Beware! I brought some coins in to these traveling buyersI was told that my Morgan dollars were only worth $10-$eachThey also told me my Peace dollar was only worth $Had I taken their offer, they would have given me $for my silver dollars I also brought in some gold chainsThey offered me $1,for them I went down the road to a local jewelry store, and I was SHOCKED! They offered me $2,for the gold chains, and $for my dollars($each for my common date Morgans, and $for my Peace dollar) PLEASE use caution when selling to these people, and always get a second opinion
My mother passed away and I took her jewelry box to them to look overThey told me that they knew what pieces they were looking for, so of course I expected them to be selectiveI made the mistake of sitting on the opposite side of the table from the person looking at each piece of jewelry, so with the lid up I could only see that he was looking at each piece individually but not see exactly what he was doingI had also taken a $bill and a pound English coin plus some other foreign coinsHe offered me $for everything and I was fool enough to accept, as I knew much of the jewelry was costume jewelryWhen I got home I opened each drawer of the fairly large jewelry box to see which pieces he didn't want and was shocked to find the entire box empty! I realized that I made the great mistake of trusting their charming manners and that I actually sat there passively while, in effect, letting them rob me blind right in front of me! I wish I had read the previous review on this site - I wouldn't have taken anything over to themI've been kicking myself ever sinceI think they must offer around cents on the dollar I could have made several times the amount they offered by selling it in a garage sale! Don't make my mistake
Beware!
