I took my vehicle in for a wheel alignment and lost use of the vehicle for days, paid $146.29, and the work was not properly performed As far as I can tell no work occurred They inspected the vehicle and gave me a report of other perceived problems, but I didn't ask for that- I asked for a wheel alignment and the vehicle pulls to the left as it did when it arrived Wheel alignment would have solved this problem I don't really see a place to go from here The trust is breached I think a refund is the only realistic solution If I bring the car back for service there, someone could be angry and do something bad to the vehicle out of spite Either Ewald decided not to do the work, or an employee decided not to do the work, or an unqualified employee was unsupervised and did poor quality work with no understanding of what was required, but in any event it appears THAT NOTHING HAPPENED I didn't bring the vehicle there for a problem I was excited about a solutio
This is the most unprofessional dealership I have ever experiencedMy husband exchanged a series of emails this morning with Lauren and Christine regarding a used vehicle we were interested in, ending with my husband telling them we would be there to test drive the vehicle this afternoon around 3:We drove miles with a fussy one-year-old in tow only to be not acknowledged for minutes of driving around the lot looking for the car and not finding itUpon entering the showroom, at least salesmen were standing around idle but did not give us the time of dayI had to say hello to one first, and he could not be bothered to ask if we needed helpFinally we asked at the sales desk and Alex (Idle #that I had to acknowledge first) was asked to help usThere was a lot of fooling around back and forth to and from 'the back' (while I am meanwhile wrangling an impatient child...thanks, I'll just show myself to that adorable playroom, which was the only redeeming feature of this poor excuse for a business) before Alex comes out and informs us that the vehicle is not on the premises because yesterday it was taken to 'the shop' to have a problem worked on and he didn't know when it would be backWhen I informed him that my husband had been emailing someone about it and it had been understood that we were coming to look at the car today and we shlepped all the way to the Milwaukee area from halfway across the state, he looked like a deer in headlights and stuttered something like 'oh really?' No apology, or offer to bring out a sales manager to apologize or explain why my husband wasn't informed by email or phone to not bother coming, or even to offer a deal on another car! We left irate and appalledWe wasted hours and a tank of gas for nothingMy husband has been checking his emails since we left in case the individuals he was corresponding with have bothered to acknowledge this business faux pas but apparently this is business as usual for them and we have heard nothing
