To Whom It May Concern,We are sorry to hear that a customer claimed to have had a bad experience at Place To Beach. This customer contacted us via email and we were not given enough time to investigate and to respond to her emailWe are surprised by the fact that she contacted you, given that her
emails had a different tone, where she wrote that she had a great time at Place To Beach (please note that she stayed at Place To Beach for several hours). We value our customers and our goal is to provide a joyful, relaxed and safe environment. We have investigated the matter and our records show that for about minutes the security personnel, from a professional company experienced in the business, was trying to assist the customer feeling sick, offering water so that she could recoverOnly when the customer’s boyfriend became more aggressive towards the security personnel, such personnel decided to escort the customer and the boyfriend out of the premises. We trust the security personnel in the management of critical situation and we are confident they have been trained properly.Again, we are sorry that the customer had this experience
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
My complaint has not been resolved The business' initial response was condescending to say the least and basically tried to counter my entire complaint It is again not ok to treat people this way It is not ok to pepper spray someone and hit them both of which are classified as assault It is not ok to be dismissive What I will say is when I was contacted by the head of the security company on Tuesday, October *, 2016, it was a very pleasant phone call He was extremely apologetic, he was thinking of different things he could do to make up for the horrible experience He spoke to me as a professional in such a professional manner and not once did he tell me I "claimed" the events happened Since our last correspondence, I received a medical bill from Coney Island Hospital for $ That is now added to the $700+ ambulance bill

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
My email to Place to Beach which no one has responded to even if just to inform me that they will be investigating the matter had the same tone as my complaint I did have an enjoyable experience up until the incident Which my email clearly stated See excerpt from my email below:I ordered one drink and I did not like it so I ordered something else along with a bottle of water. In total I had two drinks. After the second drink, I did not feel wellI began to throw up. Security responded, said I had to leave. My boyfriend asked them to allow get my bearings and we would leave. They insisted that I had to be moved immediately and wanted to throw me over into a corner as if I was trashMy boyfriend informed them that I could not stand. That did not matter to them. I asked my boyfriend to get my credit card and license from the bar so we could goI asked both security and my boyfriend for some water. My boyfriend got my belongings and the water. I took a sip and they began to try to move me. My boyfriend said please just let me get her together are you just going to throw her out? At that time, security pepper sprayed my boyfriend and hit him in the head with something. As I am reaching for him and hearing him ask why did you mace me I am thrown to the ground by security who at this point puts us both out Security also bragged about the incident to patrons who were there earlier, left to go to Tom's and returned.Although I had a great time at a Place to Beach and the bar staff was great, this incident was very unfortunate. Your employees are a reflection of you. That is not the way people should be treated I look forward to hearing from you in regards to this matter. I can be reached via email or at *** ***.I begged security to please get me some water My boyfriend got me the water initially I asked for another cup of water while my boyfriend went to retrieve my id & cc They then brought me a cup of water The security was adamant about throwing me over to a corner like trash as I stated My boyfriend kept saying I got her let her get her bearings You're not going to just throw her in a corner So is defending me is now the new term for being aggressive? Who in their right mind would be out with their girlfriend and be clearly out numbered become aggressive? The security team was not trying to hear anything From me or him They wanted me moved immediately They pepper sprayed him and hit him with an object in the head prior to throwing not escorting us out as they so nicely out it I have the bruises on my buttocks from being thrown on to the boardwalk They were so courteous to call EMS although it was not necessary and the staff at the ER were clearly baffled as to why the ambulance was called and told me I could leave Now I am billed $for a service that I did not request It angers me that the response downplays the incident It angers me that the security team behaved in such an unprofessional manner both during and after the incident I did mention they bragged to other patrons about their actions This is unacceptable behavior
