Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The business has not correctly described the details of this particular matter. All of the information no being provided is new. When I contact the General Manager, [redacted], he was very rude, very insulting, and basically told me to get lost. (I have saved the e-mail conversations with this individual for evidence). But now that the Revdex.com has gotten involved, he/they are trying to pretend as though this is a simple matter of my not choosing to follow company policy, when that is not at all the case. The issue is that the alleged company policy that [redacted] is attempting to assert is not written, displayed, or made available in any other manner. Neither their website nor their contract for services forms has any information that substantiates his/their statements. While their policies may be different from that which is advertised, it seems to only make sense and be agreeable with the law that they honor whatever they happen to be advertising. If they intend to establish and enforce certain policies in light of minimum wage and whatever other issues they have newly incorporated into this matter, they are required to advertise these facts and make potential customers aware of this BEFORE completing, signing, and sending in contracts for services. Anything else is simply contrary to law.

I am very familiar with the details of this complaint. Our operating hours are M-F 8am-5pm. These hours are published in multiple places on the internet.[redacted] initial inquiry requested a price quote for us to allow her to host a meeting at our facility over a weekend. She...
was informed that the rate we charge for weekend meetings was $75 per day. This price is our regular un-discounted daily rate. The rate is not discounted because we must staff the facility during an otherwise closed time period. Upon receiving the requested price quote, [redacted] then went to our website where she discovered discounts we make available for clients to use if beneficial to them. Naturally, our facility must be open to take advantage of such discounts and when it is, the facility is staffed and multiple meetings are occurring at a time which makes the discounted pricing cost effective for all parties. [redacted] then demanded we honor such pricing for her weekend meeting and informed us we were attempting to bait and switch pricing with her.I am not familiar with employee wages in [redacted] but I am familiar with the federal minimum wage. The pricing [redacted] is requesting would provide us a rate of $40 per day of her use of our meeting facility over an 8 hour period or $5 per hour. The pricing we quoted her was $75 per day over an 8 hour period or $9.375 per hour. Neither of these scenarios provides our facility with the money to pay a staff member much less a profit to the facility. We grant these requests periodically simply to assist a client when possible. In fact, we don't always approve weekend meeting requests if a staff member isn't available.Several attempts to explain the above to [redacted] were made however she continues to feel differently. No payments were received. No contracts were signed. No meetings were scheduled. We are not open on weekends and it is on a discretionary basis whether we do so. Best regards,[redacted]Plaza Executive Suites[redacted]
