past due for a balance of $13,We have requested multiple times both verbally and by written statement requesting the customer issue payment towards the balanceWe negotiated the delivery of one of their vehicles as a courtesy and was promised a partial payment at the time of that deliveryWhen calling to verify that the check was ready for my driver to pick up before driving over an hour to deliver the vehicle each direction with a second employee to follow him and drive him back to our business I discovered that their office did not have a check for us nor any knowledge of the exchange which we had scheduledI was unable to get *** on the phone nor her husband *** which is our primary contact who made the promiseAdditionally we agreed on obtaining their credit card information for the next installment due before 12/31/which I never received either as *** had promised to get me before the deliveryThe customer did not uphold their end of the agreement and therefore we did not deliver the vehicleAdditionally we typically do not deliver vehicles to customers, this was offered as a courtesyAfter four phone calls and four unanswered messages I finally received a phone call from *** late that same afternoon where he became verbally combative and used a hearty amount of profanity to express his dislike for me in a very personal wayAt that point I explained that he was welcome to pick up his vehicle at our place of business and to bring his payment with himThe phone call ended with his use of more profanityWe prefer not to send this account into collections and would rather attempt to reconcile the past due balance with the customerThis is a large balance and unreasonably delinquent at this pointAs for the second vehicle, it is in the process of repairThe customer will be notified upon it's completion

We are well aware of the delinquency of the accountThis is why we are wanting to resolve this issueLet me clarify, that when the Porterville Ford salesman made the 'over an hour' drive to acquire new clientele in town numerous times, the agreement with him was that we were going to have the vehicles delivered, to and fromThis was NOT a courtesy, it was the initial agreementWe could have simply gone to the local dealership to give them our business, but trying out new ventures, we decided to give Porterville Ford our business under that specific condition to which they agreed uponNot to mention the prices were lower after mentioning what we paid at our local dealership for parts and service costsTo gain our business, the then Service Manager, ***, agreed to cut us a deal along with the free delivery of the vehicles as long as we continued our business relationshipThere was a delivery arrangement made with Will, this is true, but untrustingly and unprofessionally he called "the office", which naturally knew nothing about the delivery or the payment, because like most professional offices, one department doesn't necessarily know what the other department is doingMy dispatch has no idea if the water bill was paid, for example, because it's not their job nor their responsibilityThe check is still in our office, in fact, awaiting the vehicle, but he choses to keep it hostageAs for the credit card allegedly promised, we normally don't give out a credit card to be kept on file, because we utilize them so frequently on day to day transactionsWe rather cut a check or a cashier's check to pay larger amountsIn addition, it was our understanding that the credit card on file rule that was to be implemented was to begin after the first of the yearI cannot deny or defend what was said between Sofiene (correct spelling) and Will, but understandably so, he was angered by Will's threat to put a lien on the vehicle, even after attempting to resolve the issueWe recently received a Demand for Payment letter from their Controller, *** ***, to which we immediately responded, and yet have not heard any sort of replyThe letter in part states that Porterville Ford is going to send us to Small Claims Court for the amont that we owe them of $9,First of all, Smalls Claims Court is only for amounts lesser than $5,0000, and secondly, the amounts Will and the Controller have are unequivocally differentSo, as I stated in my email to the Controller, our offer still stands of making a payment of $6,500.00, and we can arrange for a payment for the rest for a later dateAs for the other vehicle, I would rather them not work on it if Will's intention is to keep it hostage for months on end as wellI am shocked that it is currently being worked on, if as of late last week, the part we had been so anxiously anticipating had still not arrivedI would love some sort of reply, and a detailed understanding of the correct amount owed
