I found this company on Groupon and purchased a voucher I scheduled an appointment with Juan Berrios and he told me he would be here at 8:am today, January 27th I clearly asked him to let me know if something comes up or if he could not make it at that time because I would be taking off work No call or anything I called his cell phone at 919-412-no answer I call the Office number 919-550-still no answer I have left several messages Still no call back! Now when I call it goes straight to voice-mail So unprofessional! After I posted on his company facebook page, he sent me an email saying that he got into an accident with the truck He than tells me that the company has workers and are painters I'm very disappointed that out of employees, no one called me to let me know anything They still want answer my callsIGroupon did refund my money back

I got an estimate from powerhouse construction specially [redacted] of $1320 to install a fence. He stated that he could do it and needed a deposit of $660 in order to start. I wrote him a check for $660. The home owners association(HOA) has not approved installation of the fence so I had to cancel the initial setup date. We talked about another day but again no approval from the HOA. At that point I decided to cancel for now which I notified him of on 2 July 2014. As of today 30 July I am waiting on approval to put up the fence from my HOA, because it is not the authorized type fence for the community in which I live. There were no products ever delivered to my home for the fence to be completed. I have an email from [redacted] and he stated I am waiting on a refund from my supplier and I should have it by 18 July 2014 and will give you your refund no later than 21 July 2014 which I have the email showing that statement. I never received it and called him on 23 July 2014 he said I sent you a check you should have by 26 July 2014. No check came so I called him on the afternoon of the 28th of July 2014 and told him I have not received a check and he stated I will bring you the money tomorrow 29 July 2014 around 4:30pm. The company has refused to fix sagging gatesFor project [redacted] 2014/10/13 #XXXXX AXXXXXXXXX-XXA [redacted] Powerhouse construction employee [redacted] said to contact him for fence adjustment 6 month after completion in Oct 2014. After 3 attemptes to contact between Feb and April 2015 I contacted powerhouse construction. They advised me to hire a handy man. The gate adjustment should have been included in the contract as agreed upon. Powerhouse construction is refusing to fix structural issues on a pergola they build for me. I have been trying for 5 months now. I hired powerhouse construction to build a 16x12 pergola for $1800 in July 2014. I month after the construction I notices some structural issues with the pergola. The materials used as the cross beam is supporting the load and as a result there is a noticeable bend in the pergola. I contact [redacted](Owner) about 5 months to come and fix the issue but after several text messages, emails and phones he still haven't shown up to even take a look at the issue. He has been given me excuses since December 2014. I have waited for him at how several times after he promised to come but never showed up or called. Now I have a dangerous, unstable structure on my property that can collapse anytime and harm someone. Desired SettlementFix structural issues or pay for the cost to fix issue.

Prepaid for painting service. He never showed up. Said painters were in accident. Rescheduled. Didn't show up again. This time no return call, email. Scheduled painting for 8am 2/11/2015. Never showed. Called hours later to say his painters were in a car accident. Rescheduled for 8 am 2/13/2015. We moved furniture, etc to prepare for this. He never shows up again. This time no phone call, email or text after many messages to Juan, the apparent owner of the company. I prepaid for this painting as well.Desired SettlementWant others to beware.explain

Builder contractor [redacted] of Powerhouse construction took a $1,100.00 initial payment to build a shed but never did the work or gave me a refundBuilder contractor [redacted] of Powerhouse Construction of Clayton, NC took an initial payment of $1,100.00 on 06/16/14 to build a shed; two weeks later, via email, he promised he was in the process of ordering all needed materials to start the shed. Since then repeated requests via phone, text and email had failed to get any response from him to either start the project or refund the $1,100.00. There has been no response what so ever from him to explain why he has failed to fulfilled the contract he agreed to and build the shed or refund the money.Desired Settlement$1,100.00 refund.
