However, I did want to clarify with Premier Fitness that not only did I contact them by phone several times, but I also sent them emails, which I consider "in writing", notifying them that I cancelled my membership and that I did not authorize anymore transactions from my bank account? I feel that Premier Fitness's contract is very misleading as when it was explained to me, it was a year membership.? I felt as a customer, that I was treated very poorly by staff? When I called and attempted to resolve the issue, they were very argumentative and told me that they would have the manager contact me, which I never received a response? ? When I emailed Premier Fitness, there was no reply or response acknowledging my concerns.Turning me over to collections for a debt that I did not owe, was very frustrating [redacted]

The term of the agreement is twelve months. Upon expiration of the term of this agreement, the club may adjust themonthly dues. Dues are paid in advance monthly. They are paid via electronic funds transfer (EFT) or credit card debit. We will automatically deduct your payment from your designated credit/ debit card or bank account on the first business day of the month. The member may terminate their membership after the terms set forth by notifying the club in writing sixty days (60 days) prior to the termination date and paying allamounts the owed to the club in full. A written notice of termination must be delivered to management during business hours. Unless the member terminates his/ her membership, the member will be automatically renewed on a month to month basis at the expiration of the term.The preceding paragraph is directly quoted word for word from the contract that [redacted] signed on 7/29/14.
