05/27/2015 Polly's Service Center Nashville performed unauthorized work. Took my car in to Polly's Service Center, Nashville, for oil change expecting to pay $40.00. I was charged $100.67. I thought the counter woman was kidding. She said they had to replace the wiper blades, license plate bulbs, and rotate tires. All I wanted was an oil change, we were clear on that on drop-off. They never called for authorization for additional work. My wiper blades were fine, I replaced them not too long ago. I can get my [redacted] tires rotated for free. License plate bulbs not what I wanted and not authorized. A second woman in the office laughed at me the whole time. They did this to me once before on a smaller scale so I did not make an issue of it the first time. There is no need to bring a manager in to discuss what should not happen in the first place. I won't be back and will no longer refer them to friends and visitors. This could have been submitted as a scam report.
