Review: I am always on time for my payments without no issues for the last year and a half. Pace will not work with us just until the 30th of one month its not even skipping into the next but not wair until the 30th to do a payment of our car because of Christmas holiday. my son cant even have a Christmas because they wouldn't wait and want to repossessed the car if we did not pay them then we have to pay them because that's the only means of transportation so my husband can get back and forth to work I will never deal with this company ever again whatever you do do not invest your money in this company they won't even help their best customers.Desired Settlement: as one of there on time paying customers with no issues whatsoever yes I would like a result of letting us wait until the 30th to pay. I am NOT hurting by asking but as a good customer I would think that they would want to treat their customers with some trust after a year of paying on time

Response:
To Whom It May Concern,We have received the complaint referenced above and thank the Bureau forthe opportunity to respond usingthis unbiased format. While we appreciate that the financial situation of many families can change during the holiday season, we donot offer skipped or deferred payments. Payments to be added to the “back end” of the loan may ultimatelycost the customer more money, and if a payment is skipped many customers cannot get current easily once theloan is past due which will negatively impact their credit. The customers were advised of this on December 2,2014 when they called in stating that they may have to skip December’s payment because of Christmas. We thank the customers for staying in contact with us during this time and we welcome the opportunity to workwith them, but skipping a payment is not an option. At this time, their account remains past due thirty one daysin the amount of $434.90. Skipping this payment would put their account severely past due, which companypolicy does not allow. We are more than willing to schedule a phone call or meeting where it can bedetermined how much additional money would need added to their regular payments throughout the year sothat they are paid ahead at the holiday season next year and may be able to skip a payment at that timebecause they would be paid ahead. However, we never recommend skipping a month, even if paid ahead, because interest would be accruing during that time.Again, we thank you for the opportunity to respond and welcome another conversation about this with thecustomers.Sincerely[redacted]
