First let me start with Mr*** called me Tuesday and said we broke his window here and that his fiancé hadn't noticed it when she picked the car up. I then stated it didn't leave here broke. He asked her if it was broke when she left. Then I heard her in the back ground say
"it wasn't broke when I left there". I responded with we couldn't be responsible for something that didn't happen here. Mr*** then hung up on me and called the Dixie hwy store.
Mr***'s story to *** at Dixie was a bit different, this time he stated that the window broke when he shut his door while changing his brakes. This time he added my poor customer services and that we left razor blades in his car, and last our window tinter looked like a "*** ***". He then asked to be put in contact with our owner. *** called our owner explained the situation, our owner then told *** that I needed handle it as I normally do. *** called Mr*** and explained the situation, We cant replace a window that was broke somewhere else.
Mr*** then called me at the Preston store again. This time he told me all of the above again and that we were going to replace his window. I nicely explained why we couldn't be responsible for his window. He then told me I was a "*** *** PUNK THAT HE SHOULD HAVE SLAPPED YESTERSDAY". He repeated this several times and hung up on me.

First let me say yes accidents do happen, but our guys are honest and would tell us if they did this. Second they all work in the shop, so if one was being dishonest other people including the owners were back there to see it happen. Again no one say this happen here, and furthermore there isn't a spot in our parking lot or building that could scrape the car like that if so we'd have this problem more than just in your case. Last its not a day old car its a model Lincoln that most likely came out in 2010, so its a plus year old vehicle. That by far is incorrect. I have brought several cars to the establishment with no problems. I know there were no marks on my 3 day old purchase car. Which are under my passenager door at the bottom l. Not front to back along my car. Accidents happen. But to say we did it or even say its possible it happen there is nonsense to me.

I understand their disclaimer about a factory ride. When you reach speeds of 68-72 miles and hour you shouldn't experience vibration. If they acknowledge my six times of being in their shop, why wait till the six time to send a wheel back to manufacturer? Poor management on their part. I've seen wheels on the internet from other sites that match, why can't they fix this problem?
Unfortunately this is a matter of our word against the customers. We had two installers working on his vehicle and neither employee saw the other take the glasses. We also have 3 other installers all working in the same area, and no one saw anything removed from the...
car. We've had the same staff for many years and never had anything stolen before, or had any reason to believe they would steal from a customers vehicle. As a courtesy to this gentleman we asked our employees about the glasses, but do not believe our staff would steal and risk there employment over a pair of sunglasses. The bottom line, we cant be responsible for something that we have no proof was in the car. And as far as our price on the job itself we advertise that 4 door cars starts at $99.99 because we offer 5 options of product to choose from as it was explained to this customer at the time of purchase and he chose another option than the $99.99. I have reached out to the manufacturer for more support and they have complied by sending the last wheel they had in...
inventory for him. The wheel is discontinued and all items we sell are backed by the manufacture not pro tint as stated on our invoices. There are no immediate safety issues with this truck it just doesn't ride like it would if it had factory wheels on it . Our invoices also state that we do not guarantee a factory ride with aftermarket wheels. At this point the manufacturer is not willing to refund the wheels and since the wheels are discontinued they have no inventory to replace them. I have also given Mr. [redacted] the manufactures phone number and contact information.
