Thank you for reaching out to us regarding this issueFor purpose of clarity the complainant will be identified as [redacted] ** in this response. On approximately 7/13/Precision Care Services performed power washing and window cleaning for [redacted] at her homePrior to the completion of this work [redacted] and I had discussed how the painter had previously damaged her windows during the prep of painting her homeSpecifically, by pressure washing her home.explained to [redacted] that our cleaning process is a low pressure process (called softwash) which is barely as powerful your standard garden hose and was not capable of damaging windowsI further explained to [redacted] that if we damaged her windows (i.ebroken panes, frames, trim etc.) We would "take care of it" in a professional manner consistent with all of Precision Care Services policies.Upon completion of our work on the 17" our inspection revealed no damage to ANY of the windows on the home. Two days later [redacted] *reported the issue to us and showed us the photos of the window with a leaky sealWater had seeped in between the dual panes on her basement bathroom windowUpon consideration of the of the photos and [redacted] *'s report we determined there was zero damage done to the window by our cleaning process and it was in fact an old or defective seal on the window which allowed the water to get in between the glassTo be clear, either the seals had aged and decayed over time (as this is for all double paned windows) and outside of their warranty had failed allowing the water inOr the manufacturer had improperly installed the seal which if the window was under ten to fifteen years old should be covered by the manufacturer's warranty and needed to be replaced by the manufacturer as they should be able to repel all water. This information deliver from over years of experience in power washing and window cleaning.in either case the condition is undetectable by ANY window cleaning contractor and is beyond any reasonable inspection's scope to identify in advanceThus it is and has always been the policy ofPrecision Care Services that we will take no responsibility for the leaky window seals under any Conditions. Finally, to be clear we at Precision Care Services maintain there was no damage caused by our Work on [redacted] *'s window neither were any promises made which would make us in any way culpable for the replacement costsAnd deny her desired outcome and settlement. However, we felt we had a good rapport with the customer and wished to continue working with them and so as a goodwill gesture to [redacted] we offered one of the following:O Scash payment deliverable in 8-weeks (SOP we pay out refunds each trimester based on a nine-month season as they are infrequent to non-existent in our five years in business)O $in house Credit towards future services (as customer was entirely satisfied with the Work we performed the next day) which we had already submitted an estimate for. Both of these came close to Compensating based on depreciation or would be a great bonus if it were later identified as a manufacturer's defectThese offers are in fact both above and beyond the "industry standard" and very generous[redacted] accepted the offer of $cash and since the offer was made, we've received no contact from [redacted] regarding any further dissatisfaction with the payment delay or the offer of the paymentThe check for $has been submitted and should be received by [redacted] sometime next week.As such we were surprised by the letter from the Revdex.com.At this time, we deny any liability for the claim of damage to the customer's window to the amount of S243.Additionally, we will address any of the customer's allegations we insinuated she was attempting to defraud us by stating unequivocally; we DO NOT in any way shape or form believe that [redacted] has attempted defraud Precision Care ServicesThis was clearly a misunderstanding which occurred when attempted to explain how these matters are handled on a daily basis in almost all Contractor and homeowner disputesWe appreciate everyone's feelings in this matter and we feel all have worked to resolve it professionally.Respectfully,Ken C [redacted] *

work [redacted] and I had discussed how the painter had previously damaged her windows during the prep of painting her home. Specifically, by pressure washing her home.explained to [redacted] that our cleaning process is a low pressure process (called softwash) which is barely as powerful your standard garden hose and was not capable of damaging windows. I further explained to [redacted] that if we damaged her windows (i.e. broken panes, frames, trim etc.) We would "take care of it" in a professional manner consistent with all of Precision Care Services policies.Upon completion of our work on the 17" our inspection revealed no damage to ANY of the windows on the home. Two days later [redacted]. reported the issue to us and showed us the photos of the window with a leaky seal. Water had seeped in between the dual panes on her basement bathroom window. Upon consideration of the of the photos and [redacted]'s report we determined there was zero damage done to the window by our cleaning process and it was in fact an old or defective seal on the window which allowed the water to get in between the glass. To be clear, either the seals had aged and decayed over time (as this is normal for all double paned windows) and outside of their warranty had failed allowing the water in. Or the manufacturer had improperly installed the seal which if the window was under ten to fifteen years old should be covered by the manufacturer's warranty and needed to be replaced by the manufacturer as they should be able to repel all water. This information deliver from over 15 years of experience in power washing and window cleaning.in either case the condition is undetectable by ANY window cleaning contractor and is beyond any reasonable inspection's scope to identify in advance. And deny her desired outcome and settlement. However, we felt we had a good rapport with the customer and wished to continue working with them and so as a goodwill gesture to [redacted] we offered one of the following:O S100 cash payment deliverable in 8-10 weeks (SOP we pay out refunds each trimester based on a nine-month season as they are infrequent to non-existent in our five years in business)O $200 in house Credit towards future services (as customer was entirely satisfied with the Work we performed the next day) which we had already submitted an estimate for. Both of these came close to Compensating based on depreciation or would be a great bonus if it were later identified as a manufacturer's defect. These offers are in fact both above and beyond the "industry standard" and very generous.[redacted] accepted the offer of $100 cash and since the offer was made, we've received no contact from [redacted] regarding any further dissatisfaction with the payment delay or the offer of the payment. The check for $100 has been submitted and should be received by [redacted] sometime next week.As such we were surprised by the letter from the Revdex.com.At this time, we deny any liability for the claim of damage to the customer's window to the amount of S243.Additionally, we will address any of the customer's allegations we insinuated she was attempting to defraud us by stating unequivocally; we DO NOT in any way shape or form believe that [redacted] has attempted defraud Precision Care Services.
