If the unit is registered, the parts warranty does extend? Your unit was not registered therefore you have parts coverage until 05/07/and 05/07/for the compressorHowever, the warranty does not cover laborThe only time labor would be covered is if an extended labor contract was purchased.? I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint It is nice for a large manufacturing company to hide behind the words of a "limited warranty" but clearly the cost of replacing a DEFECTIVE part that is expected to last years but instead last days, should not fall upon the consumer of such a productAs explained, this is a replacement coil for an air conditioning system that a consumer can not put in and therefore must higher a certified and licensed air conditioner expert which I didCost to install the initial time was $1,Dollars, then less than month later the same part fails due to Manufacturing (Daikin) DefectWe need to replace the unit again (which was covered as Defective) and my technician provides me a discount to $which I believe Daikin should payHow and why should this burden fall upon the consumer only days later on a part that is expected to last 3,days?
