We at Premier Building & Restoration take accusations and complaints very seriously. As this response is NOT an official response other than to put a response on record, an official response from our corporate attorney will be filed shortly.

is not the policy of Premier Building & Restoration to engage in unprofessional behavior, nor ask a customer to sign off on completed work and THEN pay for work authorized by contract. Our policy to collect a percentage of funds up front to cover labor and materials is clearly stated in our contract and upon final invoicing a customer has to sign off as a certificate of completion before we can or will accept final payments. ALL work was completed and follow up punch list items have been accomplished and Signed OFF on by the customer.
We have forwarded this complaint to our attorney who is going to depose all parties including Ms. [redacted] in preparation for potential legal action.
In addition, the electricians bill was NOT part of the scope of work and therefore NOT something we as a company invoiced for. AS she changed her mind on several of the items she wanted to accomplish for her house she was advised of the costs of each item and personally accepted the responsibility of each item and therefore the financial responsibility for each changed item from the original scope.
Ms. [redacted] requested a double french door to be installed in an upstairs bedroom in place of an existing window where the electric line in the wall had to be re routed. It would normally be re routed around the door casing however given the issues faced we advised her that this was a case where she would be billed directly by the electrician for this emergency service as it was about to rain. The electrician had to pull carpet back and re route by drilling holes in the floor joists to accomplish the re route Ms. [redacted] accepted the responsibility and then when she received the bill she pressed Premier Building & Restoration to pay it. We, if we had invoiced for the electrician, would have certainly accepted our responsibility in paying this bill.
We have all documentation showing where we did not charge on an invoice nor final invoice for any services pertaining to this segment of the project.
She then began harassing Premier Building & Restoration repeatedly trying to cajole us into assuming the responsibility of the bill. We have the texts showing this as well as our responses.
As a certified restoration company it is our policy to document via pictures before during and after shots of each project. We apply this policy to all projects including this one. We would be happy to provide our documentation and pictures to the Revdex.com as well as our CRM notes which are accumulated throughout each project for just these types of events.
AS per our policy on warranty issues. Should a customer find an issue with any structural work we have performed we provide a one year warranty for these items. Paint, a wearable, item, is not covered once applied and signed off on. Our painter was asked to make several additional trips at his expense to perform "touch ups". When she was advised of the need to charge her additional fees for future visits for paint touch ups she became upset.
No painter in his right mind is going to warrant a wearable item because it would cost him his business.
She does have the right to contact us for warranty issues so we may address them.
As stated previously, this is an unofficial response to her complaint. A formal response will be provided by either Premier Building & Restoration or our attorney during the next 10 days.

After reading his responce all I can say is he likes to throw threats around and be insulting..All I want is for the job to be done correct..So in order to get this done/redone I need to be paid back what he didn't do so I can find someone else to do it...I invite you in and see for yourself..Come one come all just call first for I could be out on a call. Please refund me my money and lets put this behind us and move forward..I am a very busy senior and time wasted on this project is foolish time that could have been used in another special way.

I have now recvd a letter from his atty..I can't understand why the job just couldn't be done...I need a refund from this business to resolve this complaint...The electrical bill does belong to Premire it was part of putting in the french doors..Noone ever asked me if they could cut the upstairs carpet/padding all the way across the room..The carpet repair do not work so I again have to pay to get it repaired correctly. I could go on and on...Like I said before come and see for yourself, come one and all just call first for I may be on a call
