Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:My name is *** *** I had a previous claim *** for prairie hills apartments in Albuquerque New MexicoI have had 5+ complaints with a leaking roof in which it flooded every time, they claimed to have "fixed it" but I had to call times in the month of July once in August and in June is when it startedThey only sent me fixed tickets times ( 6/30/16- *** and 8/1/***) when I informed them I had these issues and could cause physical harm due to the flooding caused from the leak and me slipping they only provided a bucket, I requested to get out of my lease and they told me to file a request through this other company called karaz & associates APC their number is ###-###-####but never got a response and now that I have moved out they have billed me and took my deposit completelyI am requesting my full deposit back and a waiver of my lease closer fee due to the pain and suffering this place caused me mentally the stress of having to deal with this and flooded apartment became too much for my well being and it's not fair for them to do this to someone after requests to have it fixed in which they said they did but never actually did it right at allI had to just keep calling back for the same issueThanks for your help.*** ***###-###-####

June 29, 2016 To Whom It May Concern: Ms. [redacted] placed a work order about her leaking roof on April 11, 2016. The exterior repairs on the roof were completed on April 12, 2016. We always wait to make sure the roof is fixed before we repair the interior of the apartment. Therefore, Ms. [redacted] placed a...
work order on May 18, 2016 to complete the interior ceiling. This work was completed on June 1, 2016.Ms. [redacted] called on June 24, 2016 and said that her roof is leaking again. We are in the process of repairing this new leak. As you can see, she has not filed a complaint/work order every month since she's been here. Because her roof had not leaked for over a month after the initial work order in April, we assumed the problem had been resolved. Unfortunately, it looks as though there is a new leak that we were unable to predict. We are doing everything to resolve Ms. [redacted]'s complaints with her apartment. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns. Thank you, Brandy M[redacted] Community Manager
September 19, 2016To Whom It May Concern,Our primary goal is to create a quality living environment for all residents, and accordingly, upon being notified of the roof leak on April 12, 2016, maintenance immediately responded, inspected the unit, and coordinated a plan for responding to the issue. While we appreciate that the leak re-occurred due to inclement weather conditions throughout the area, we took all reasonable steps to respond to the condition and minimize inconvenience associated with the repairs. Our roofing vender performed repairs on 4/12, 6/1, 6/30, and 8/1 to ascertain the cause of the leak and repair the condition. Despite the exterior work, the interior condition remained fully habitable at all times.Unfortunately, Management cannot guarantee a unit free of maintenance issues, but we can guarantee a prompt response, which is what was provided throughout Complainant's tenancy. Based on the above, there is no basis to terminate the contract. If you have any questions or require any additional information, please let me know.Thank you for your courtesy and cooperation in this matter. Sincerely, Brandy M[redacted]Community Manager
