up all the residue In vacuum mode and then reshampooing. [redacted] agreed and set an appointment for us to go back on Friday (3 days later when he had more time). Found out his couch is 6+ years old, then he cancelled on us and said we just need to reimburse him $2000. I told him that I understood and I would have to talk about it with my head boss. Being that we did not shampoo his whole couch and there is nothing wrong with it and the couch was definitely not in new condition to begin with (6 years old), we did not agree to paying that. We called [redacted]. He didn't answer so we left a message stating that we can come reshampoo and get it looing a lot better than before and asking if he would prefer not to accept our services, offering to pay for another shampoo company to shampoo his couch Instead. He never contacted us back.I firmly believe that this is just his way of trying to take advantage of myself, being that we are young business owners.
This is my response to the settlement offer made by Prestige Inc in the amount of $550.00.That offer is insulting and will not be accepted,The company has acted very UN professional in the way of admitting guilt and agreeing to pay the total amount, then not returning phone calls or text messages,,They have on paper accused me and my family of lying and trying to take advantage of the owners because they are young, which in my eyes is defamation of character,Then they are minimizing the amount owed to a ridiculous amount,The company and representative are not gonna make the decision on what they see fit,There is no reason for me to be out over 2500 dollars in furniture. The only offer I will make is one in the amount of 2,300 dollars to settle out of court. This amount is total reimbursement of the couches that were ruined and in need of being replaced,Or that the company replaces the couches with a set that is the same brand and has the same features I paid for when I purchased,This was a deal that was previously made by the company before all this. They are in the messages..If the company refuses I will be filling in cival court no later then I get a response or the end of June. The suit will include total amount of my couches, filling and court costs, reimbursement of the couches I've been renting from [redacted],storage fees of the ruined molded couches, time loss,Any and all professional opinions from company's to assess the damage from a neutral party any and all distress damages I'm entitled too.I've been more then fair and tried giving these guys the benefit of making right,And in return I get accusations and a total run around. This needs to be resolved. This is Respectfully submitted.Thank You.
