Failure to send promised refund for vehicle hold
I worked with David L*** and Jeremy G*** looking to trade in my leased Mazda to purchase a new vehicleOn 1/20/Montrose Mazda Kent charged my Amex credit card $(something I said no to twice before being pressured to agree) to hold a vehicle for a day that was to be refunded if I did not purchase the vehicleI did not end up buying the car and was told my refund would be issuedHowever, I have now inquired three times about being refunded without satisfactory responseIn February I was told that there was an issue refunding to an Amex but I can expect a check in the mailI have yet to receive this and it's been over two monthsI have sent text messages to the salesperson, and filled out a contact form online, to which I received an automatic reply about buying a new vehicleI believe it's been more than enough time to refund me such a small amount
The absolute worst experience that I have ever had at a dealership/trying to buy a car Went in to purchase a car that had an estimated selling price of around $19,Told the salesman, who was one of the most unprofessional salesman I have ever met, what my price per month would have to be to buy the carWe went thru the motions, and he informed me that they would never be close to my desired price, so I left About a week after my time at the dealership, I started to get mail from different creditors telling me about the outcomes of the credit checks/requests for the vehicle in questionThis dealership tried to get me financed for $29,500, which is far too much for the vehicle, and on top of that, they tried different creditors to get me financed, which hit my credit score really hardIt disgusts me that they tried to overcharge me for a vehicle, without my knowledgeThey would have scammed me out of almost $10,I have never been more upset or disappointed with a
I have experienced an array of problems dealing with Montrose Mazda of Kent in Kent, OhioThe first problem was being quoted the wrong price over the phone, and overpaying $1000+ dollars in person after the saleswomen by the name of Mariah W***, who is no longer with Montrose Mazda of Kent
Prior to purchasing the product I was promised via text message a full detail of the vehicle, which did not happen when I picked up the vehicle it was in the same condition as the test drive, and I was lied to by the saleswomen
After the vehicle was pulled up to me there was a tire pressure sensor was on, I asked the saleswomen to have the service department fill the tires up to PSI requirements for the vehicleNeedless to say, she brought the vehicle back a few minutes later with the tire pressure sensor onI purchased this car at the end of October in and it is now mid-January of and the sensor has never went off
After leaving the dealership I realized the right mirro

I a writing to respond to the complaint filed by our customer, [redacted]. On July 12, 2016 we entered into a contract to remodel the first floor and build a second floor onto their existing home. Once the work started the customer advised us at our pre-construction meeting that he believed the...
home had no footings. Footings are part of the foundation and in my 15+ years in the building industry I have never seen a home without footings. I advised the architect and he decided to verify that there were footings. He went out to the jobsite with one of our people and dug holes and drilled core samples that verified the customer was correct, the home had no footings. We asked the architect for a solution that would solve not only the issue for the home if nothing was done but also would allow us to safely build a second floor onto the home. He created new drawings that solved these issues that involved new footings in the basement, structural beams and columns and a significant amount of labor to complete the required repairs to the home. This is an unforeseen circumstance and is specifically mentioned as all NJ Builders have in their contracts for a remedy. The solution including the architectural drawings to show the work to the Johnson's was brought to them with a Work Order Change Form on September 27, 2016, This work order is attached as a pdf. You will note the actual cost of the repairs was $8,125.00 but we decided to issue a credit to them from our miscellaneous account to help out this young family, because frankly it was not their fault their home did not have footings (Nor was it ours) but since we had a lower incidence of call backs for warranty service in 2016 we decided to credit $4,706.00 from our Miscellaneous Fund to help them out. This was all detailed on the signed and approved work order change form. There is no charge on the Work Order for Structural Engineering as suggested in the complaint. The $8,125.00 cost that we mitigated to $3,419.00 with our credit was for the costs associated with the columns, beams, concrete and labor to perform the required repairs specified by the architect. There were no charges for Structural Engineering as the signed work order change clearly shows. Please feel free to contact me at [redacted] if you have any questions or need further documentation. Our company does things right and we do not do any of the things this customer suggested in her complaint. Frankly, this complaint is a waste of resources for both of our organizations.Steven F[redacted]
