they haven't completed the job per the contract. The started nov 1 of 2013 its may 5 the jobs not complete they tore brick off my house the roof leaked and damage my ceiling the garage floor is cracking up the concrete truck tore my driveway up left big holes in the yard where the dumpster was put trash in the brush outside my house tore my back door off and won.t replace the trim put holes in my den wall and won't fix threw razor blades and nail in my yard and I have picture of what they mess upDesired Settlementmoney back to complete the repairesBusiness Response This is another unfounded complaint intended to expand the scope of the contracted work at no added charge by threatening to file a Revdex.com complaint. The "final" punch list for this job has been completed three times over the past few months with the client continuing to add items totally unrelated to the contracted garage addition we built onto his home. Of course brick and roofing was removed to add on the attached garage and all of this has been put back into place for months. Any collateral damage due to the work completed has also been repaired. When the client entered into the agreement he was to perform certain work outside the scope of the contract such as filling the disturbed dirt in his yard where the dumpster was located (at his direction), painting, flooring and other finish items. As a bonus to the client in this contract we even hung and taped the drywall in the garage itself although this was included at "no added charge" to the contract. Unfortunately the client choses to ignore the reality of the comp work wanting even more such as fine sanding and priming the garage area and adding baseboard and door and window trim as to complete the garage into a room. Additionally, our portion of the contracted work was to be performed over the winter months at a reduced cost for the season and with an open ended schedule due to expected bad weather, another fact the client conveniently ignores. We have attempted to satisfy this client on numerous occasion putting added labor and materials into the project that are clearly outside the scope of the agreement but his requests have reached the point of being unreasonable such as wanting industry standard wood trim to be removed and a single brick installed in its place because the client "does not like the way that looks" Similarly the client continues to renege on his finishing responsibilities wanting us to add flooring thresholds, trim, fine finish drywall inside the garage and other items that were clearly never in the contract. We having sent two crews to this job as recently as last week to address his "never ending punch list" which includes practically all the items listed herein yet there continues to be "just a few more things" that he adds including items that we have made clear that we will NOT perform such as replacing the single brick. This site has been cleaned up for weeks now with the trash removed and the business regarding razor blades or nails is just more fantasy on his part to attempt to intimidate us with complaints such as this one. We have informed him on numerous occasions that we will not continue to address these items and that the job is complete with all final inspections performed and passed. NONE OF THE CLIENT'S CLAIMS HAVE MERIT.We respectfully request that this complaint be dismissed since Mr. [redacted]'s attempts at intimidation fall flat in light of the facts
