Subject: Dispute for Premium Electronics

I was overcharged $2300 by these guys, in scams where I was told that if I bought more, the prior items would be free (but no refund). I was in NYC for half a day before leaving to go to Canada on a cruise. I told them I wanted a small camera for the cruise. They targeted me at someone who could not easily return products.

I went to purchase a camera on September **, 2013 in Times Square NY. I wanted to buy the NIkon CoolPix camera. The salesman went through a whole slew of pitches about all the different cameras then agreed to sell me this camera for $120 telling me that it was listed at $280. The actual item is below. It isn’t the waterproof camera I thought I was getting.

This I was told was $2200. If I bought this, they would charge me for all items (see charge $1741 on same date) and refund the other two purchases which they didn’t. So I was charged $1741.99, $250.39 and $870.99 (total 2863.37) for merchandise that is worth $524.00.

They would not give me boxes or receipts. Eve with the last charge which I expected was the total, they ripped me off over $1200. I have not used the items, the video camera that I thought was a Sony doesn’t work. I am happy to return all items for a full refund. I am very upset that my phone number was given to the merchant. If you read their reviews, the Revdex.com and other sites have tons of complaints from their scams. They showed me fake prices on [redacted] and really harassed me.

The customer came to our show room and bought lens for DSLR camera ,pocket size Nikon camera, mini projector, Power juice battery pack, few high speed memory, accessories, cases, connection HDMI cable ,etc.

Our policy conspicuously posted. No refund exchange only within 10 days and printed on the sales draft she signed and on the itemized bill,(copy enclosed).

What we understand that she wants to return the goods she bought after her vacation is over. sorry we don't accept returns after one month and a half, as we indicated, our policy is very clear.

Review: I bought what I thought was a brand new [redacted] cyber shot camera in April 2015 At Premium electronics on [redacted] in [redacted]. I have used it for one week and now it has a discoloration on the lens which shows up on my pictures. I have contacted [redacted] and they can't help me because the camera is a 2011 model Not a 2015 Camera which I was told at Premimum Electronics.It is not under warranty any more. I am really burning about the whole situation. I have contacted the store many times and only get an answering machine and they never never answer my call. I will never buy anything again in [redacted] again because I am not sure who I can trust.Desired Settlement: I would like a brand new camera not one that is 4 years old. I thought I was buying a brand new camera not one that is 4 years old. Shame on Premium Electronics who took advantage of nice hard working Americans.
