Firstly, Mid Century apologizes for our oversight in informing our customer they would be charged to repair a temporary dropIt is not Mid Century's policy to charge for repairing temporary dropsThe customer service representative who handled the initial call from the customer is fairly new in the organization and misspoke
Secondly, a technician repaired the temporary drop todayA JULIE will be called in the first of next week and the line will be buried next week after the JULIE is complete
Lastly, the customer service representative called Mr*** late this afternoon to apologize and inform him that the line will be buried next weekShe will also follwith Mr*** the first of the week to check the status of his service
A $goodwill credit has been applied to Mr***'s account

Ever since we filed this complaint, Midcentury has went above and beyond to fix this problemThis past week the workers have been working hard to fix and bury the line and keep us updatedWe are very pleased and appreciative of the fast and pleasant response from Midcentury! Thank you!

Dear Revdex.com:In regards to the consumer complaint referenced above, customer called Mid Century afterhours repair on Saturday, July 22, A Mid Century technician contacted the customer the same day and was told by the customer that they could wait until Monday, July 24, for
repair visitThe $weekend charge was incorrectly applied to the customer's account and reflected on his August bill statementthe $charge was reversed and credited on his September bill statement, along with the appropriate $repair charge from July 24th.The Customer deducted the $charge when paying his August bill which resulted in a balance dueBecause the $credit was applied to his September bill and reducing the amount of September's total charges this resulted in a duplicate credit to the customerFirst due to his deduction and second with the credit applicationhence, there is currently and outstanding balance of $on the customer's account.A customer service representative contacted Mr*** this morning and provided the above explanation and detailsMr*** made arrangements to pay the $75.00, which we will follow up to receivethe customer's service is not in jeopardy of being disconnected. Dear Revdex.com:In regards to the consumer complaint referenced above, customer *** *** called Mid Century on May 16, to request that services be disconnected effective may 19, Mid Century's business routine is that customer billing is produced the first business
day monthly with local charges billed in advance and long distance charges billed in arrearsMid Century allows for two bill cycles in order to allow any and all prorates, adjustments and long distance to applyTherefore, in this manner and as in routine, MrDewitt's final bill was produced with the July bill cycleA final bill that has a credit balance is processed within the billing system in the same month as the bill was issued and then sent to accounting for a refund check to be mailed to the customerI have confirmed with the accounting department that a refund check in the amount of $ will be mailed to Mr*** on July 21, at the address on record.I contacted Mr*** this morning and provided the above explanation and detailsI asked Mr*** if he had any questions and he replied "non"I feel Mr*** is satisfied with the outcome and this issue is resolvedPlease let me know if I can be of further assistance.Brenda ***Assistant mangerMid Century Communications***@midcentury.com
