Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] Simply irrelevant comments by this dealer We brought our car to their lot they and they alone inspected the car and determined what key to order This was intended to be a back up key in case our current key was lost If at any point they had indicated that in order to use the key we were purchasing we would have to change our current equipment, which again they inspected, and is in fine working order, we would never have ordered a key Our car and key work fine They did not do their job and now they want us to pay for their lack of diligenceWhen they determined the key did not work they offered to install a new $cylinder they claim we need to use the new key this was never stated to us and I believe it is an unethical business practice and a way for them to generate additional revenueThis would also render our current key uselessI cannot even comprehend they are arguing this it was their job to order the right key after their inspection of our vehicle and provide us with a working keyAs an aside doing this would render our currently working key useless leaving us right where we started after paying them for a job NOT well done Regards, [redacted]
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted]. . Simply irrelevant comments by this dealer. We brought our car to their lot they and they alone inspected the car and determined what key to order. This was intended to be a back up key in case our current key was lost. If at any point they had indicated that in order to use the key we were purchasing we would have to change our current equipment, which again they inspected, and is in fine working order, we would never have ordered a key. Our car and key work fine. They did not do their job and now they want us to pay for their lack of diligence. When they determined the key did not work they offered to install a new $1200 cylinder they claim we need to use the new key this was never stated to us and I believe it is an unethical business practice and a way for them to generate additional revenue. This would also render our current key useless. I cannot even comprehend they are arguing this it was their job to order the right key after their inspection of our vehicle and provide us with a working key. As an aside doing this would render our currently working key useless leaving us right where we started after paying them for a job NOT well done
