Our contract clearly states a partial sale and we agreed on us being at home because of my wifes disability and our pets before we signed contract, other wise we would have used another companyAs far as leaving the first day and begging to come back,we never left and I ,we don't need to beg to enter our home. One little jar broke but *** had no problem taking a five dollar bill from me.Stabbed a knife in the door?? Um no.I would open the garage before 10:am only because we don't smoke in the house, and if someone did show up early I would them in the driveway and point to the sign I put out and tell them to come later as per ***s instruction. If *** had a problem with me and my wife being at home he had no problem asking me to keep an eye on people in the house, placing sold signs on items that sold, and he even asked me to get in my car to place a sign three blocks down the streetNot bad for a guy "drinks all day".I never gave a bible away, it was not mine to give away.Sale ended at 5:pm so around 4:- 4:I would have a beer It's my house after all, and about that time *** would enjoy a beer with me, ask him about Miller Fortune beer. One of his female employees would on the other hand would sit in a chair and drink and become obviously buzzed.Toward the end of the sale to stop all the sitting and texting we took chairs away, so then they would sit in the house leaving me to stay in the garage to make sure nothing walked. We received a post dated check and a manifest of what sold and for how much, but there are several items that I know sold for more than twenty five dollars, manifest only lists things twenty five dollars or more.(note to Revdex.com email me and I can give you the number of a former employee who can back all this up

everyday ,intervening with our business. We asked them not to drink alcohol during sale and they did. [redacted] destoyed many items of our and got very violent for no reason and she stabbed a knife in the door and called us over 50 times and we have the voice mails to prove this. We DO NOT drink at sales and we do not drink at all for that matter. [redacted] opened up the Estate sale at 8:00 a.m. and started running our sale before we even got there and he was selling beneath us keeping the money. We caught them and we were about to leave . Review: company had an estate sale at my mother's home at [redacted] the middle of May. Have been waiting since the end of the sale to get paid. Whenever I call he keeps coming up with one excuse after another why he hasn't mailed the 2 checks. His latest is that the check is in the mail. I've been very patient but I feel that this has been more than enough time. They also did not leave the place in very good condition which their advertising says they do. Not done very professionally.Desired Settlement: Waiting to get paid for the sale.

Response:
The reason for late payment is because we took items from [redacted]'s house on consignment for her as a favor to sell at other estate sales because we did not do well at her sale. It is hard to sell items so fast so we were kind enough to take them from one sale to another. Del and [redacted] spoke last week and Del told her he is sending the check which he did yesterday. We are sorry that it took a while, perhaps she may have thought that we would sell them right away? We need to be told if she was unhappy about the cleaning because other wise we will not know. We would have gone back and listened to what she was unhappy about and fixed the problem but we were never told anything? So to [redacted] we apologize and did our best for you and hope you understand. Thank you very much and you should be getting your check very soon.
Thank you,
Sincerely, Prestige Estate sales
Review: On May 26th I signed a contract with Prestige Estate & Moving Sales for an estate sale of property at [redacted]; with the sale to take place on June 13th, 14th, and 15th. Following the last date of sale we were asked to wait 10 working days for bidders to pick up their purchases and for Prestige to clean up the house and discard leftover items.
In the days following the last date of sale, June 15th, we found it necessary to repeatedly contact Prestige as well as one of the bidders to make arrangements to pick up the property they purchased. During the 10 working days following the sale, as stated in paragraph 15 of the contract, Prestige failed to return and clean up the house, discard left over items or even pick up the folding table their staff was using.
We have repeatedly contacted Prestige asking for an inventory of what was sold and our share of the sale proceeds, which is to be 2/3rd's of the sale price.
To date [redacted] has only been argumentative and verbally abusive.Desired Settlement: I am asking for an inventory of everything that was sold and a certified check for my share of the proceeds.

Response:
This is in response to [redacted]'s complaint against our company.
There were no bidders to pick up purchases, only one lady that had already bought items and [redacted] said she would let her in to pick them up so we agreed on it. As of [redacted] contacting us several times is simply untrue. She called only ONE time. We did tell here we had 10 days to sell items after last day of sale. She then proceeded to sell the items without our permission to a friend WHILE still under contract. We never went back to clean because she stated (and we have a recording of everything) that she didnt want us to come back and just wanted the whole thing over with and she said she just wanted to do it herself. We offered her to take other items that did not sell on consignment for her and she said no,she would give it to charity, NOT TRUE! ONLY to find out she sold the items and made a deal under our nose while still under contract to her friend. So she is not being truthful here at all. She was a VERY clean lady and VERY clean house and made every one where booties on their feet and we were very nice to her and followed what she requested. We were surprised by her behavior. We did have a table left over and we asked her to give it free to her lady friend because it wasnt worth it to go all the way to [redacted] for a folding table, she said fine so she cleaned the house herself. The ONE time that she called she asked how much she made. We responded that you will know within 15 working days of the last day of the sale held and she got upset? It is stated clearly in the contract. As for her to say [redacted] was argumentative and abusive is simply not true. What happened there was , Del my partner asked her if she would please give the 2 men who came ALL THE WAY TO [redacted] FROM MILWAUKEE JUST TO HELP HER OUT! THEY CAME AND CARRIED MANY HEAVY ITEMS FROM HER SIDE OF THE HOUSE (THEY LIVE IN SIDE BY SIDE) that was on her second floor, such as very heavy currio cabinets, heavey large tv's, etc. [redacted] asked her if she would please give a tip to them and she refused? It was very sad that she didnt even say Thank You or offer them a tip? Instead she made us pay them, not fair! So [redacted] said to her, you are a very mean person and its not nice how you are treating us and he said god will punish you for your actions and he also said that She has to sleep with the guilt at night. That was it, so I hardly call that
argumentative and abusive. We then thought of suing her for breach of contract and I said no, just leave it be and pay her. So she will be getting a check by this Saturday or Monday with inventory accounting.
Thank you very much and I wish she would not lie, its wrong.
Sincerely [redacted]

We hired Prestige for the estate sale our my home.
1.They brought in 8 tables of their own items to sell as well as placed their items all over my furniture for sale. (Stated it was in the contract that they could bring some of their own items in.) Felt as thought they used my home for a venue for their sale.
2. Prices were set extremely high the first day of the sale and a sign on the door stated 35% off. Percent offs were changed daily. We were told by the initial patrons that the prices were ridiculous and then items were practically given away on the last day.
3. They damaged my front wood door and wood dining room floor. They would not consent to my request of not setting up their sale table in my dining room. Repairs had to be completed to the door and the floor. Their answer was 'things happen'. Our house offer had been accepted and maintaining condition of home was critical.
4. There was no itemizing of items less than $25. We had the basement, garage and kitchen filled with items of this value but they only totaled $200 for all of those items on their invoice.
5. They would not clean up the last day of the sale, said they would come back another day which caused a lot of inconvenience.
6. The contract stated that we would receive our check in 15 working days and that did not happen, it was 20 working days before we got check.
7. We attempted to contact them to deal with our disputes and were told that they do not have any contact with the public after a sale. We have had other estate sales that never compared to the NIGHTMARE of working with this company. We do not recommend them to anyone. It was one of the worst experiences we have had.
Review: My wife and myself decided to use this company to downsize our belongings for an eventual home sale. contract clearly states partial estate sale. his employees would sit all day and drink and get high, and when this was brought to [redacted]'s attention nothing was done. My wife found a ring in an employees lunch bag that was left on a table overnight, when confronted the next day about that it was passed off as an accident. An employee approached [redacted] about a bible that she said we said it was OK to take for free, not true the girl stole and he did nothing about it even after we said she is no longer welcome in our home. She was here the next day. We were told that we had a privalage to remain in the house our house because my better half is disabled, we also have pets. There's alot more to this tail of woe but to this day 10/27/14 have only heard of sorry excuses and false promises, still waiting for payment since mid september. He claims we broke the [redacted]Desired Settlement: This company sold our property as a third party and collected cash money with a 30% commision and kept it all, what kind of person rips off a disabled women?

Response:
- unorganized (heaps of clothes, etc.)display of items for sale
- selling of items not authorized to sell (curtains, shelves, etc.)
- beer bottles thrown in front yard bushes by estate workers
- final"clean up" by church group not satisfactory and bathroom mirror and recycle bin taken
- list of items sold over $25 not accurate

I was extremely pleesed with Heather and Del and their attention to detail and straight forward honesty.
Happy Estate sale shopper
The Company called PRESTIGE Estate Sales with Cheep Rummage sale looking signs posted. Was the worsted estate sale I have ever been too. Dirty items place on floor hard to look at, and the worker was a mean man not friendly at all, he did not care about the customer's. I thought these businesses were working to make money not drive it away. Mistake #2 Stopped at one more of there sales same man working, walked out never too Stop at this company's sale again. Items way over priced, bad customer service all the way around....... Maybe clients that hire this co. should go and check out there own sales. Bad customer experience.
