He agreed with freezing my account but still would not refund me for the month of OctoberI didn't talk to anyone prior to the 10th telling me to bring anythingThat is a total lieI also told him my laser surgery forbids you to do any working out for at lease monthsI gave him an example to why a business should not go to extreme to put someone account on holdIt could be for numerous reasons (hardship, can afford it anymore etc)But like I told him it is none of there businessIn retrospect, I have no issues with the actual gym, it was the lies that was told to me when I signed up (the no commitment and can cancel whenever you want with out being charged)I don't want to keep paying for something I am unable to use
It is a shame that you feel so bad about this as you did. We were transparent on our rate sheets, sign up process, agreement you signed and sent you you via email, both in wording and in clear bullet points for clarity. Our freeze process is far superior to other fitness business. I do not ever like to compare us, but you are probably not aware. If you brought your medical note for need of freeze to other like **, ***, *** etc they would "freeze" your account as well. But they will STILL charge you. Those medical freezes just reduce your month rate to $10, you still pay and can not use. Ours is complete no charge. Again, I feel bad that you do not feel this is sufficient, we do feel very good that you are in the extreme minority for this. Members and feedback is quite the opposite, people impressed and surprised that our policies are so superior to other fitness centers in the area or they are used to. We will continue to impress our members with our transparency and policies, and unfortunately we will have one in a blue moon that feels as you do. We tried to resolve it as you agree on the phone, but we can not agree to one term and then change it again because you now feel you still want more. We must still to our terms that we agreed to by both of us. We are not undone the freeze and are still doing our part as we will not go back on our word even if someone else is

Hey ***, Hope your weekend is going well so far We are trying to understand and resolve your issue and concern Unfortunately their is some missing information and you told us not to call you We are sorry that your understanding is that we charged you $without
reason or cause It seems that the Feb 1st charge of $was the Annual Fee which is only once per year It guarantees your rate which is $a month on the 17th, and maintains the club quality and equipment Attached are photos of the website you used to choose your membership You can see our website tries to mirror the in-club experience as best we can Where our staff review and explain all the details, including the Annual Fee, before any member enrolls The page where you choose the offer mentioned the Annual Fee and date, which when you joined it said Feb 1st The second page again mentions the annual in big bold yellow font Your agreement was then sent directly to your email address You can see how the key details, like the annul fee, use bold highlighting and underlining to avoid the feeling of fine print or hidden fees, and so you easily see these notes with your eye The agreement you signed is attached. You mentioned you called the club yourselfWhen was this, do you have an approximate date and time, who you spoke to, any details would help? We need to look into this before we can process any refund proposal All cancellations are done easily with a signature on a carbon form right at the club, you get a yellow copy instantly as a receipt for your records ***, again we strive for not only our great in-club experience of clean facility, wicked cool staff, friendly atmosphere, but transparency and integrity as well Which is why we are so surprised and shocked at your experience and understanding We take this very seriouslyWe have amazing feedback from our members and loyalty, and want to always keep it that way !! :)
This member reached out to the club and then our senior regional manager reached out to close the issue. At the end of the phone call the member agreed and understood our collective proposal. The issue was resolved according to member. As Revdex.com is aware all agreements have key terms of the
agreement in bullet points at the beginning of agreement, which a digital copy is sent to member for their records after they have gone over rate sheets, agreement, and signed for understanding. We are doing still what we agreed to do and the member accepted. Closing the matter
Good Saturday Revdex.com, I am trying to understand all the details here However there is very little information given, so I don't think I can give much response aside from what I have attached How did they/she try to cancel? By phone, by certified mail, visited the club?
Who did they speak to? On what day and time? How exactly did they refuse to cancel them? Usage we are showing is definitely more than one visit. I have attached a copy both their agreements, which they received by email the day they each joined They did not join in February as *** stated, but in late November of They each joined online, not at the club As you can see from our agreements, we pride ourselves and transparency as well as integrity It is bold and highlighted the key areas which we summarized into bullet points on top area of first page You can see how this was a month minimum term, and if someone wanted to cancel before that term it would only be a $buyout fee After months any cancellation is at no cost And all cancellations are done at the club 24/or via certified mail, ensuring that all parties have a paper receipt of the cancellation. I included two photos of what the online process looks like You can see the first window states the month minimum term, and also the second page clearly as well. To cancel a membership it can be done in club or via certified mail The $buyout fee for early termination could be paid via credit card or cash We have free fitness training, we are opened and staffed 24/ We would love to get a free session set up with Andrea and Phillip, so we can develop a program that fits their needs and their fitness goals whatever they may be We would love to get them to try out their Black Card features more, like the Hydromassage beds We are very willing to work with them on using their membership Thank you !
Good Sunday ***, In our first response we tried to be as clear and simple as we could As one of our Core Values is transparency, as yourself and the Revdex.com saw from the documents I sent We are unsure if there was still some confusion in the info and questions we sent you, or if you have simply declined to do so and forgo any path to a refund proposal We assume it was the later one. As such we can move past most of the dispute/confusion as we have cleared all that up Only last thing we are looking at is your request of cancellation In our last message we explained the two simple ways to process a cancellation Unfortunately you choose to do neither of those two things Furthermore, you sent incorrect information to your bank stating you did not sign the agreement that you signed, the one we sent another copy over to you and you were emailed the day you enrolled This caused both the 2/Annual charge and the 2/charge for monthly dues to return The balance on your account needs to be paid before we can process any cancellationYou will need to pay this balance by 3/in order to avoid the next monthly fee being charged on 3/ You can pay this balance easily online at planetfitness.com or at the club with debit/credit card or cash. Once this is taken care of we will be happy to cancel your membership and you will have another receipt for your records We are sorry you did not wish to take further use of our staff 24/facility in Laveen that is family owned and operated We have had marvelous feedback overall from the community and are working to provide and awesome atmosphere and experience everyday !!! Enjoy the rest of your weekend :)
He agreed with freezing my account but still would not refund me for the month of October. I didn't talk to anyone prior to the 10th telling me to bring anything. That is a total lie. I also told him my laser surgery forbids you to do any working out for at lease 2 months. I gave him an example to why a business should not go to extreme to put someone account on hold. It could be for numerous reasons (hardship, can afford it anymore etc). But like I told him it is none of there business. In retrospect, I have no issues with the actual gym, it was the lies that was told to me when I signed up (the no commitment and can cancel whenever you want with out being charged). I don't want to keep paying for something I am unable to use.
Cancel my membership do not charge me anymore. I am not interested in dealing with Planet fitness after that whole experience.

Our Fitness center offers two membership choices, both with an annual fee of $39 billed once per year to all members. Please find [redacted] Iriqui's membership agreement and email attached in this e-mail as a supporting document to her original terms. Also, to serve as testament for our transparency as a fitness center to our billing terms. We would like this matter to be dropped and dissolved as it is not a true/accurate account of our company or service standards. We feel that our company has taken sufficient action to resolve and accommodate B[redacted] in her request and concerns. If there is any action that the Revdex.com feels we we could or should take further in this regard please let us know!
